Mom wonders where the time has gone, because I'm growing up too fast and I am now NINE MONTHS old. Things I love: music, watching sports and trying to play video games with Dad, playing with and petting Jack White, sunshine and being outside, eating and drinking, (especially mashed potatoes, sweet tea and chocolate gravy), laughing, smiling, talking, playing with my toys, bubble baths and swimming, playing with my cousins, looking at my reflection, taking selfies, holding my own bottle, giving kisses, sitting in my high chair, saying "Dada", holding my own bottle, pulling myself up on everything, play wrestling with Mom, being tickled, standing up and trying to walk, (with Mom and Dad's help), jumping in my jumper, swinging, bouncing in my bouncer, pat-a-cake, being sung to, having my mouth on everything, riding in the basket at stores, taking naps, snuggling with Mom and Dad, my wind chimes and pinmills, spending time with my Grandparents, screaming, spitting, blowing bubbles and taking up the whole bed. Things I hate: teething, beets (I have finally found something I do not like and will not eat) and not getting my way because I'm so spoiled. I also will throw a temper tantrum when I do not get my way, which Mom says when I'm older I will get into trouble for, but we'll see because she's a push over. Haha. I have now been to my first Arts Festival with Dad, attended a live sporting event and a movie in the theater with Mom, been to my first daycare, colored and painted my own pictures and had my first girlfriend. I can FINALLY CRAWL (which Mom and Dad are super proud of me) after months of trying. I also have gotten my FIRST tooth which is exciting. Last year on my birthday, I was pregnant with you and looking forward to meeting you. This year on my birthday we spent the day together and you are the best present that I have ever received. woke up really early to get the train to Ipswich with dad (: got some pret at the station and then got on to eat it all. journey wasn't too long and we went straight to court. I was v sleepy and hungry but at 1.05 we stopped for lunch and we grabbed some vege curry. another 3 hours in court before we went to the hotel to sort ourselves. We changed and then drove to pinmill in a car Hugh let dad borrow :) I had battered halloumi, cheesy chips and garden peas for dinner and dad had some sea foody stuff and it was all so good. also had massive pieces of garlic bread but I was so full I couldn't finish mine :/ we walked off the food and saw all the cute converted boat houses on the side of the river. there were also a bunch of decaying boats further down and it was all so pretty coz the sun was setting. headed back to the hotel and now I'm all showered and ready for bed :)

Hello, I’m Parker and now that I’m EIGHT months old, I think I’m too cool for Mom.

Things I love: music, watching sports, playing with and petting Jack White, sunshine and being outside, eating and drinking, (especially mashed potatoes, sweet tea and chocolate gravy), laughing, smiling, trying to talk, playing with my toys, bubble baths, playing with my cousins, looking at my reflection, taking selfies, giving kisses, play wrestling with Mom, being tickled, standing up and trying to walk, (with Mom’s help), jumping in my jumper, swinging, bouncing in my bouncer, pat-a-cake, being sung to, having my mouth on everything, taking naps, snuggling with Mom, my wind chimes and pinmills, spending time with my Grandparents, screaming, spitting, blowing bubbles and taking up the whole bed.

Things I hate: teething. I have been teething for months and still have no teeth.

I can now hold my own bottle, say "Dada", reach for Mom and anyone else I want to hold me, pull myself up, sit in my own highchair (at home and restaurants), I can hold myself up (in the crawl position) and have officially taken two steps while crawling.

I love how independent you’re becoming and watching you become your own little person. You are my heart and my best friend, there isn’t anything in the world I wouldn’t do for you. You continuously make me a better person and I’m the luckiest Mom in the world, because I get to live life with you. I love you, my sweet, perfect boy.
