She actually isnt an ace attorney oc anymore, she is her full own oc with a story now.

So she is an angel working for heaven to try to prove that souls that just arrived deserve to be in heaven, she is the defense.

Atleast she would be if she was any normal angel but she grew up in a family of angels that work on the other side, more so with demons to try to prove souls are NOT innocent and deserve to go to hell.

So shes actually a prosecutor.

She ends up meeting a demon who wanted to work the defense table, first demon in history. His name is Leon, and he is a one horned goat demon with love in his heart, maybe a bit too much.

So they ended up meeting and hitting it off, and Angelita slowly comes to realize maybe she doesnt want to be a prosecutor at all, maybe it is corrupt, why should souls be sent to damnation over petty theft and such.

Her grandpa does not like this idea, he is the head of angels and refuses to let his grand daughter not only linger with this demon but also become a defense angel bc thats not what their family does.

i was also thinking, i forget if its ever come up in ace attorney, but phoenix could just. fire edgeworth as his defense.

i think in that state, up against that truth, believing so thoroughly that the era of the truth freeing people is over, he would just straight up tell edgeworth no, you will not defend me, i will not let you search for the truth and i will defend my OWN version of the truth no matter what. its uncomfortable and painful and horrible for edgeworth to hear, but he’ll get through it.

but trucy taking his badge and telling him she’ll figure out the truth? can he do that?? can he say to her face that theres no hope???? maybe he thinks she’ll figure out something he didnt, maybe in a fit of greed he thinks she may realize the truth and know best to hide it, let phoenix drift away where the truth cant hurt anyone anymore, or maybe its just that he cant bring himself to tell his daughter to leave him alone. but he sees himself in her eyes when she says the defense is ready, and as much as hes worn himself down into the mould hes designed to keep the events of that day hidden, he cant even imagine letting that bit of himself fade away.
