marc’s relationship to moonknight is so toxic because his decision to be moonknight was during a vulnerable moment but steven was kind of roped into being a vigilante along with marc and so he had a guide there for him and i think he can find way more fun and fulfillment in being moonknight because of that ease into things. esp cause he’s such an advocate for justice and doing what’s right ( typical hero mindset). i feel like marc would need to also learn that inherent altruism to find that he also can find pros and not just cons to being moonknight. jake is mostly just moonknight because he sees it as necessary. there has to be someone out there because if not him then it will be someone else. and god forbid anything happen to marc or steven under his watch ):

I keep seeing this one youtube video on my feed that is essentially "the Dream SMP was a good idea but executed poorly" and I just get very upset every time I see it because it's not inherently against the DSMP, but I just dont think people understand that it was never supposed to be what it ended up being.

It was literally a server for Dteam + friends to hang out on and mess around together without the constraints that youtube videos create. It then started to grow and more people were added and from there the lore started.

It wasn't some master plan that Dream made to blow up his popularity, it was a way to pass the time during the pandemic, and it just so happened that people were interested in crafting a story.

When the lore started to drop off a bit was when we were leaving the worst of the pandemic, people were able to go out and work on things away from minecraft.

ALSO the fans of the main lore were very vocal in how they wanted it to go, which created a struggle for the creators, as they didn't want to go that way but they also didn't want to upset their fans.

Creators struggled to work together to write lore, creators were really sick and really depressed and didn't prioritise the lore, which upset fans and created a rift between fandoms.

I don't think people really understand that, as the DSMP didn't become super popular until the lore started so they believe it was a lore server from the beginning. It was just a server for people to hang out on and make the pandemic a little less lonely, which helped so many people no matter how all over the place it got.

Dregnancy dream getting recognised at the doctor's by a fan who's also pregnant? He freaks out for the next week but whoever recognised him is very nice and respectful and they have a nice conversation next time they bump into each other at the next appointment?

Dream getting pregnant like 7 months before his and George's wedding so he's at his own wedding heavily pregnant?

Cats finally actually get along because all of them simply must cuddle with dream's baby bump all at the same time?

I'm just throwing some random ideas maybe some of them are inspiring idk 😭

Aww man some of these are really good I wish I thought of them before planning out my fic, guess that means I need to write a second one as well. But here are some expansions on your awesome ideas.

Sapnap immediately notices something is off with Dream, and asks him before he’s even taken a test if he’s pregnant. Dream is like ???? But they go get a test and sure enough he is. Sapnap gets bragging rights about being the very very first person to know.

Dreams overthinking goes everywhere it can go, from being spotted shopping in the maternity section, to worrying about putting on weight, to just freaking out in general about pregnancy. But George manages to get in his head that he’ll be fine, and if he doesn’t want to go into a physical shop, they can look online. Dream decides he at least wants one item of maternity wear made by Dream Branding just bc of how comfy it is.

His family would be ecstatic that he’s expecting. I cannot see a family that close having any other reaction. Drmom would be happy but concerned for his health, his dad would be a support for him and more so George who fears becoming a dad and wanting to know the best way to support Dream, and his siblings would all be excited about becoming aunts/uncles.

Telling George’s family would be special bc they’d fly over specially to tell them the news, and get similar advice from them as well.

Announcing to their fans, George would ban Dream from going on Twitter to ensure he doesn’t get stressed, but surprisingly it’s mostly positive. Obviously there’s the antis who say they’re lying (idk I find it funny that bc they can’t say he’s queer baiting bc hes actively pregnant they try to deny it so they can keep it up). Lots of positivity from the creator sphere as well surprisingly, we’re keeping it a mix of positivity and realistic dranti thought processes.

I love the idea of Dream meeting a fan while at a checkup. Like it’s before he’s announced it, and it’s very clear that he’s there for a pregnancy checkup. He gets a bit nervous but the fan is like “oh i completely understand this situation might be stressful but I promise I won’t go blabbing my mouth,” and she shows him that she doesn’t have Twitter. A month or so passes and he bumps into her again, and thanks her for not giving away their surprise. Later on he gets her address and sends her some regular merch, and some of the secret maternity merch as a thanks.

Dream would only realise the timing of their wedding halfway through is pregnancy and freak out bc he hasn’t gotten anything modified to wear, so George would take him to get a custom made suit to really highlight his bump come time for their wedding. George would also tell Dream that they couldn’t move the wedding bc they also have to do paperwork for the visa bc that will all change once they’re married. (Also when the baby is older they’ll share pictures and go “look! You were at our wedding too!!”)

Milo stops shitting on Dreams bed (no promises if it will last after he’s no longer pregnant) and Patches has stopped hissing at poor Naomi. Though she doesn’t let the other cats get the prime spot right on top of his bump, they’re forced to curl up to his sides instead. Sapnap is kinda miffed that his cats love Dream more atm but hey, at least he doesn’t have to clean up Dreams bed anymore.

My favorite thing about dregnant is just thinking how others would react.

Drmom would probably be visiting often as she knows his messed up medical history 😭 Drista would be excited and already saying it's a girl and how she can't wait to play with her.

If you going with DNF route, george would drop everything and stop every other plan for the next 9-12 months to hover over dream to take care of him, knowing the workaholic would not stop unless told to.

If you going with the DNN route, sapnap and george would definitely argue who's the farther for a bit, before realizing their arguments is stressing dream out and that it doesn't matter who's the child is genetically, they all equally love the child

Drmom would be a mix of excitement for being a grandma but also incredible concern for her son bc he already has the worst immune system; and she had troubling pregnancies where they just left her feeling drained, but she’d help out and give him advice on parenting and make sure he’s okay throughout.

Drista 100% would be like “yep, girl” and just go “yep, called it” when they announce the gender. She’d also join Dream when he goes shopping for baby clothes and get the cutest little sets bc she can’t trust the boys to dress their daughter properly.

I personally would go the dnf route (shout-out to DNNers I just can’t get onto it), and George would definitely drop everything to support Dream. A collab six months down the line? Cancelled. Travelling with Sapnap to LA? Sorry, you’re on your own. Trip planned to London in Dreams last month of pregnancy? Fuck it, his parents can fly over to them instead.

I do like the idea of dnn having George and Sapnap fighting with eachother over who is the dad, and when they notice it’s upsetting Dream and stressing him out they stop. But behind the scenes they still bicker (completely malice free more so like “yeah I hope they have my genetics so they can win arguments all the time” or something) and when the baby is born they just kinda go “yeah, we’re all genetically related” and never pursue any paternity bc they know it will cause more arguments.

just curious is your dregnancy fic more of a fluffy one or will it have angsty tone sometimes? ( I personally like both types of these for dregnancy and gognancy )

It’s definitely on the fluffy side. I’m gonna include some angst but nothing more than some negativity online and pregnancy mood swings. I’m planning on writing more fics, especially angsty ones bc I love angst, but for my first one it’s just lighthearted dnf becoming parents except it’s Dream pregnant instead of George.

Dream: “I hate you I’m divorcing you I wish you never got me pregnant because all I’m craving is the stupid sushi you got me into and I can’t eat it”

George: “okay in my defence when I brought you to that restaurant I did not expect this down the line. What if I stop eating sushi so I can crave it with you, and then after the baby is born we’ll celebrate with sushi delivered to the hospital room?”

Dream: “…fine, but you’re paying for all of my meals for the foreseeable future as punishment.”

Said this to my mum and I’ll say it again. Tommy isn’t doing anything nice to rekindle lost friendships, he’s doing it so he can try and secure a spot in Dreams new project. And I’m 99% sure Dream wouldn’t want anything to do with him after that video.

Tommy is 20. He’s an adult (and under inniter standards means he can be held accountable for his actions but that’s another discussion). All the crying in the world won’t revoke the stupidity that was his “If YouTubers Were Honest” video (albeit 19 at the time but again, inniter logic means he can still be held accountable for his shitty decisions down the line).

He went through doxxing, had Dream coach him and his family what to do, and in return made fun of a situation that brought danger to Dreams family, all for a shot at the QSMP.

As much as I live for the nostalgia of disc duo, it’s lost any reality of coming back. Tommy is too driven by clout and Dream has made it abundantly clear recently that he doesn’t fuck with the ops (in this case, Tommyinnit.

when will your dregnacy fic come out??

Good question… I have genuinely been working on it for two years now (started Jan 2023) but bc there’s interest here and I’m able to yap about it I’ve been heaps more motivated and I’d like to get it out by March/April this year. I have uni which will slow me down a bit but I’m in a good spot to work on it sporadically.
