Hey,

I hope this doesn't come across as rude or anything, I'm really not trying to be, but… since there's been no news regarding Prague Race for several years at this point and with the comic's website domain down (and therefore no official archive), if it's not going to continue in any form, can we maybe get a rough outline of what was supposed to happen in the rest of the story? I really want to know what happened to Leona, Colin and Miko. I know they were beloved characters to many others beside me, and we've been without closure ever since you announced it would continue in book form. I want to know what PRAGUE RACE is!! What was that about the Prague Race collection Pikokai talked about? What's up with Death and cats? And what does it have to do with Leona?

There are just… still so many questions. I know you won't finish the webcomic, and I don't hold it against you. Your blog post explained pretty well your reasons for it and I understand. But please, if you could just give us Prague Race some closure, I know we would all appreciate it.

As a side question, would you be opposed to fanfic about the rest of the story?

Prague Race will be made into an e-book! I answer this same ask every month, I should probably make an FAQ about it!! and a rough outline can be done BUT

Thanks for your reply, I'll look forward to your amazing work! I promise this is the last I ever speak on the subject, but since Prace will truly never be finished, do you feel like telling how it would have ended? What does the word Prague race mean? Does Leona truly die? Do they ever return home? Was there any romance? I don't want you to feel pressured, you can tell me to bugger off and keep it a delicious mystery forever, but I just have to ask. You are my fave artist, bless your imagination

I DON’T REMEMBER ANY MORE... I know that leona dies, and colin and miko get back to the real world (and leona stays with them until the end as a ghost, looking after her boys) and they live a long, happy life and miko opens a bakery (and he’s still a werewolf LOL) and i think they’re aware that leona’s spirit is with them somehow? in a vague way?and  prague race was a name for the line of products?? like the harvester and.. the ring pikokai had i think... they were probably made by the death themself if i remember correctly (death was also the character in the prologue that resurrected gabriele) i don’t honestly remember... i don’t think there was gonna be any romance because i had to cut a lot off of it! this was more a story about friendship than love. i remember that toska is super gay and had things going on with a lot of people lol, miko might have had a thing going on with some girl??? and colin idk, tahvo did ask leona out at some point and i think they had fun but decided to stay as friends, and leona had eyes for the deergirl (which made me mad and drove me to write tiger, tiger instead lol) but anyhoo i decided to publish this ask instead so all the ppl can see it who want to, and the reason i took prace offline was that i wanted to explore some of the characters still and decided to make a new story where you might see some familiar concept from the prace. i didn’t want people to think it was a “spin off” of prague race and also wanted to prevent people from going through it, looking for spoilers when the new comic kicks off! because they will be nothing alike. so yall i hope you understand and please respect that decision. prace might go online again some day far off the future! but first i gotta finish the pitch for this new fantasy adventure comic with dragons and trolls and thieves and heists and political intrigue and evil families trying to rule over the world...

She is a very loyal young elven "lady", who has known both toska and tavho's since they were children and has helped them through a lot. She unlike most elves has taken a liking to the colors purple and black. She hangs out with tavho more often and helps him watch Alex (another O.C) she is very brave and doesn't take shit from anyone. She unlike most elven girls is quite a tomboy and almost never hangs out with her fellow elves. She is a sharp shot with a bow and arrow and isn't to bad with a sword either. She is usually very mysterious and almost never takes her mask off unless she is around her friends and usually acts pretty awesome when their around. She has a small potion shop that she runs just inside town. She is the only one of toska and tavho's friends that sela has ever actually liked having around, as she helps keep an eye on everyone. She was abandoned by her parents because they believed she was cursed since they were both blonde with forest green eyes and she had black hair and lavender eyes. She was born in veineta and grew up the hard way, even though she was born an elven princess. To both tavho and toska she's like the middle sibling between the two and is the only one of their friends sela truly appreciates having around. She was raised on the streets learning from those around her and begging off those who were kind enough to give her a few coins or some food scraps every now and again hiding in nearby trees at night, when one lucky day she was in a tree in an area where most kids in veineta hung out during the day when she was nearly knocked from her perch by a land-shark fin, and she looked down to find younger versions of sela and fishsticks sitting down at the base of the tree and younger versions of toska and tavho running of to play with the other children and she went down to join the pair and they have been friends ever since. How she got her mask is an odd story, she was walking about one day begging for coins or food whichever she needed most at the time, when she was walking by an alleyway when her mask fell out of the sky and landed at her feet, when she looked up she saw pikokais ship on its first flight just above her almost completely hidden in the clouds. She excels in potion making and is excellent with a bow and arrow. She is very flexible and fast. She's not too bad with a sword or dagger either. She doesn't get scared easily,however she doesn't like having to wash dishes because it feels and looks gross...and due to her sensitive sense of hearing loud noises do freak her out a bit.

Appearance: a pale young elven lady with black hair and purple eyes often seen wearing a black and purple dress with matching shoes and mask.

So yeah upon reflection copying and pasting every single page of the comic  into my posts is exhausting and sort of pointless? So I’m going to just link to the first page I am reading in this post and then do my overly structured “one bit of text for each and every page” thing without images.

Pam, why is Pikokai suddenly an acquaintance of yours? I do not recall it being previously indicated, and the information would probably have been useful during the planning of Colins rescue.

Nifty, magic clothes. Although I don’t imagine they have a built in binder, as easy as that would no doubt be to accomplish with all the spatial fuckery going on in this world. Is Miko going to bring the binder situation up? In that case we might get an actual explicit discussion about gender in this world, which would be rad and interesting.

“Survive” is maybe a bit bleak as terminology goes. Of course she doesn’t know that Miko is almost certainly still planning to head back home to his own world. I suppose there might be some “I can’t return now that I am a monster” angst, but I trust Miko to be rational enough to get over it. For that matter how is Pam going to react to the revelation that there is a only somewhat inconvenient uncontrolled door to the human world.

Seriously Pam how are you so familiar with this place. And do you just mean turning back into humanoid form, or are werewolves also at risk of becoming “feral” to some degree? It could really go either way considering the mythology.

Ah, makes sense. It sucks, and I don’t doubt the government makes woefully little effort to help anyone with their troubles in a way that is at all constructive, but it makes sense. Also Pam is an excited lycanthropy nerd and it’s a delight.

What the heck could Leona possibly have done in this short a time to get a reputation for being creepy? It doesn’t even seem particularly in character for her, she’s more uncomfortably enthusiastic and emotionally immature than creepy.

Leona you are being quite aggressively smug right now, I feel like it is maybe not super appropriate. Also assuming Gabby is who you lost, shouldn’t you be more worried? I mean yes everyone seems to scared of cats to hurt him, but you shouldn’t know that.

Leona, are you feeling ok? Your expression bears an uncanny resemblance to that of a certain mask, and the harvester warping you more than it already has would be most unwelcome. Also you’re scaring the poor gossiper.

Ah, I had suspected something similar. And now that I think about it Toska made it pretty clear he was scared of Gabby a while back, and it’s not unlikely someone else did the same while they were on their way to the bar. I’m not familiar with cats being associated with death though, so this is bound to be interesting.

Considering the scissor reaper has been hanging around Gabby as well, I take it this is true of Earth cats as well. Although presumably not in a way that is traditionally detectable, since cats haven’t all been whisked away into the magical world to keep up the masquerade. But if the reapers are attracted to cats because they can(in a sense) die multiple times, does that mean that death in general is feared for reasons other than the traditional?

So are reapers genuinely drawn to those that discuss them, or is this more of a superstition dealie? And anyways isn’t any group of nine people just as dangerous as a cat given your explanation? I mean I can accept that scary death reapers hang around cats for whatever reason but your explanation seems pretty flawed.
