09/01/2020 • 11:23PM // hi u guys it’s a new year!!! i hope everyone’s doin’ well, this is a pic of me at the hammer museum looking at lari pittman’s works. it’s almost the end of week 1 but my god it feels like week 6 i am tiiiiiired! i’m really happy with the way my first quarter here went (4.0 GPA ! not depressed ! some friends ! gained 7 pounds !), and i’m really nervous about how this quarter will go (18 units ! classes which sound really hard ! a job i’m kinda scared about ! still trying to make friends ! and take care of myself !) but fingers crossed and the only way out is through, right?

today i went to my lectures for global political theory in translation, introduction to communication studies, and history of art as social and political commentary (CLASS FROM 12:30 TO 7PM U GUYS it was awful i hardly peed or ate ugh ugh ugh)

did some reading for my comm class from deborah tannen’s book “you just don’t understand” (about gender differences in interpersonal communication, v interesting so far explains some fights me and my boyf have had)

made a rheumatology appointment over spring break (my doctor thinks i may have arthritis pls pray for me)

sent a couple emails, one for my new job as a tour guide and one to a professor asking for feedback

took off my nail polish which i have been meaning to do but have not
