Oh!!! I forgot a really important part! For every day you adhere 100% to your medication schedule, they'll donate a portion of their revenue to a charity of your choice. There's only 6 right now, but they're all great choices. They're planning to expand further as the app grows and there's more income available to be able to split between new ones and give them all a meaningful amount.

The current choices are:

-Save the Children

-Doctors Without Borders

-Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Association

-Unicef

-National Pediatric Cancer Foundation

-Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

(Mine is going to Doctors Without Borders right now! It's great motivation to keep on top of my meds)

They're donating a pretty big chunk of the profits too, for a relatively small app compared to medisafe with somewhere around 100-200k downloads (Medisafe has over 5 million, for reference) they've already donated about $122,000 total this month so far. Premium isn't even particularly expensive, either.

Follow up on the Medisafe bullshit, Pillo is actually SO MUCH BETTER. I didn't think it would have as many features but it does, plus so much more

-You can set it to remind you to start eating before it's time to take your meds if that's a requirement

-It has a system in place to stop you from tapping that you've taken them beforehand and then getting distracted

-You can add a photo of the pill in case you or someone else needs help distinguishing it.

-You can add caregivers to get alerts to their phone when you miss doses!! (This is a paid feature though)

-Similarly you can add dependents to your app and get reminders for their meds too! (I'm not sure how many you can add for free but premium is unlimited)

-It lets you distinguish between prescription and non prescription meds, and "take as needed" meds stay there at the bottom for you to easily track whenever you take them

-It gives you a notification when "take as needed" meds are able to be taken again! So helpful for when I'm having One Of Those Days and need to take paracetamol regularly

-It lets you easily share your logs with your doctor as an email!

-It has a built in drug interaction checker, although this is down for improvements right now

-On top of ALL of Medisafe's existing features

Anyway I'm in love with this app, I'm so glad I saw it suggested because I never found it listed on other websites. It's truly amazing and I really won't miss Medisafe and their paywalling all but two of my medications bullshit.

GUYS. This is BIG. This is half a thousand people and this also means the next ask-a-character even is on its way, but I need help in figuring it out. I’ve already done basically everyone in the cast - humans, angels, demons… - there’s basically nobody left! So I’m making a poll to help you help me. I will check the final result a week from now (Currently still on vacation and I plan on using socials as little as possible) and then I’ll see what I can do.
