This is a painting of my gf's dragon Rehkiros from Flight Rising! He's an ancient and jaded fortune teller whose eyes have turned into spirals after staring into his orb for too long, mimicking the swirling fates he witnessed. This is a depiction of one of his nightmares. I wanted the smoke in the background to swirl mirroring the swirl of his eye. I tried to play with the composition too so your eye follows a circular pattern.
