I feel so bad😭😭

Pjuske came back from the taxidermist a couple days ago, and I was curious how the others would react to him. I'd imagined they'd be curious, but nope, they were all terrified😭

I love the Danish word hitte. It literally means "something lost that has been found" or "to find something lost" and it's most often used in the combine-word hittegods, which means "lost and found items". But, crucially, it can be combined with virtually any noun! which gives us the amazing word hittekat - a cat who was lost and who has now been found. The cat wasn't necessarily lost by you, or anyone else, it may just have been lost in general. But now it has been found :)

yes it’s freezing here 😩 it’s snowed like 20-30 cm here so i pulled out my winter jacket and wool jumper in hopes to not freeze to death lol — hope you’re able to stay warm too sweetheart

and i am giggling rn. okay here goes

suguru and i both enjoy slow mornings, but i’m probably worse than him lol. usually he wakes up first, and he is sooooooo sweet bc he’ll just… yk there’s not a good word for it in english but pjuske — which is like just stroking his fingers on my skin to wake me up. very nice, like nearly tickling. eventually he’ll get up and make breakfast

he isn’t the best cook, but he has managed to perfect breakfast. idk how he does it but his toasts are heavenly good… like it’s just toast???? but absolutely delicious

but maybe one to two times a week, by the power of some higher might, i get up first. i love to feed people, so gotta pull out my best cooking skills and make something really nice

we’ve been thinking of getting a pet, obviously i want a cat. but i am not gonna lie, i am terrified that creature will gravitate towards suguru more. that’s my worst nightmare, and i can picture him having that type of energy that cats just seem to love yk. but i think we would both like to have a lil furball running around 🙂‍↕️

I feel absolutely blessed to have found a dedicated exotics clinic, specialized in guinea pigs, rabbits, and hedgehogs. I look forward to every vet visit, in spite of the price, because they just make it such a positive experience. They just get guinea pigs. They completely understand guinea pig behaviors and personalities and preferences, so I feel 100% confident leaving my piggies in their care. Not a lot of vets can be trusted to have that level of commitment to small exotics
