was confused by Alan being called uncle until the moment he presented Jeff with matching split heart bracelets with magnets to rejoin them and their initials. he truly is a child of the early 90s, cursed (or blessed, you decide) with the amorous prowess of a teenager in the mid to late 2000s

Episode 11

To be clear I’ve not watched it yet technically I’m still on episode three don’t at me about it

Charlie was/is so sure that his death was the only way to fix everything — to protect Babe and Jeff — that he was willing to actually die to do it.

Like, yes, given Jeff’s ability and everything it’s likely they knew or assumed things would end up fine.

But, Charlie crashed his car and had someone give him experimental drugs. The crash could have killed him for real — the drug could have killed him — the second drug could have killed him — he could never have any abilities again — he could end up permanently disabled because of the accident. Obviously, none of these will happen because that’s not where the show is going. But they could have.

Charlie believed that his death was the answer with complete conviction and went through with the plan regardless of legitimate risks to his wellbeing.

That’s devotion AND 3D chess all wrapped up with a bow.

my thoughts on ep 11

First of all: me personally, I didn't see kentapete coming, but I definitely don't hate it.

Sidething I realized: when whey were teen, they looked like they were around 17 years old, not like people played by older actors.

Now I really want like kentpete as a past love story, but then both of them moving on, with Way and Kim and being happy, especially my baby Kenta.

Allanjeff finally happened, so cute 😍

Northsonic too, the way they were bullying Allan.

Also, Kim really lives there now. 😃

Another interesting thing, that's different from the novel, is how they got rid of Charlie's powers and that it was his and not Jeff's plan.

Can't wait for next Friday. 😍

Pit Babe ep 11 initial reaction

Found this ep a little boring. But enjoyed getting to have so much Jeff and Pete.

Let’s get into the photo review

Now Pete says he can use Way later in the ep to Babe but??? What the fuck can Way do? He lives in that diner being drunk. He’s not super trusted by Tony. I guess Pete and Way are both enigmas but idk. I don’t get what Pete is trying to do. Maybe way can compel someone to show them evidence???

Nooooooo he’s celebrating your death Charlie WTF what would you do if babe died? I get that he needs to pretend to be dead to test out if you can get rid of abilities but Charlie is a very stupid protagonist.

They all are motivated by this. Every single character except for Tony who is just evil

Awwwwwww Alan he loves Jeff even if he’s sus and won’t give in easily. Alan is a super green flag beside the age gap

I do love the found family element of everyone staying in Alan’s giant house. I loved getting to see Kim walking about offering breakfast. This light hearted scene with North Sonic and Alan was very sweet. The whole show is VERY heavy and I feel like this was one of the longest light scene we’ve had. Once again I love Sonic’s tie dye heart shirt. Are North and Sonic dating? I guess so?

Omph im supposed to be enjoying Jeff and Alan and yet all I can think about is Boston and Nick because I’m still heart broken. Okay so Alan went to find Jeff there. I wonder if Jeff likes the skate park cause a future there is just scraped knees or having fun. You can also be around people but not be too close to them. I can see why that environment appeals to Jeff. The little magnet bracelets were cute Alan putting the moves on Jeff. The NC scene went on forever. So good on you if that’s your kind of thing…. For me it’s a 2x speed through. But nice! Great.

Ohhhh so Kenta is normal. I guess if he was an alpha he’d be sold off. But if I was Tony I’d want a super human watching me. So who is uncle revel’s son I’m putting my money on Kenta. I love Kenta. He’s not as precious to me as Kim but he is great I found this back story very appealing. As an enigma Pete is a superior baby maker (is that what’s going on idk?) but he’s in love with a human without the right parts for that. Very sweet.

So is this Pete’s ability to show people memories? At first I thought it was a stylistic way to show Kenta’s idealized version of the past but PitBabe haven’t done that for flash backs before which makes me think it’s a memory. Kenta really loves Pete he can’t stay away.

The way Charlie closed his eyes before crashing his car, the way babe's eyes are still red and he is still zoned out, eating less and enraged, the way Charlie is devastated when he asks Jeff "Is babe very sad?", it may come off as a stupid question until you study his expressions, HIS EYES are pleading, begging jeef to say that babe is fine, that's why when jeff says the obvious, there we see grief and GUILT, the way Charlie is ready to be a test subject to unknown drugs just so the senses no longer remain so that BABE is safe, the way CHARLIE GETS OVERPROTECTIVE in the preview after finding those babe related pictures, the way Charlie was so pale and injured but he did all of that just for babe. Charlie sweetheart, he loves you sm, he is not sad, he is devastated, he will never get over you sweetheart, he loves and cares about you sm, please go back to him. Save him, again pls.
