As an elder millennial (or xennial depending on who you ask) the emo phase with full on side sweep hair cut kinda passed me by. But hell. Once you reach 40, you genuinely no longer give a shit, and I think I can pull it off 😅
Also today has been a good day. After a year of fighting the system, we might finally be getting close to getting my boy into a SEN school.

I treated myself to a salon day today. I wanted to go full blonde but also still have some pink highlights. We out here manifesting those Regina George vibes. 💅✨️
In the past, I used to let people walk all over me, but those days are long gone. We are *not* going to give anyone else permission to let us feel inferior in 2024 and beyond. The only thing that could ever stop me from achieving all of my wildest dreams is me, and I'm ready to say goodbye to the girl who would bite her tongue and hold back her true feelings.
