my car might be totaled and it wasnt my fault and im recovering from whiplash and the er doctor said i have some early stage osteo arthritis in my lower back and i dont have a lot of money and this does throw a wrench in my work/social/personal plans but i am like. coping? like im... vaguely sort of bummed out and my body hurts but im just like. okay. well. lets constructively talk to friends abt it and. go figure it out i guess.

I do not subscribe to the idea that pipit is like. A brotherly figure. I think he was links first puppy crush that went nowhere and now they're just best friends

rubbing my face. i need to write for myself soo badly im so bad at managing my time between work and the hobbies i do manage to continue but im so socially motivated that when it comes to sitting down and typing or drawing badly even though its immensely fulfilling and satisfying ive been avoiding it. i bet it would help me wind down from work though. i need to start setting aside a certain amount of time every day again just for it.

the gender affirming experience of doing manual labor quickly and efficiently versus the irish flush that takes over my entire body when its 85 degrees out and i do anything at all.

adhd meds in this country and the strict bureaucracy around them is insane . i pee in front of a nurse once a year and have in office appointments every six months for drug screenings, can never have my medicine auto filled, i have to call it in each month and every three months request scripts from my pcp and my dr agreed to a dose increase after years of the smallest dose for an adult, and the insurance said, uhm, we will approve this specific name brand one but not the generic one. and i said okay whatever, fine. and they followed up with. but we wont cover it until the 21st, so the pharmacy cant legally fill it until then. this leaves me without ANY medicine for several weeks, which is...technically against the terms of my agreement with my doctor but theres nothing we can do so we just have to be in violation of those terms for now. because of um. something.

so happy for patient portal love u patient portal. hate the fact that im messaging my dr about preauth on new med dosage and im also experiencing period dysphoria so naturally the notion of asking anyone for anything right now is like getting hammered over the head with a giant mallet labeled 'shame' like a cartoon

had a good day, finished totk finally!! i love narratives about sacrifice and cycles and (dragons dogma) so the ending was a hit with me even if it didnt do EVERYTHING i wanted. its mechanically the perfect game i never want them to make again (lol). also streamed the birdcage with friends, which was so fun. ate some bad quesadillas for dinner so im hoping to rectify that by cooking tomorrow. got my favorite instant coffee to start my day. might try to finish the book im reading with my friend.

that all said, got hit with a wave of some ghoulish half anguish at myself. its funny how the brain does that on good days. after a wash and water and softer clothes and bedding im feeling much better. scrolled to a picture of lucien that i drew that i like and laughed out loud so i took that to mean the monkey brain has been sated

love playing just a little bit of elden ring as a bit. launch it, run around, level up twice, meet up with a darling npc, die to a wyrm 3 times, level up again, reconsider my equipment, exit game.

absolutely obsessed with the cliche of the job guy in a romantic series looking at the protagonist and having an epiphany while the sparkly musical motif plays and he's like oh... (prolonged eye contact) do you... (soft shade close up) want to... do work with me??
