Slowly putting the first neighbourhood together and imho it looks sooooo nice! Just as I’ve imagined 😌

Also, I’ve learned how to recolour objects in the Sims4Studio and make backdrops (like e.g. those mountains) buyable and actually visible in game, so… God, somebody stop me pls! 😂

Pinemount Ridges houses (recolors)

I thought for somebody it might be useful ❤️

When you create your own save file, backdrop deco builds is something you always lack, so would be good to have more, right? Even if those are just recolored options of what we have in game 🤗

I’ve used textures from Growing Together pack to recolor houses from High School Years and one house from Eco Living. Hope it will be handy 😌

This is my favourite part of ex-Foundry Cove, ofc I’m gonna do a billion screenshots from different angles

I actually have quite some plans for the remaining part, like adding some convenience store, maybe some small laundromat to the actual lots and some kind of park and a small market to the off-lot area

So excited! 😍

Also started putting together the laundromat and the convenience store lot, still not sure about the layout and if it stays in this neighbourhood at all 🫠

But omg I looove how it looks!

TGIF! 💃🏻 (already not in my city, but still 😄)

Spent unforgivably a lot of time figuring out if I like another layout for this gas station or not and eventually, was able to build something I moderately satisfied with

Now furnishing and cluttering, still lots to be done, but here are some spoilers ✨

Btw, don’t give a … anything, who Tom Vecchi is, but I’m definitely creating him for my save!

Continuing with this area, and loveloveloooove all those small details like trees and car parking, makes everything so live and just makes my heart melting 🥹

Next step is to try to find some free 3d model of a colonial church or chapel and convert it to the game deco object (might take ages as I’m not familiar with blender like… at all, but I just want to have that in my save, so I won’t give up!) 🫣

Yoo! Long time no sims

Honestly, for quite some time I didn’t even want to share anything and play sims at all

All my save files and the game itself actually was corrupted, and it drove me a lil bit crazy

But I’m gonna still start it all over again, as otherwise I just won’t have sims worlds as I would like them to see, duh 😒

For now, since I’ve reinstalled it, I didn’t do anything, but recently started thinking if everything I’ve planned some time ago is still valid, etc

Like reconsidering the concept

Spoiler: 90% it is, maybe some adjustments to be made though

And yet, as I’ve told a few posts ago, I’m not that happy with the save file (thus, my world/town, area) name

So don’t be surprised with the “rebranding” which is definitely coming soon 💫

Now my inspiration is sorta got back, so… really back in business ❤️

P.S. and I’m soooo sooo thankful for almost hitting 200 subs here, like… cmon, someone like what I do???? Really???? Thank you guys for being here for some reason, love you ❤️

Back in business, as they say!

Launched Sims for the first time in ~1,5 months, got the game broken and then almost fixed, got some inspiration for another area of Pinemount Ridges and started preparing some kind of a save database to keep track of my builds, households and mods used 🫠

Will share the template this week once I’m done with the structure as it might be useful for other ppl who are doing their own saves 🫶

Meanwhile I’m trying to come up with the **main street** I’ve always wanted to have. Still figuring out the layout of backdrops as well as actual builds, but I think it will turn out nice!

Aaaand let me now go to finally reply to my messages, comments and even one ask that I’ve got (I promise, you will hear from me really really soon!) ❤️

My job is giving me a hit of a hard time these days (everything is perfectly fine except for the workload), so I realised I barely want to do anything after I’m finishing daily tasks

Anybody else finds it extremely unfair that we have to work instead of playing sims the whole day?….

Anyway 🫣 I haven’t made a lot of progress after weekends as I’m tired as hell every evening, but I decided to expand to Forgotten Hollow which, in my mind, a part of Pinemount Ridges - you know, like an entrance to the town.

I’ve also emptied this world to remove all those vampire creepy deco 😌

Here’s the first lot WIP - an old gas station. I have the whole story for it put together, and will share it in the following posts once I create the sims for this idea
