The subway on a weekday morning was something you knew you’d never get used to. Everyone in a rush to get somewhere yet somehow nobody was moving even remotely fast. It was a miracle you’d gotten on a train and not just swept away by a mudslide of office workers. Heading into work you made you was straight to the elevators and back up to the third floor. Today you would be assigned to a department of the paper, and the anticipation was making you nervous. Unlike yesterday you were slightly early and where shocked to find you were the first one there. Taking a seat inside the conference room you were told to meet at, you pulled out your phone and began scrolling Instagram.
“I’ve never understood the obsession with social media,” A unfamiliar voice broke the silence, and you jumped slightly putting your phone down, “My apologies I thought you heard me come in.” Wanda smirked walking towards the other end of the long table, placing down some files, before walking back towards you. “I thought the paper was branching out into social media content?” Your voice came out a little higher than usual. Wanda stopped behind you placing a hand on your shoulder and giving it a light squeeze “We are… but that has nothing to do with me.” She said with a laugh before leaving the room.
It wasn’t long before the rest of the interns showed up along with Dr Banner, as he told you to call him, who you’d met yesterday. He looked to be around fifty with greying hair and a permanently sad expression. One of the first things he’d done was list his multiple degrees and explain how he’d ended up working here as an environmental science editor. The Westview Paper was one of the oldest most prestigious news sources in the country, maybe even the world. It had been in the Maximoff family since the 1950s, now being run by Wanda since her father’s retirement. Today you would find out what department you would be interning in for the next six months. Dr Banner handed out an envelope to each intern, rambling on about how pointlessly dramatic this all was and how he had other more important things to do than this. Everyone was quick to open their envelopes, the wait was just too much.
Your file read ‘Sports and Fitness’ in bold at the top. You’d been on the women’s basketball team in college and had spoken about it in your interview, you loved sports so this should be a perfect fit, but you couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed, she hadn’t picked you. “Lads look, I’m Wanda’s intern!” You turn to see Theo, who in this moment you decided you hated, holding up his file to the room looking far too smug. “I guess that proves I’m the alpha here.” You didn’t even entertain him with forced laughter like the others, you simply grabbed your bag and file and left to find a quiet spot to read. You discovered you’d be working for Pietro Maximoff, a quick google search told you that was Wanda’s brother and the head of that department. The file told you everything that would be expected of you over the next few months, some big and small goals as well as a weekly schedule that by the look of didn’t have you meeting with Pietro for a few hours.
To kill time, you decided to have a wonder around the building, the tour yesterday had given you a better understanding of the layout, but you still weren’t confident you could get from a to b without getting a little lost. Round every was another impossibly long corridor lined with doors and window into almost identical rooms that occasionally showed signs of life. As you rounded what must have been the fifth corner you saw a now familiar red head seemingly yelling at a room of men in suits. You stopped walking unsure whether to turn back or keep going like you hadn’t seen anything but before you could react the door to the room opened and the men hurried out, their heads held low like children after being told off. Your eyes went back to the room where Wanda stood, eyes closed, taking several slow deep breaths. Deciding it would be best to leave before you stumble upon something else you weren’t meant to see you turned around only to be stopped by Wanda calling your name.
“Y/n, what are you doing here?” It was hard to read her tone, and a pit formed in your stomach worried you’d upset her. “I was just… familiarising myself with the building. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to.” You stumbled all over your words. “I should go I need to meet Pietro soon and I…” Wanda’s eyes lit up and a smile graced her face “Of course you’re his intern, why don’t I walk you?” You tried to politely refuse her offer, not wanting to be a bother, but she out right refused to take no for an answer, especially after you let it slip you didn’t know where his office was. Turns out it wasn’t far, one floor down and across the walkway and you where there.
The sports department was unlike the other places you been shown so far. It was lively with open plan desks, no cubicles or grey walls, instead hanging around the room was a variety of different countries flags and sports team memorabilia. The staff talked freely amongst themselves; you expected the noise to die down when Wanda entered but it didn’t. You watched her talk with them and share a joke or two, a stark contrast to the rage you’d seen her display moments ago. “Now where is he?” She asked the man she’d been talking to.
“Wanda!” You heard an excited voice call from across the room, “Wands! I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about this side of the building. We’re still being published right?” Pietro’s smile was the same as Wanda’s, warm with a slight hint of mischief. He was much taller than her, with bleach blonde hair and light stubble. “This must be y/n? Great to finally put a face to the name.” He said giving you a playful tap to the arm. “Look Wands I would love to catch up, but I need to get y/n settled.”
“Actually, there is something I need to talk to you about, but we need to discuss that in private. Can I steel you at some point tomorrow?”
“Yeah sure, you have my schedule so let me know when you are free.”
With that Wanda gave you both a smile and left.
Pietro made fast work of the power point he has prepared, and you were glad to hear business wear wasn’t mandatory in his department. Which was a relief as you only had two formal shirts and you’d already worn both. He sent you home early after reassuring you the missing hours wouldn’t come out of your wages and any disappointment over Wanda not picking you was gone. You were going to really enjoy having him for a boss.
The rest of the week went by quickly, you had so much work to be getting on with and so many people to get to know. Your desk was right by Pietro’s so he could keep an eye on you and help you when you needed it. You looked at the clock, it was quarter to five already, almost time to go home for the weekend. That was something you were excited about. This internship only had you working Monday to Friday, that meant you had the whole weekend to yourself. As you hit save for the last time on what you were working on you heard the door on the far end of the room open and looked up to see Wanda followed closely by Theo.
“Hi, Pietro, this is Theo, Theo this is my brother, Pietro. Y/n, you remember Theo, don’t you?” You nodded and watched as the two men shook hands. Yes, you did remember Theo, how could you forget a man that reminded you of all your high school bullies rolled into one and served with a silver spoon. “What do we owe the pleasure?” Pietro asked playfully.
“Oh, you know, just making the rounds, checking on all the new recruits at the end of the first week.”
“We are? I thought you said you needed to check on something important?” Theo said obliviously and Wanda gave a nervous laugh. “The wellbeing of my employees is important Theo. Now y/n how have you been?” You tried and failed to meet Wanda’s eyes as she gave you her full attention. “Good.” Was all you could squeeze out; you didn’t understand why she still made you so nervous. “He hasn’t been working you too hard has he.” Her voice was light and had the same playful tone as Pietro’s. Finally, you found it in you to look her in face and were surprised to see a slight blush that almost matched your own. “No, he hasn’t.” you said leaving an awkward silence in the air. “Well, we better head off, enjoy your weekend, and I’ll see you Monday.” Without another word Wanda left, Theo once again following closely behind.
It wasn’t long before the excitement and novelty of your new job wore off and all you longed for was the weekend. You’d gotten to know lots more faces around the office, even the lady at the front desk. You learnt her name was Pam and she wasn’t a huge bitch like you initially thought, she was just going through a divorce and her ex-husband, Jerry, was the worst. Somehow, you’d managed to develop a sense of normalcy working in this place. The only thing that kept you on edge were the surprise visits Wanda would do to the department; she was always finding a reason to come down here. Most made sense, like visiting her brother, checking on what stories were being published, but other times it felt like she was going out of her way to poke her head in seemingly just to talk to you, which hadn’t gotten easier yet.
Earlier today, while waiting for a copy of an article she’d tried to start a conversation with you. “I like your t-shirt.” Wanda said as she sat on your desk. “t-thanks, I like your blouse it’s… pink?” You said in return, unsure what to say. “What does it say? Radio head? I didn’t think young people listened to the radio these days.” She said lightly grazing her fingers across your arm. “Oh, Radio Head are a band… like music and stuff.” You shifted awkwardly in your chair, turning back to focus on your work. Pietro returned with the article and Wanda got up and left, giving you a light pat on the back as she walked past you.
The memory of that encounter played on your mind as you got ready to leave work for the day. “Y/n! Hey, I need to head to a meeting, I know you’re about to go home but can you go upstairs to Wanda’s office and drop this off? She needs to approve it before it goes to print.” Pietro handed you the latest copy of the sports news magazine, Wanda was big on seeing the final product physically before it was sent of to print so you agreed to drop it off in her office. She was never there anyway, far too busy to sit down with the election cycle going on. You headed to the lift pressing the very top button to take you all the way to the thirteenth floor, Pietro had given you his ID to get clearance to do so. Once the elevator doors opened, you walked into what looked like a living room, but what was just a very fancy looking wating area. There was a door to the left you assumed to be a bathroom and two large doors straight ahead that must lead to her office. You thought about whether to just leaving the magazine on the coffee table but before you could the large doors swung open.
“I don’t care who his father is! I’ve had enough of him! Who does he think he is anyway selling information to…” Wanda stopped her tirade when she saw you standing there with an expression of shock on your face. “Y/n? What are you doing up here?” She slightly snapped at you.
“Pietro told me to give you this.” You held out the magazine visibly trembling. “I’m sorry Ms Maximoff, I didn’t know you’d be here.” You voice shook slightly as you tried to stay calm while rapidly pressing the elevator button. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to, I’m leaving now.” The doors finally opened, and you hurried inside. “Y/n wait I didn’t mean to…” Wanda’s words were cut off by the doors closing as the lift took you back to the second floor. Breathing heavily, you tried to calm yourself down. You should have just dropped of the magazine and gotten out of there. Why must you always get yourself in these types of situations? You hoped it would be a while before you’d next see Wanda, maybe she would have forgotten all about it by then. Realising you were still clutching the magazine; you headed back to the sports department. Placing it on Pietro’s desk, along with his ID, you wrote a post-it note apologising, hoping he wouldn’t be too disappointed with you. All you could think about on your commute home was how angry Wanda looked over whatever it was she was yelling about. It scared you how she can be so warm and friendly one second then completely switch the next. Sometimes you forgot how rich and powerful she really was.
Once inside your apartment you kicked off your shoe’s and sat down on your mattress now being held up by your nice new bedframe. The money you’d earned from this job was improving your life greatly. You’d bought a new pair of trainers without having to wait for your current ones to be falling apart. If this mistake today ended up costing you your job, you’d never forgive yourself. Taking out your phone you decided to take your mind off things by clearing out some work emails you hadn’t gotten around to today but at the top of your inbox was a new message sent only five minutes ago. It was addressed to all the interns and marked urgent.
The subject read: ‘Meeting tomorrow 9am, Floor: 3 Room: 24B’. A new wave of panic washed over you when you saw it was sent by Wanda.

Fallin' All In You (Part 4) - Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You’ve known Wanda Maximoff since you were children. She was the shy and exceptionally beautiful twin sister of your best friend, Pietro. For the most part, you two never interacted, but that changes when against your better judgment, you begin to develop feelings for the girl.
Warnings: Cursing
Word count: 5,945
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
///////////////////////////////////////////////
BZZZ! BZZZ! BZZZ!
The phone buzzed, calling for your attention for the thousandth time, and you reached for it impatiently only to drop it as quickly at the sight of the contents; only non-important social media notifications, not the text you were anxiously waiting for from Wanda.
Much to your disappointment, your busy schedule left you no time alone with Wanda after the party. Anytime you spent together was with your friend groups. The one time you had a study session, Pietro interrupted before you could finish a paragraph.
Similarly, your increasingly intense soccer practices took up your time as you approached the championship. In the following game, your team made an hour trip for a match, tying 2-to-2. You kept true to your word, scoring on a penalty in the game's last minutes.
Despite your resolve to ask Wanda out, your busy schedule interfered with your plans and ultimately caused you to chicken out. It gave you enough time to dwell on the repercussions dating Wanda would cause in your relationship with Pietro.
Although you were sure she reciprocated your feelings, Pietro's opinion weighed heavily on your next step. Would it be strange if his best friend dated his sister? Undoubtedly, there would be some consequences on your relationship. No brother wants to hear their friends gush over their sister. Moreover, despite his easy-going nature, Pietro had always been overprotective of Wanda, and you were sure you would not be the exception to his threats.
Your brain hurt from all the overthinking; you weren't ready to deal with it. However, that did not mean distancing yourself from Wanda was an option. On the contrary, her proximity quelled the raging storm in your head. For now, you were content in being in her proximity, feeding off her soothing personality.
Which is why the lack of time alone had made you nearly desperate for the brunette. As soon as your schedule settled, you quickly made plans with Wanda to watch Pride & Prejudice. Per your suggestion, you were watching the film at your house to prevent distractions from Pietro. You loved Pietro but wouldn't let him intrude on your time with Wanda. You would be determined to watch this incredibly romantic film with Wanda without interruptions.
You eagerly awaited Wanda's arrival, bouncing around your room, making sure everything was in place. You placed the remaining snacks on the nightstand when your phone buzzed again. This time, the message you had been awaiting arrived.
Wanda: I'm here
You checked your window as Wanda exited her mother's car, and before she could reach the lawn, you raced downstairs, stopping at the front door. You fumbled, straightening out your clothes, and flung open the door, coming face to face with Wanda.
"Hey!" She greeted, looking at you with a twinkle in her eyes.
"Hi," you replied lower, but not from lack of excitement, instead dazzled by the woman.
You led Wanda inside, taking her to your room as your heart thrummed violently in your chest. You felt exposed, letting her into your personal space, yet not in an unsettling manner. Rather eager to show her more of yourself. Wanda, for her part, appreciated your willingness to allow her into your safe space.
The both of you settled on your bed, shoulders brushing against eachother. Although you have reached a new level of intimacy at the party, you haven't held hands since then, but even so, the proximity felt natural.
Even before the film began, you knew you would be in the same predicament as the theater. It had been difficult to concentrate then, but seeing Wanda so enthralled by the plot, reciting her favorite lines, warmed your heart. Or hearing Darcy declare his affections to Elizabeth when all you wanted was to declare your own, but alas, you weren't as brave as Darcy. Not yet, at least.
You feel you have reached your limit as the film neared the end; Dary reiterates his love for Elizabeth, hoping her feelings have changed. You were a ticking time bomb, overwhelmed with the need to reach out to Wanda as you watched a gleaming tear strolling down her face. You think you see a look of longing, but you're not sure because Wanda unexpectedly lowers her head to your shoulder, causing your heart to jackhammer in your chest and to lose any sense of rationality.
You were a complete mess.
You forced your eyes shut and resisted holding your breath in an effort to calm yourself. You just hoped Wanda didn't notice your tense posture because you would be fucked if she did. You had zero experience with romantic feelings, and having them for your best friend's sister did not make it any easier.
It took you a while to compose yourself entirely, but when you did, you opened your eyes to the ending scene, followed by the credits. Wanda straightened herself and turned to you with a smile, a question burning in her eyes.
"What do you think? Did it meet your expectations?"
You chuckled nervously, running a hand through your hair. "Uh yeah, it was uh- it was really good," you lied, knowing damn well it was the last thing on your mind.
Wanda smirked with a raised eyebrow, "Really? You seem hesitant."
"No! It's just that it's different from what I usually watch. But honestly, I did enjoy it. Easily one of my favorite movie sessions," you assured her, this time telling her the truth. You did enjoy your time, but only because she was there.
"Well then, I'm glad you liked it. It's one of my favorites. Now that we're friends, we can have movie nights."
You nodded eagerly at her suggestion, reassuringly placing your hand on her knee, "I would love that."
She beamed at you, placing her own hand over your own. As your gazes interlocked, your resistance wore thin, even more so than before.
Only when a thunderous boom resounded in the distance, the two of you looked away, jumping in place. Neither of you had noticed the drizzle that had begun while the film played. Wanda had been too entrapped in the film, and you in her to pay any care.
"Why don't I take you home before it worsens. We can do the essay another day," you suggest.
"No, I don't think it will last. Let's do it right now so we don't have homework for the weekend."
You obliged, and you began working on the writing portion of the assignment. However, it wasn't long before Wanda started to regret not accepting your suggestion. The steady drizzle transformed into pouring rain, and the thunder had only gotten closer with each clash as bright flashes illuminated the sky. The strong winds clashed against the house, and it groaned in protest.
One look at the weather page, and you knew you were wrong. It wasn't a quick storm; it would rain bricks the entire night.
You knew you couldn't drive Wanda home in those conditions, and you would hate to bother anyone else when there was a simple solution. You just needed the courage to voice your thoughts.
"You know, uh, it's only going to get worse out there," you hesitated momentarily, aimlessly flipping through your notebook, "I was thinking that maybe you should stay the night."
"Oh," her surprised tone caused you to raise your gaze at her, gasping like a fish out of water, "I appreciate the offer, Y/N, but I wouldn't want to bother."
You chuckled. "Wanda, I promise you, you could never bother me. So come on, stay with me tonight," you pleaded, giving her the best puppy dog eyes you could manage.
Wanda remained unconvinced, but another deafening rumble resolved any hesitation as she surrendered to your pleas.
You grinned, pleased with yourself. "Perfect. The guest room is being renovated, so you can take my bed. I can sleep on the floor," you offered, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.
"How about you stay on your bed, and I'll sleep on the floor," Wanda countered decisively, but you weren't willing to give up.
"Then, we'll both sleep on the floor."
Wanda raised an eyebrow, unamused at your idiotic suggestion, and shook her head, "In that case, we can both sleep on the bed. It's big enough."
Your heart skipped a beat at the thought of sharing a bed with Wanda. "You sure?" She nodded. "Alright, I'll have my mom call your mom."
Before going to bed, you lent Wanda some comfortable clothing. You thought she looked incredible, even in your old baggy t-shirt and shorts, a sight for sore eyes. Truthfully, you hadn't considered the entire thing through because even after the room was engulfed with darkness and you had said your goodnights, her emanating warmth beside you made your stomach flutter. You could tell Wanda had fallen asleep by her peaceful rhythmic breathing. You recall her telling you she slept best with the pitter-patter lulling her into the dream world.
In any other instance, you would have fallen into bed like a rock, but now, all you could focus on was the brunette. Wanda had started on her side but turned to lay on her back, head tilted slightly so you could see her relaxed expression. You had briefly glimpsed her sleep the day they arrived and were left captivated, yet now you could stare unabashedly at the opinion of others. The moonlight shining through the window illuminated her soft features, and you were entranced by her beauty.
Temptation brewed in the air, and you succumbed without a second thought as you softly brushed the pad of your thumb over her cheek. She looked angelic, you mused as you traced her jawline. Another thunderous clap resonated outside, breaking the spell you had fallen into as you halted your movements. Instant shame flooded your body at your audacious actions. You were such a creep, you thought to yourself as you realized how wrong it all felt.
You dropped your hand and shut your eyes with a shaky sigh, willing yourself to sleep. As you focused on Wanda's breathing, you found the task easier, and it wasn't long before you found rest.
It wasn't until the Sun's burning glare settled on your face that you awakened. Slowly but surely, you regained your senses, realizing a heavyweight was pressed against your chest while your nose was buried in a delicious smell. Gradually, you opened your scrunched eyes only to be met with the image of the brunette-haired girl wrapped around you.
Confusion washed over you, and your hazed mind panicked until you recalled the events of the night before. A wave of heat coursed through your body as you grasped that the girl in your arms was none other than Wanda Maximoff.
Wanda Maximoff is your best friend's sister and the girl you were crushing on.
A part of you was overjoyed with the angelic sight you had awakened to, but the aftermath was what worried you. You were frightened of rousing the sleeping beauty only to face the most awkward situation ever.
Carefully, you began to untangle your bodies, leaving Wanda comfortable. Then, from a safe distance, you took the opportunity to openly admire her angelic features. Your stomach turned at her barely noticeable freckles and slightly ajar lips, and you couldn't contain the dopey smile when she scrunched her nose in her sleep. A beauty unlike any other.
You reached over to brush away a few rebel hair strands over her face but quickly retreated when Wanda shuffled. It was your cue to stop being a creep. You reached for your phone, checked the time, and noticed you had awakened a few minutes earlier than your alarm.
Unwillingly, you got out of bed and prepared for work, ensuring you did not wake Wanda. You had told Wanda you would give her a ride home before work, but seeing her so peaceful changed your plans. You made your way into the kitchen, making breakfast, seeing as your mother wasn't up yet.
In record time, you made pancakes, eggs, and bacon. It wasn't that you were trying to impress Wanda with your cooking skills… okay, maybe you were.
"Morning, sweetie," your mother's voice greeted you. You had already finished your plate and were serving your mothers.
"Morning."
"Where's Wanda?" She questioned, scanning the house.
"She was really tired, so I'm letting her sleep in. Can you take her home when you go to work?"
"Of course, sweetie."
"I left her some food, too. Could you just plate it when she wakes up?" you looked at her pleadingly.
She nodded and gave you that same grin from the other night. Before she could comment, you decided to leave. "Thanks, mom. I'll see you later." You waved goodbye.
You arrived at work at 7:30 am, half an hour before opening, to prepare for the day. Before entering the building, you sent Wanda a message.
Y/N: Morning, Wanda! Sorry for not waking you up. You looked so tired, so I decided to let you sleep in. I asked my mom to drive you home, so don't worry.
Working in a flower shop was fantastic; you mostly took orders and cleaned. The owner, Meredith, was training you on arranging flower assortments, so you came earlier than needed in the mornings. Though you worked 9 long hours, it felt like nothing to you. To you, being around nature's beauty was nearly paradise.
There were a few hours left until your shift ended. You were taking a phone order when you noticed a familiar brunette entering the flower shop. She strolled in curiously, observing the shop and inhaling the delicious flower scents. When she caught you staring, she narrowed her eyes and tilted her head, and you had to divert your gaze to avoid stuttering while on the phone call.
When you finish placing the order, the girl is already leaning against the counter, waiting patiently for you to address her.
"What are you doing here? Are you following me?" You crossed your arms, raising an eyebrow accusingly.
She scoffed, rolling her eyes dramatically, "Always so egotistical. I'm obviously here for the flowers." She waved her hand around to make her point.
"Mhm, sure." You tapped your pen to your chin.
Wanda shook her head with a huff, feigning annoyance. She pursed her lips, taking the pen away from you to set it down. "You weren't there when I woke up this morning." She tapped her fingers on the counter, "Thank you for breakfast, by the way."
"You could've texted if that's what you wanted to say," you teased with a smug smile, loving the blush that covered her cheeks.
"You need to get your ears cleaned, Y/N. I told you I'm here for the flowers. Complementing your cooking was my charity work of the day," Wanda commented offhandedly.
"See, I don't know why you thought you wouldn't fit in with Pietro and me. This is basically all we do, passive-aggressively insult eachother and stuff." You furrowed your eyebrows. "Alright, It's me making fun of Pietro, but I guess it's only fair that I get my turn. It's time for me to be humbled, ya know?"
Wanda stared at you unbelievingly as if you had grown a second head. "Personally, I'm glad I didn't. What if I ended up as stupid as the both of you?" She shuddered at the thought. You decided not to comment, knowing your and Pietro's intelligence was questionable. "When did you start working here?"
"During the summer. I worked Monday through Friday, but now it's only Saturday and Sunday. The shop owner is a family friend, so she had no problem adjusting to my schedule," you tell her, spotting one of your regular customers walk through the door. You motioned to Wanda to wait as you went into the back room to retrieve one of the flower arrangements.
"Good evening, Jenna!" You greeted the older woman enthusiastically. Jenna was one of your favorite customers. Even though she was in her late fifties, she had some of the best adventure stories from when she and her wife traveled the world.
"Evening, Y/N," she returned joyfully, setting a tray on the counter. "Lisa and I made brownies last night. I thought you and Mer would like to have some."
"Well, you thought correct. You know that I love Lisa's baking." You emphasized her partner's name, knowing she did the baking. She rolled her eyes at your comment, finally noticing Wanda, who stood patiently to the side.
"Well, hello, there. Y/N, don't be rude and introduce us."
"Sorry, Jenna, this is Wanda and Wanda, this is Jenna." You motioned to each one as you said their names.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Wanda. Oh, God, I love your boots- actually, I love your everything," Jenna complemented, eyeing Wanda. Jenna was a photographer and probably thought Wanda would be a great model. Of course, you would agree with her.
Wanda bashfully smiled at Jenna. "Likewise, and thank you."
"So are the two of you…?" She dragged on, glancing between both of you.
"Friends!" You and Wanda nearly yelled at the same time. You felt your body burn in embarrassment at the insinuation, and one look at Wanda let you know she felt the same way.
"Mhm, okay," she said with a smirk, sounding like she didn't believe either of you. "It was nice meeting you, Wanda, but I have to go. Y/N my flowers, please." You did as asked, handing her a customized bouquet. "Thank you. See you next week, Y/N. Bye, Wanda." You both watched the woman walk out of the shop.
"That was something," you remarked, trying to ease the tension.
"Yeah. You two seem close." Wanda eyes the brownies longingly. You chuckled, taking one of the napkins on the tray and offering one to her. "Thanks."
"Uhm, Jenna comes by every Saturday to buy flowers for Lisa, her wife. It's adorable."
"That is adorable. I wonder what that feels like, getting flowers, you know?" She asked while munching on the brownie. "This tastes amazing."
"Nobody's ever gotten you flowers? Not even that Jarvis guy?" You inquired, ignoring her comment on the brownie. You found it hard to believe that no one had ever given Wanda flowers when she was so beautiful. It was a crime.
With crumbs on the corner of her lips, Wanda shook her head dejectedly, confirming, "No. Why do you look surprised?"
You froze like a deer caught in headlights, startled by the sudden call to your reaction. You started to think you needed to school your features better because everyone could clearly see through you, especially when it pertained to Wanda. But this was by far the worst time for it to happen. You could not admit to Wanda that you thought she was the most gorgeous girl to exist, so instead, you gapped like a fish out of water, racking your brain for an excuse.
"I- Well, you're, you know-"
"No, I don't know, Y/N." She seemed entertained by your loss for words.
"What I meant to say is that you're p-"
Wanda's phone rings, saving you from the embarrassment of your life.
"It's my dad. Just give me a moment." She walked away to answer the call, and you let go of the breath you were holding in.
That was a close one. You needed to make it your goal to stop yourself from getting into a compromising situation. Unfortunately, the intent didn't last long as you got an idea remembering Wanda's sad expression when admitting to having never received flowers.
Going into the backroom, you take the few skills you have as a junior florist to pull together a bouquet of flowers. Two sunflowers to signify your adoration, a few gardenias, and pink camellias. You knew the meaning of each flower, and with a simple search on the internet, so would Wanda. But this was the best way to express your feelings for her without making a fool out of yourself. It also gave you an escape route because you could always say you confused flowers or thought they were aesthetically pleasing, so you decided it didn't matter.
To your luck, Meredith passed by as you gave the bouquet the finishing touches, trying to make it as pleasing to the eye as possible.
"My lessons are paying off. Those look stunning, Y/N. So who's the customer?" She touched the petals of the camellias, admiring the variations.
"I am."
She looked at you with a knowing smile, "The lovely brunette girl you were chatting with earlier?" You groaned, tired of everyone's teasing, already leaving the room with the flowers, only to hear, "Ah, young love."
When you returned to the reception area, Wanda was still on the phone, but she glanced at you from her place, and you rushed to keep the flowers out of her sight. The longer she took, the more nervous you became, beginning to doubt yourself, but before completely discarding the idea, Wanda returned with a playful sigh.
"Apparently, Pietro told Papa I didn't sleep at home last night and forgot to tell him I stayed with you. I swear he did it on purpose."
"He did."
She eyed you suspiciously, noticing your fidgeting. "You seem… tense."
"You know how you told me you've never gotten flowers. So I thought since you know I work at a flower shop, I should do something about that." She looked at you curiously as you reached down and pulled the bouquet out, further baffling her.
"What?"
"These are for you." You timidly offered the bunch of flowers.
"What?" She repeated mindlessly, causing you to giggle.
You took her hand and guided it to the flowers so she could hold them, "I'm giving you flowers, Wanda," You voiced softly without breaking eye contact.
Her eyes ricocheted between the flowers and yours, and her lips hung open, trying to make sense of your words. There was no way she had heard you correctly. Are you trying to prank her? She searched your eyes for any sign that you were mocking her, but all she wound was anxiousness and sincerity. Your emotions were so raw that she could feel her heart swell at your gesture.
"I- Thank you, Y/N. These are beautiful." Her voice was so soft, cracking with emotion, and caused you to shiver in delight. Thankfully, she was too busy shoving her nose into the fragrant plants to notice anything, but you do see the solitary tear that slipped from her eyes. Or you think you do because she is beaming at you the following moment with a bright smile that could replace the Sun. "You know you didn't have to give me flowers to make me feel better."
"I know. I wanted to."
She beamed at you, setting the flowers on the counter and embracing you with force. The same smile remained as she left the store, and you felt reinvigorated by her visit as you went back to work.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
You found yourself at the mall with Natasha after a tedious day at school and a canceled soccer practice on Monday. You sat in the food court enjoying the sweet and savory ice cream you had purchased.
"I know," Natasha declared out of the blue, causing you to frown in confusion but continue to eat your ice cream.
"Know what?"
"You, my friend," she pointed her spoon at you, "have a crush on Wanda," she declared teasingly.
Your spoon stopped in mid-air, mouth wide in surprise. "I-I don't know what you're talking about."
She tilted her head with an incredulous look. "You're a lovesick puppy whenever you're around her, Y/N. I mean the glances, the smiles, and the game, you holding her hand at the theater, disappearing together at the party, and to top it off, she's sleeping over at your place."
You gawked at the table, unable to look at your friend or speak at all. You thought that none of your friends had noticed your behavior towards Wanda, but Natasha threw it all in your face.
"I'm just saying you've better ask her out soon because you have competition." Your eyes snapped up to her in panic, seeing a smug smile on her lips. You had given her the reaction she was hoping for. There was no more denying your feelings. "Pietro told me she came home all smiley the other day with a bundle of flowers, and she wouldn't say who gave them to her."
A sigh escaped your lips, and your tensed muscles relaxed in relief, knowing there was no one else. You had given Wanda those flowers. It was you who had caused her beaming state, no one else.
"I gave her the flowers," you admitted, looking down with flushed cheeks.
"You little shit," Natasha chuckled. "You're really in love with her, aren't you?"
"In love? I don't- I don't know. I just know I really like her." Truthfully, you hadn't considered being in love with Wanda; romantic feelings were new to you after all.
"What's important is that you have feelings for her, Y/N, and you need to do something soon. Wanda is a gorgeous girl, and someone else might beat you to the punch." You knew she was right, but fear of the unknown grasped at your heart, locking in your feelings. Thinking of your moments together, you knew it was worth the risk.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Your conversation with Natasha from the previous day replayed in your head the entire day. The thoughts were so loud that they distracted you from school and during soccer practice. All the deep thought had led you to a resolution. You couldn't wait any longer and risk losing Wanda for fear. You would talk to Pietro and go from there. This is why you were headed to the Maximoff household after Pietro invited you to play video games. Arriving, you noticed the twin's newly gifted car was gone, and you deducted Wanda went out. It would just be you and Pietro.
You anxiously knocked on the door, mentally preparing yourself to confess to Pietro, but it wasn't Pietro with whom you came face to face as the door opened.
"Oh, hey, Wanda," you greeted, confused.
"Y/N." She moved to the side so you could come in.
"Is Pietro here?"
"You just missed him. He said he was going to the store and wouldn't be gone long."
"Oh, do you mind if I wait for him here?"
You headed for the couch, but Wanda's hand stopped you. "Come on. You can wait for him in my room." She pulled you by your arm into said room.
Wanda sat on her bed and motioned for you to join her, so you did. Soft, low music filled the room as she carefully moved her pencil through the sketchbook page.
"What are you doing?" You asked, fumbling with your fingers in an attempt to soothe your nerves.
"Sketching," she replied without looking at you, continuing her drawing.
"Don't stop on my account." You lowered yourself to lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling. You remained in that position for a few seconds before tilting your head slightly to observe Wanda. Her beautiful face contorted in concentration as her green eyes narrowed and her lips pursed adorably. Your stomach fluttered, lips quivering as the words you so badly wanted to utter rested on the tip of your tongue. Waiting for a moment of frailty to penetrate your carefully constructed defenses.
Her pencil danced elegantly across the page, creating what you assumed was a graceful image. You were thoroughly entranced by anything she did.
"You're staring," Wanda commented, unmoving from her position, an amused smile on her face.
You flushed, lifting your gaze to the ceiling once again, "I wasn't staring at you. I was," you dragged, trying to think of an excuse," trying to guess what you were drawing." You cringed at your poor excuse.
"Sure, Y/N."
You shut your eyes, grinding your teeth, resisting the urge to resume your previous activity, afraid of screwing up your plan of talking to Pietro first. You don't know how long you laid there, only that the fatigue of the day's activities was settling in your body, and you knew you should probably head home. However, it was more of a challenge as Wanda's soft humming and sweet, delicate perfume engulfed you in a soothing and safe bubble, lulling you to sleep as your eyelids grew heavier and your breathing deepened.
Wanda was too engrossed to notice you had fallen unconscious until a loud sigh left your lips, drawing her gaze to your figure. Forest green eyes gently take in your peaceful features, lingering on your slightly parted lips, with tenderness taking root in her heart. The feeling contrasted with the nervousness she had felt sharing your bed the other night. Though this was different, Wanda reasoned. She had no other choice. On the other hand, you could have easily left home but instead decided to reveal your most vulnerable state to her. Maybe she was overthinking the situation, and you were too tired to leave, but regardless of the reason, Wanda couldn't help the smile that overtook her lips.
It was instinctive when her slender fingers flipped to a blank page with newfound inspiration guiding the elegant movements of her hand. The goal: to preserve the heartwarming scene bestowed upon her beyond a mere flawed memory. It was one of those scenes you encountered, and you knew you had to capture its beauty physically. It was effortless as she meticulously contoured the lines and curves of your figure, using extra care when etching your serene expression.
It's Wanda's blaring ringtone that awakened you with a start. Wanda hastily closed her sketchbook, answering her phone, as you stretched with a yawn, still lying down.
"Hey, Mom. Oh, yeah, let me check."
You watched as they spoke before Wanda got out of bed and left you alone in the room. You groaned, rubbing your eyes, sitting up afterward to check the time. You had been asleep for about nearly an hour. You guessed Pietro hadn't arrived because Wanda didn't wake you from your slumber. You rolled your eyes, annoyed at the boy who had probably run into a girl.
Your eyes wandered aimlessly around her room before landing on her sketchbook. You recalled how fully engaged Wanda had been while drawing and grew curious about what she had been working on. Wanda wouldn't mind if you looked through, right? You thought, biting your lips before grabbing the sketchbook. Even though you and Wanda had art class together, you were fascinated by her handiwork as you flipped through various pages. However, that fascination converted to shock and confusion as you turned to a particular page.
It was a beautifully detailed sketch of the upper half of a sleeping person. Despite at how marveling the drawing was, what shocked you was the face because it was just any face. It was your face. You scrunched your eyes, trying to comprehend what was happening. You vaguely remembered how quickly Wanda had closed the sketchbook when you had awoken from the ringing, and you deducted it was to prevent you from seeing the drawing.
You were still lost in your thoughts when the bedroom door opened. Wanda didn't immediately see you since she was looking down, but when she did, she stopped short, noticing her sketchbook and your expression.
She stood frozen as you stood from the bed, walking towards her and offering the sketchbook with a questioning smile. Wanda swallowed dryly before taking the sketchbook and confirming her worst suspicion you had seen the drawing.
"Y/N I- I don't was just-" She stumbled over her words, avoiding your eyes as she played with her hands. "Oh, God. I swear it's not what it seems like. Okay, maybe it is," She rambles adorably, crimson flooding her face.
You no longer care about the drawing, nor are you smiling; the exigent longing bubbling in your chest was all you could dwell on. With each passing second, it grew in size and strength until your walls could no longer remain intact. Your breathing was heavy with anticipation as your eyes glanced at Wanda's stuttering, plump pink lips before you abruptly launched forward, taking hold of her cheeks and crashing your lips onto Wanda's. Screw Pietro.
Wanda's eyes bulged, gasping against your unmoving but firm lips. You savored the feeling of her soft, gentle lips and the sweet scent that could only be hers. At that moment, you wished to spend the rest of your life kissing Wanda.
Kissing Wanda? Your eyes widened at the realization. Holy shit, you were kissing Wanda. You quickly drew away and lowered your hands as if you were burned by her skin. Knit brows adorned your face as your lips were left ajar, mortified by what you had done. It only intensified as Wanda remained frozen, and you deducted your assumptions about her feelings for you were wrong. "I-I'm so sorry, Wanda. I shouldn't have done that. I should-I should leave."
It was as if Wanda's mind had detached from her body when your lips met hers. Her mind swirled in repressed fantasies that had started the day she met you in the playground. Fantasies where you were the valiant hero who protected her from anyone who dared harm her, but that was before she grew and realized her feelings were more profound. Those childish dreams converted to ones where you would hold hands and share kisses, but shame came with age. Not of her sexuality, but for having these feelings for her brother's best friend, who would never feel the same way; she tried to repress those feelings. But here you were, eagerly kissing her.
It was a slow process, but Wanda's thoughts had cleared by the time you announced you should leave as you walked to the door. She grabbed your arm, pulled you to her, and kissed you with force, hands lifting to cup your jaw. It only took you a second to respond, moving your hands to hold her waist while you closed your eyes. Your lips moved gently and synchronously against eachother before Wanda's tongue ran over your lower lip, asking for passage, and you gladly granted it. Your tongues danced together, and you sighed in pleasure.
You only separated from each other when your lungs burned from the lack of oxygen. Wanda rested her forehead on yours as you both heaved for oxygen. Wanda's shining green eyes had a loving look when you opened your own, and you couldn't resist leaning forward to peck her lips as her thumbs rubbed at your cheeks.
Your hand raised to brush a few rebel strands of hair behind her ear, your hand lingering on her cheek with your thumb gently swiping her lower lip, her just watching your movements. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."
She chuckled, "I think it's the other way around," she teased, "I've had a crush on you since we were kids."
You frowned incredulously, recalling your childhood moments with Wanda, and suddenly her behavior made sense. The reason she avoided you and was shy when you were around.
With a smile brighter than the Sun, you asked the question you'd been dying to speak, "Will you go out on a date with me?"
"I would love to," she answered, leaning to give you another kiss.
Pietro didn't return anytime soon, and you couldn't be more grateful, seeing as you spent the time trading kisses with Wanda and cuddling on her bed.
///////////////////////////////////////////////
A/N: They finally kissed guys!!!! What do you all think? Should the wait have been longer? Honestly, slow burn kills me cause' I needed them to kiss in part two. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter!

18+ MINORS DNI
The last four years flew by, Wanda graduated from the local college as she constantly looked on Y/N's social media. Seeing she had been silent for the last two years.
"Have you heard from Y/N?" Wanda questioned her twin who sighed.
"Look Wanda, I am not going to be in the middle of this thing you have going on." He told her bluntly.
"I'm worried about her, Pietro." Wanda stated as he just shook his head.
"It's a little late now." He scoffed as he stood up from the sofa. "Also if you're wondering, Christine broke up with her and she has been in England for the past year."
"Why?" Wanda pressed as he sighed.
"Peggy is dying." He told her, tears in his eyes. "Y/N needed to be with her mom so she referred the last year of college to stay with Peggy." He watched as Wanda started up the stairs. "How you use this information is now on you Wanda. What you decide to do now will impact the two of you."
Wanda knew exactly what she needed to do. She needed to be the friend for Y/N, the friend she should have been all of those years ago. So she booked a flight to Heathrow, a one way ticket as she didn't know how long she would be there for. How long she needed to be there for.
Y/N had been staying at a hotel nearby the family home, not wanting to stay under the roof as she needed some time to herself as her Uncle and cousin would be there to help her. Y/N was shocked the moment she heard a knock on the door, opening the door unsurely to see Wanda on the other side.
"What are you doing here?" She asked her bluntly as Wanda sighed.
"I wanted to be here for you." She told her, stepping inside and dropping her bag on the floor. "Pietro told me."
"He had no right." Y/N spat as she glared at the woman before her. "I managed to get through losing my dad without you and I can sure as hell get through losing mom without you here."
"I am not going anywhere Y/N." Wanda told her softly, reaching for Y/N's hands. "I am right where I need to be." Y/N searched her eyes for any signs of regret, Y/N soon captured her lips in a hard kiss which Wanda soon pushed her away. "I am not doing this with you again Y/N." She told her sternly. "You are in a vulnerable state and I will not take advantage of you like that."
"You're not taking advantage!" Y/N yelled as Wanda watched her pace the floor before stopping and looking out of the window at the city below them. "I guess, you're right. I am not in the right mindset for that." Wanda listened as she spoke. "I guess I just, I can't lose her Wanda." For the first time in years, Wanda had seen some form of emotion in her eyes. "She is my mom, how am I supposed to go on without her. I lost my dad and that was ok I guess. I had mom and we got through it together but now, who do I have?"
"You have me." Wanda told her confidently. "I am here Y/N. I am right where I want to be. Where I need to be." Wanda stepped closer. "And I am not going anywhere." Y/N let her walls down and sobbed, Wanda opened her arms for her to hold as she cried and cried. Whispering sweet words to her and just holding her in a warm embrace as she cried.
At some point throughout the night, Wanda had moved the two towards the bed as Y/N started to lose her energy, tired from the overwhelming emotions she never wanted to feel again. She soon woke to Wanda talking lowly on the phone as she ran her hand through Y/N's hair.
"I don't think she is doing too well Piet." Wanda spoke softly, not paying too much attention to the girl in her lap looking up at her. "Yes, I am here for the long haul." Wanda scoffed at something her brother said. "No. I am not going to leave her alone. Leaving her in the first place is my biggest regret and I have to live with that."
"Hey." Y/N spoke softly as she tried to save Wanda from a conversation with her brother. "Tell him I'll call him later." She asked Wanda who relayed the message. Wanda watched as Y/N had gotten up and walked into the bathroom. Washing her face before looking at her reflection in the mirror. She looked exhausted and weak, there was barely any life left in her eyes. She didn't even recognise the girl staring back at her.
"Y/N?" Wanda knocked on the door after realising Y/N was in the bathroom for a long period of time.
"Yes?" She asked as she stepped out to see a concerned Wanda.
"I'm going to go and book another room but please just call me if you need anything." Wanda told her.
"Anything?" She asked with a raised brow.
"Anything but that." Wanda told her firmly, stepping away from her. "I already told you I am not going to do anything like that with you while everything is going on."
"You mean my mom dying and me becoming an orphan?" Y/N sneered as Wanda sighed sadly. "I'm sorry." She apologised as she went to grab a bottle of water. "I guess I am just not used to this right now." She pointed between the two of them.
"I am trying to be a friend to you again. I am trying to be the person I should have been all along. The friend I should have been regardless of my own insecurities." Wanda told her.
"Just go home Wanda." Y/N told her sadly. "I just, I don't think I can deal with this right now."
"I am not leaving you." Wanda told her firmly.
"Yes you are." Y/N spat. "You did it easily all of those years ago."
"Yes I did and I hate myself for it." Wanda told her. "Please give me this chance to show you that I am here now. I am all in with whatever this is." She pointed between the two as Y/N sighed, tears in her eyes as she saw the best friend she used to love before she turned her back on her.
"The hotel is fully booked and there isn't another one for about 45 mins away." Y/N told her softly. "You can take the bed and I'll take the sofa."
"No." Wanda shook her head as she wore a gentle smile on her face. "You take the bed and I'll take the sofa."
"You won't fit on it." Y/N stated as Wanda laughed.
"And you will? You're taller than me Y/N." She told her as Y/N nodded in agreement.
"I guess the bed is big enough for the two of us." She shrugged as Wanda agreed. The two did their nightly routines before settling on the bed, leaving a gap between the two. Wanda turned to look at Y/N who remained looking at the hands in her lap.
"I have been seeing my therapist since leaving New York." Wanda told her. "I have figured out a lot of the reasons I was the way I was. I know it's not an excuse but maybe one day we can talk about it all?"
"Maybe." Y/N told her. "I think we do need to talk about it all, but after my mom because I don't think I can deal with all of the grief alone."
"You won't be alone Y/N, I am going to be here for you. Every step." Wanda took Y/N's hand and gave her a reassuring squeeze as Y/N gazed at her.
"I missed you. This version of you." Y/N whispered as her tears started to fall. "This is the version of you I have always loved." Wanda just gave her a guilty look before lifting Y/N's hand and kissing it gently.
"Get some rest." Wanda told her softly. "You're going to need it." Y/N just nodded before bidding goodnight and turning away from Wanda.
As the days blurred together, the pain grew more and more as Peggy came closer to her last breath. Especially since the diagnosis, this was the worst thing for her family to watch. They all witnessed her start to fade away, the disease slowly taking her away. The soft words of love and affection were spoken to each of her family until it was just Y/N left with her. A smile on Peggy's face as she took her daughter's hand.
"I have always been proud of the person you have become." She told her as Y/N listened. "You have a huge heart Y/N, don't ever lose sight of the good in the world, in your relationships."
"Mom." Y/N started as Peggy hushed her.
"Wanda came back." She whispered. "She has changed, well she is more like the little girl I knew when you first introduced her to your father and I." Y/N wiped a tear that fell. "Don't push her away because of the past. Communicate with her. Become friends again and maybe in the distant future, you may become more."
"I don't think so." Y/N whispered as Peggy took a labored breath.
"You two are a match made in heaven." She told her. "You just need to work out the past and work towards the future."
"I'm going to miss you." Y/N whispered shakily as Peggy gave her a sad smile.
"I am never going to be too far." Peggy told her with a smile. "I will always be in your heart with your father." Y/N watched as Peggy started to lose consciousness, she witnessed her take her last breath before she left the room. The feeling of the warmth of Peggy's hand slowly fading as she walked through the halls. Her whole being numb as the world around her seemed to blur. Walking to the nearest pub and ordering a pint as she sat at the bar. The sound of the music melded in with the sound of the sports commentator on the football match playing on the TV.
Wanda entered the pub and took a seat beside them, ordering herself a drink and another for Y/N. She knew that drinking may not be the best thing right now but Y/N needed her more than anything.
"She's gone." Y/N whispered as Wanda sipped her pint beside her. "She's with dad now and I am here. Alone."
"You're not alone Y/N." Wanda told her comfortingly. "I am not leaving you, not again."
"How am I supposed to trust that?" Y/N asked quietly.
"I don't know." Wanda gave a tight lipped smile before talking once more. "I guess I have to earn the trust that I lost back. I have to show you that I mean every word I am saying because I mean it Y/N. I will be here with you. For everything."
"I guess we can be somewhat acquaintances." Y/N smirked as Wanda nodded with a giggle.
"To new acquaintances." Wanda clinked her glass with Y/N who just smiled. The first genuine smile she had given the brunette before her.

Objective: Teenage Dreams.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairings: Wanda Maximoff x Natasha Romanoff
Tags: Pride month, bisexual Wanda, mutual pining, canon divergence, lesbian Natasha.
A/n: My gift before pride ends lol, it a little rushed but uhh... I enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy reading it. It's kind of a crack fic honestly, just good vibe for ye gays :D (Ps. sorry if there are mistakes I kind rushed this andd it's been a while.)
Summary: It's pride month and Wanda still hasn't made her move. Being the self-proclaimed greatest ally, Y/n and two other decided to give them a push.
On lazy days like these, Wanda usually spends it by reading a book, maybe binge watching some shows. Other times she spends it with her brother, but ever since joining the Avengers, Pietro has made it his ultimate goal to have Steve Roger's physique. He trained almost day and night, honestly Wanda could enter the gym at 9 in the morning finding her brother in the middle of a workout, and by the time she was finished he was still there.
Often time he was also with her best friend, who is now his gym buddy, Y/n Romanoff. Who was just as much of a gym rat as Pietro. Honestly, the amount of time they stare at themselves in the mirror was concerning. She's almost sure she had passed a video on social media featuring them titled; 'How to train like an Avenger'
So nowadays she spends her free time alone, even though she wishes she could spend it with a certain beautiful redhead-
Although it wasn't all that bad. Wanda had found a new fixation to spend her time on. Which was Fanfictions.
Now how does one stumbles upon this... wonderful world you might ask? Well for Wanda it started when she was watching a new TV Show she had recently discovered called, The 100. It was fun until they killed off one of her favorite character, Lexa. Wanda naturally dropped the show in an instant. During one of her rants to one of the new recruits, Kate Bishop then sent her a link leading to a website followed a text that read; "The showrunners might break your heart, but fanfiction authors will be there to pick up the pieces."
And Wanda... Fell down the rabbit hole from there.
At first all she searched was merely about wlw couples on her favorite movies and shows, like that one Supergirl TV show she had been recently watching. Or that one cute show called 'Everything Sucks' that got canceled after one season. Basically any wlw couples she started to like, but couldn't be explored due to the showrunners being a pus-
It didn't matter, she founded the holy-site that held all the stories in the world. Then, when she found nothing else to read there, it lead her journey to... a site that shares the same name as drinking bottle; Tumblr. Minus the 'e'.
The site gave her access to a whole new world and whole lot more stories. It was on this website that she found out there was a whole fandom for the Avengers, and many stories was written about them in different scenarios. Sometimes it was cute, other times it was... questionable-
You can't really blame her, can't you? Her name and the word mommy was basically inseparable on this site.
This was where she learned that people have also been 'shipping' one Avenger and the other. Curiosity got the better of the witch when she started to search herself... and a certain former Russian spy. She was surprised to see how many stories were written about them here. Wanda... may have gotten a little out of hand.
This was her guilty pleasure. Reading stories about her crush and herself in a scenario instead of actually trying to talk to her. Can you blame her though? She was what the internet describes as a 'Loser Lesbian'.
The little voice in her head prefers the word 'Useless Lesbian', which wasn't even accurate as she mostly resonates more with Bisexuality-
"Happy gay month, cus you know you bi and stuff!" Ah there it is, the 'little voice' burst through her door unannounced, causing Wanda to yelp and quickly shut her laptop close to hide her 'shameful' activity.
Wanda glared at the young Romanoff who was carrying 3 different items in his hand and approaching her on the bed. "What the fuck is wrong with-"
"Here, I got you a gay balloon cus it got all the color because it's GAY."
"Y/n-" She reluctantly takes the balloon.
"And I gotchu a vinyl album with that Sweater Weather song cus you Bi." He handed her the vinyl, how thoughtful.
"Ok-"
Lastly, "And I baked you a cake that says, 'BeeEE who yoOOUUu aaRREEE, for YooUURE PRiiiDEEEEeeeEE'" He sang the word off tune.
"Ok- Thank you... Uhm-" She grabs all the items and looks at them with confusion. "This is..." Wanda furrowed her eyes at her friend. "Why- Why did you do this, why are you doing this??"
"You know... Cus you're Bi!"
"I'm well aware of that fact."
"Well my dearest Wanda, in this holy month of June I have a very important mission to accomplish." The young Romanoff suddenly jumps on her bed and dramatically opens his arms as if he was some kind of showman. "I'm gonna get you a woman!"
The youngest Maximoff cringes her face and with a flick of her wrist she knock the soldier off her bed, earning a high pitch scream from him. "First of all, you can't get a woman for yourself how do you expect to get me a girlfriend."
"I have plenty of girls!" He said rather defensively as he sat up on the floor.
"And second, why is this so important to you?"
"What you don't want a girlfriend?"
"I still like guys you know."
He rolled his eyes, "I know that, but you always told me you wanted to try dating girls."
"Not just girls... a girl-" She mumbles.
"What was that?" The man raised a teasing eyebrow.
"Nothing! Now shut up, you haven't answered my question." Wanda said while huffing and crossing her arms.
"Because my dearest friend being Bisexual is one thing, but being bi yourself is just sad-" That statement earned him a rightful pillow thrown at him at full speed. Which he thankfully manages to deflect this time with his reflex.
Wanda then groans and plops on her bed. "You're not going to stop, are you?"
"Nope." Y/n even popped the 'p' to emphasize his point. With a roll of her eyes, Wanda agrees with an exaggerated fine and he joined her on the bed with a grin. "Now, first thing on the list is we need to get you some new clothes."
Wanda hastily sat up looked down at her current outfit and glanced at the mirror in her room. She gave him a stinky eye. "What's wrong with my clothes??" This rude bitch-
"Nothing..." Y/n said rather sassily, "I just... think it might need a little spice is all." Without asking for her permission, Y/n grabs her laptop out of her reach and opens it. "I was thinking we could- WHOAAA..."
"What's- NO!" Her eyes widens in panic has her dirty little secret have been exposed. The witch lunges herself to him only for the young super soldier to hold out a hand to keep her at a distance while staring bewildered at the screen before him. "GIVE IT BACK."
"OH MY GOD???? YOu into this shit?!!" Oh the young Romanoff was having the time of his life. He grinned as he looked at what the story was about, "Natasha Romanoff x Reader? Ohhh ho HO, you really llike her huh-?"
"Y/n I swear to god, GIVE IT BACK." She yelled, Wanda was fucking furious. She already had an annoying brother to deal with, what was she thinking adding Y/n into the mix.
"I want to see your blog." It was like she was seeing red, blood thumping in her brain.
Wanda screeched like a maniac, suddenly overpowering the super soldier. She was practically sitting on top of him wrestling with the now closed laptop, Y/n hugged the laptop close. "Y/N I WILL KILL YOU!"
"I JUST WANT TO SEE!"
"NEVER!" Their screaming was probably heard all over the compound as they wrestle for Wanda's laptop. However, a stern voice stopped their childish fight.
"Enough, both of you!" The two whipped their head to the door to see Natasha crossing her arms and looking at them expectantly. The two scurry off of each other and Wanda made a final yank on her laptop out of his reach. The two stood up like guilty children caught in a fight.
"He took my laptop without permission." Wanda spoke up before Y/n could open his mouth. The look of betrayal on his face brings pleasure to Wanda as Natasha's anger was now directed to him.
"You-"
"Y/n, you know better than to take other people's personal things." Natasha glared at her little brother.
"You're just going to believe her right out of the gate?!" He retorted.
"It's the truth!" Wanda said while hugging her laptop tightly.
"You little snitch-" The super soldier turned to face her challengingly. Before the two were about to enter yet another screaming match, Natasha's stern voice puts them in their place once again.
"You two are acting like children. I have enough of this, Y/n if you don't stop this childish nonsense I'll have you grounded from any missions."
"You can't do that?!" His eyes practically bulge out of it's eye socket.
"I can, and I will." Natasha's death stare easily intimidates him as he quickly mumbles an apology to Wanda. The spy's gaze turned to the witch with soft and caring look, unlike the one she gave to her sibling. "Wanda, if he gives you anymore trouble you let me know ok?"
"Thank you, Natasha." Wanda said shyly, a faint blush visible on her cheek. The redhead smiled at her before giving one last glare to Y/n and left to god-knows-where.
It was so painfully obvious that the two liked each other. Except the only one that fail to realize that is themselves. Operation Scarlet Widow was going to be a lot more difficult than he anticipated, Y/n might need a little backup.
"I seriously don't get why you can't just ask her out instead of reading a bunch of stories-"
This annoying fuck- "DON'T talk to me about that!" She suddenly uses her powers to float him out of her room. "I don't wanna hear about it-" She practically throws him out, Y/n lies on the floor while looking at his friend bewildered. Wanda gave one last glare and shuts the door on his face.
"But-"
"And stay out!" Her voice yelled from inside the room.
Being the annoying friend that he is, he got onto his feet and proceeds to bug the shit out of the witch. Y/n started with those gentle knocks on the door. "Honeyyy-" He teased her.
"Ohmyfuckinggod. Don't call me that!" Wanda yells again. Y/n snickers at her response.
"Wanda, come on..." He knocks again, hearing no response the soldier knocks on the door harder. "You can't hide forever, come out!"
"Jokes on you, I already am!"
"Not what I meant, but ok!" He snickers again, clearly Wanda would not be opening the door anytime soon. He makes his way to the gym to recruit some people who shall help him in this mission.
------
Upon entering the training grounds, Y/n found Yelena and Pietro in the middle of a sparring session. Only these two would spend their Sundays training.
"Dearest Brother, nice of you to join us." Of course Yelena would know it was him, despite having her back facing Y/n.
"Let me know when you want to spar with someone who can actually throw a punch." The soldier said with a smirk.
"Fuck you, Romanoff!" The silver-haired speedster gave him the finger before focusing back on his opponent. "You're the one who's lacking, I thought super soldiers could do this all day?"
Y/n scoffed, "Oh please, I can take you down without breaking a sweat. You rely mostly on your powers."
"Barf, are you going to keep bothering us or join us?" Yelena said with a roll of her eyes, using the distraction Pietro surges forward in an attempt to tackle Yelena. Although she may not have powers, her skills were beyond his years. Using the techniques taught by none other than her own sister, Yelena manages to take down the speedster with ease.
"Hah!" She snorted seeing Pietro with his face on the ground and tapping the floor to announce his defeat. Yelena gets off of him with a smirk on her face.
"Oh come on! If this was a real fight you know you wouldn't stand a chance." The speedster grumbles.
"I'm not denying that, but take that power away and you're just another damsel in distress."
Pietro narrowed his eyes. In the midst of her overconfidence, he uses his powers to knock Yelena on the feet, causing her to fall backwards onto her ass. Normally, her instinct would've kicked in and she would prepare for the fall, but this time Pietro stands in triumph while crossing his arms with a smirk on his face.
"Bitch." Yelena mumbles in Russian before dusting herself off.
"Now if you're both finished, I would like to make an offering." Y/n said while putting his fingers together like some menace business man with bad intention.
"You want to steal Tony's car and do a high speed race on the highway? I call dibs on the Mclaren." Yelena spoke up.
"So long as I get the Ferrari-" Pietro chimes in.
"No, but we'll get back into that because I always wanted to try his Audi. What I have is, how would you feel on playing cupid for our dearest sisters?" Yelena only raises an eyebrow while Pietro squints his eyes.
"I am getting sick of seeing them practically eye-fucking each other at the gym." Yelena started.
"Hey, that's my little sister." Pietro said while puffing his chest out playing the overprotective big brother role.
Yelena rolled her eyes, "She's 27 dipshit, and you're only 12 minutes older."
"Still my little sister..."
"Look we can all agree that these two needs to sort out their feelings, and since the two are completely useless as one is an idiot who thinks staring will magically get her a date. And the other has deep traumatic issues where she struggles to have proper relationship due to her upbringing. I'd say, maybe they need a little third party help?" Y/n opens his arms as if to wait if any of the two objects.
"And how do you plan on pulling this off?" Yelena asked.
"I was hoping you might help me figure that out." Y/n threw back the question. Yelena rolled her eyes.
"So you came to us for help empty handed?"
"Well I would argue dedication and sheer will counts for something." Y/n puffed out his chest, he clearly has nothing.
"We don't even know if Natasha likes Wanda back." Pietro chimes in, which earns him a raised eyebrow from the two Russians.
"It's hard to miss."
"Yeah, I can see the oblivious genes runs in the Maximoff's."
Maybe it was less obvious to someone who was not close to Natasha, she was a trained spy overall. And these two were practically raised to be more observant than others. Or that could just be the oblivious Maximoff genes.
"All I know is, Wanda has had this crush ever since she stole Natasha's jacket."
Y/n furrowed his eyebrows at Pietro. "Wasn't that like... a year ago with Ultron?" Yelena barks out a laugh, "You mean to tell me she's been pinning on Natasha for a year??"
Pietro shrugs his shoulders and smirked, "Wanda has bigger pool, but I'm the one getting all the girls."
"Barf-" Yelena said while fake gagging, earning a jab on the rib by Pietro. "If we want a shot for our dearest love birds we have to be quick, cause I'm noticing a certain android having his eyes on Wanda."
"Who, the toaster?" Pietro said while cringing his face.
"Ok... I can see you don't seem so fond of the guy, and Vision's not so bad y'know-" Y/n said, it's not that he was close with Vision. But he didn't understand why Pietro would look so utterly disgusted.
"No, he's not bad. But if this works out, you and I would be brothers for real, y'know?"
Damn... This was true brotherhood. "Bro..."
"Bro..."
The two hugged like it was something out of a bromance movie. Yelena could only watch with her arms crossed, wondering what the fuck was going on. However, while the two gym rats were having their moment, a plan formed in her mind.
-------
The trio sprang into action in an instant, ordering a bunch of pizzas, heading to the city to grab some supplies, thankfully alcohols were already taken cared of.
"Ok! Now we just need everybody here." Y/n said with a satisfied grin whilst taking a shot to give himself a head start. Yelena mimicked his movement and so did Pietro.
"FRIDAY, assemble the team to the common room." The AI gave Pietro the acknowledgement, soon enough the team entered the common room with a confused look.
"What's going on?" Steve was first to spoke up as he looked around the decorated room with food and beverages.
Wanda glances to a certain redhead a few meters away from her, Natasha initially had a bored look on her face, arms crossed, and was probably mentally preparing herself to whatever the hell her siblings had in mind. And it was as if the spy felt a pair of eyes on her she looked to the side and locked eyes with Wanda, instantly, the corner of Natasha's mouth pulled into a tiny smile and a small shrug.
Wanda blushed instantly and turned her gaze to the floor, tucking a hair behind her ear. The trio, saw this and glances at one another.
"Well dearest teammates." Y/n started, taking a microphone and speaking to it as if he was an mc. "Tonight will be the night-"
"What's with the mic, Y/n?" Natasha asked with a roll of her eyes.
"I was getting there," He responded while putting his hand up, "Tonight Is the night we let loose!" He whooped, yet the only one cheered with him was Pietro.
"Seriously?" Natasha asked with a raised eyebrow.
Y/n scoffed at his teammates, looking at all the low faces and annoyed faces. "Sam! Come on, you're always game." He asked, needing ATLEAST someone to be in it.
Sam sighed, "Man, I would but honestly I was looking forward to sleep early tonight." Y/n looked at him as if his heart had been stabbed.
"Wanda??" He asked his best friend, and Wanda groaned at him. Oh this was a rough start.
"Honestly, I'm in the mood for some me time and not... whatever this is." She replied indicating to the alcohol bottles on the table.
"Sorry kid, looks like everyone is super tired." Steve added with a pity look, "Maybe next time plan things out."
"But that's boring!" Pietro exclaimed, and speeds to every single one handing out a shot glass filled with vodka.
"It's not just any normal drinking night, there's singing involved." Yelena finally chimed in while dunking another shot.
"Yelena, you can't possibly be part of this." Natasha asked her sister, and Yelena shrugged in respond.
"Any reason to grab Tony's alcohol is as good as any." The blonde replied.
Everyone glanced at one another, shot glass in hand, contemplating their decision. "Think of it like a team bonding." Y/n talked again, he cocked his head at Yelena who turns on a song and a familiar tune started playing, a song that would get anyone from any generation dancing (excluding Steve, perhaps). Dancing Queen by Abba.
Y/n had a goofy grin on his face, dancing into the tune, Pietro followed through while Yelena occasionally bopped her head. Sam was the first to grow a grin on his face. Steve, Natasha and Wanda looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "It's Abba!" The falcon said as a matter of factly, he then downed in shot.
"That's the spirit!" Y/n said excited as Sam danced to his direction.
Hesitantly, cap started to walk forward earning a disbelief gasp from Natasha. "Rogers, really...?"
"I mean, I really did enjoyed Mama Mia...." The American boy said with a sheepish smile.
As soon as the lyric's intro came in, Y/n puts an arm around Steve with a microphone in hand. "You can dance!"
"You can jive!" Sam pulled the microphone to himself.
"Having the time of your life!" Those who were already in the circle sang simultaneously, Natasha rolled her eyes but if you squint you could see a tiny smile there. Meanwhile Wanda shifted closer to Natasha watching the group in amusement.
"See that girl!" Y/n pointed at the two, and the other followed. "Watch that scene, digging the dancing queen." He sang, "Come on dancing queens get in here!"
Natasha shook her head fondly, holding back a smile.
"Wanda, Wanda, I know you want to join us girrlll..." Y/n said playfully to his best friend, the boys and Yelena were beckoning her to join. Natasha looked to her side and true enough, Wanda was biting her lips, contemplating whether or not she should join. "You like this song don't lie! Natasha, help me out." Wanda did in fact like this song.
The way her body swayed subtly to the rhythm, her eyes glinting with anticipation, the only thing that's holding Wanda back was herself. Fuck it, Natasha thought to herself. She then held Wanda's arms and dragged her into the group who cheered when they joined. "Wha- Nat, no I-"
"Come on, little witch." Natasha said, turning to face Wanda and raised her shot glass. "Loosen up a bit."
God, Wanda couldn't decline, especially when her crushed smirked like that. They clinked their shot glass and downed their drinks.
------
As the clock got closer to midnight, the more they drank, and the more they drank, the more chaotic it gets. The song they choose ranges to many different genres, in the beginning Pietro and Y/n mostly sang something boyish, like rap or rock. Then as the two gets progressively drunker they sang something what would be describe as 'Girly Pop'.
Steve sang some old 40s song, which was refreshing especially after hearing Y/n's off tune singing voice. Everybody except Natasha was surprised to hear Yelena singing American Pie wholeheartedly, Natasha even sat next to her and sang it with her briefly.
Although the highlight of the night was probably the time Yelena, Pietro and Y/n sang and dance to the song 'Wannabe' by Spice Girls. Natasha had to hid her face with her hand while Sam was laughing his ass off and leaning to Steve for support. Wanda was like a giggling maniac the whole time as she was secretly recording it for some black mailing material on her twin.
Mid-song, Yelena pulled her brother subtly and pushing a very drunk Pietro forward. "Take it for a spin, Maximoff!"
"So, here's a story from a to z-!" Pietro started rapping his part drunkenly.
"She's not drunk enough." Yelena said to Y/n who was trying to stable himself.
"Yep, the alcohol hasn't hit her yet, and Pietro's not going to be much help-" Y/n covered his mouth suddenly as he felt a vomit, he then answered after seeing Yelena's raised eyebrow. "Sorry- Don't worry I got this, hold a bottle."
"Slam your body down and wind it all around!" Pietro continued singing with Yelena twirling his ass in what this generation would describe as 'slay' manner, Y/n drunkenly sauntered over to Wanda who panicked when he started pulling her to the make shift stage.
"No- No, let me go, Y/n!" Wanda protested.
"Just take a shot and come with!" Y/n practically yanked her and they stumbled over to the middle of the living room. "Cheers!" He said while knocking his glass with hers and Wanda finally relents and knocked back her shot.
"-make it last forever, friendship never ends!" Y/n sang while putting an arm around his best friend, Wanda cringes at the bitter taste of the alcohol, she had a few drinks in already but she was never really fond at the taste of vodka.
"Wanda!" Yelena said, suddenly putting an arm around the her as well. "Oh, honey, you emptied your glass already."
"N-no, Yelena, I just dra-"
"Don't you worry, I got you." Yelena said while pouring her another shot, Wanda's eyes widens. She glances to the side and locked eyes with Natasha who raised a teasing eyebrow at her. "Yes, now we cling!" The blonde haired woman said while raising her glass.
Reluctantly, Wanda clinked their glass awkwardly and took a deep breath before taking another shot. She doesn't know how many shots she have taken from that moment, all she knew was that she felt like dancing.
Natasha watched as Wanda's dance move progressively become more fluid and at ease in contrast to her usual shy self. The spy smiled to herself, dance with her. Natasha shook her head at the impulsive thoughts. At some point during the song 'Teenage Dreams' by Katy Perry, Wanda was handed a mic by Yelena. Thankfully this time Wanda was drunk enough not to refuse, and instead grinned like a goof.
When Wanda sang the second verse, Natasha almost lost her breath because she sounded so... beautiful.
"We drove to Cali and got drunk on the beach. Got a motel and built a fort out of sheets."
Wanda sang with her eyes closed, smile on her face, swaying her body to the rhythm. "I finally found you, my missing puzzle piece, I'm complete." The witch opened her beautiful green eyes just to have a similar looking ones staring right back at her.
Wanda giddily approached Natasha and extend her hand, "Wanda-"
"Come onn, Tasha!" Wanda pleaded. Tasha, well that's new-
Natasha hesitantly looked around, the trio were holding onto each other while slurring to the song, Sam had passed out, and Steve... Well, he gave Natasha a knowing look before helping Sam up to his feet and gave Natasha a look that says 'Don't mess this up, Romanoff.' And walking off with a drunken Sam.
"We can dance, until we die. You and I..." Wanda sang waiting for Natasha to finally grab her hand, finally the spy relents and took the witch's offering hand. "-we'll be young forever!"
Wanda practically yanks Natasha into the middle of the living room.
"You make me feel like I'm livin' a teenage dream. The way you turn me on, I can't sleep. Let's run away and don't ever look back, don't ever look back!"
The younger woman puts a hand on Natasha's shoulder, swaying her hips while singing the lyrics. Natasha was unsure if she should put her hand on Wanda, keep it to the side, on Wanda's waist perhaps?
"My heart stops." The witch suddenly tilt Natasha's chin so their eyes meet. "When you look at me," Natasha's breath hitched in her throat, "just one touch...." And the rest of the lyrics seems to died on Natasha's ears as all she could see was a drunken state Wanda making her confession crystal clear.
Wanda turned and moved her body sensually against Natasha, without hesitation, the older woman puts a firm hand on Wanda's hips to guide her moves. Wanda shivered when she felt Natasha's hot breath on her ear. "Imma get your heart racing in my skin-tight jeans." She grabs Natasha's hand and trail it up her body, a silent plea to the older woman to touch her. "Be your teenage dream tonight..."
Fuck... if Natasha had no self-restraint, she would've taken Wanda here and there. "Let you put your hands on me in my skin-tight jeans" Wanda turns around to face Natasha again and this time the younger one guided Natasha's hand to rest on her thighs. "Be your teenage dream tonight...."
The song reached it's mini pause. Wanda, almost in desperation and system full of alcohol wrapped her arms around Natasha and leaned in til their nose was touching. "I want to kiss you so bad..." She whispered.
"I-" The redhead was at lost for words, her eyes looking deep into those beautiful green eyes, searching for any signs of hesitation. Blown pupils were looking right back at her, slowly it travels down to Natasha's lips. Fuck this.
As soon as the song started again, Natasha gently cup Wanda's face with one hand and pulled her into a soft kiss. Oh Wanda's heart could explode right about now, for a second her mind became stone-cold sober so it could remember this moment properly. Wanda drops the microphone she was holding and puts her hand on the older woman's cheeks, using her thumb to caress her soft delicate skin.
"You make me, Feel like I'm livin' a teenage dream The way you turn me on, I can't sleep Let's run away and don't ever look back, don't ever look back."
The two women were now lost in their own world, they failed to notice the cheers from their own respective (very drunk atm) siblings. Wanda was taller than Natasha, but she went on her tippy toes and wrapped her slender arms around the spy. Natasha craned her neck a little, smiling into the kiss, her arms securely on (her) the little witch's waist.
"My heart stops, when you look at me. Just one touch, now baby I believe this is real. So take a chance and don't ever look back."
Wanda felt like she was on cloud nine, feeling Natasha's soft lips on hers. Oh those sweet plump lips she's been day dreaming about for months, honestly, she felt like the main character in a movie. A teenager if you will in a coming off age movie, is this what Simon felt like from Love, Simon? The song was quite spot on, as Natasha made her feel like a teenager once again, or at least what she assumes a teenager would feel. She never really got to properly enjoyed her teenage years, but here she is. With the woman of her dreams.
"We're siblings for real!" They finally broke the kiss after hearing a drunken Y/n made the statement, arms on both Yelena and Pietro who were just as equally drunk as him. Pietro mimicked his sentence, and Yelena only nodded her head while occasionally raising her glass. Natasha and Wanda shared a look as they held each other, the spy snorted while her counterpart giggled at the scene.
It seems like the trio had put Katy Perry's song on shuffle, because the beat to 'Last Friday Night' started playing.
They started chanting "We did it!" matching their words to the tune of the song, the two couple shared a look.
"Do you wanna get out of here?" Natasha asked, a small smile on her face.
"Yes, please." Wanda replied shyly before being dragged out of the living room by Natasha.
-------
The witch woke up groggily on her bed, her eyes needed time to adjust to the light that were peaking into her room. She groaned and fell back onto the bed with a thud, shielding herself from the light like a vampire allergic to it. "Ugh... what did Yelena put in my drinks." She grumbles.
All of the sudden everything came rushing back into her memory like a tidal wave. I kissed Natasha...
She hastily sat on her bed and looked around. She remembered they kissed, but... how did they end up here. Wanda remembered Natasha asking her to move out of the living room, oh my god did we slept together? The witch's face started to match her battle suit as she thought of the possibility, wish I could've remembered.
Her throat felt dry so she decided to grab herself some drinks in the kitchen. And to her surprise, Natasha was already there. Humming to herself and cooking breakfast, Wanda let in a sharp breath at the sight. Of course, being the trained spy that she is, Natasha greeted Wanda without having to turn around.
"Good morning, Wanda. Slept well?" Natasha asked kindly.
"I don't know how you do that." Wanda muttered.
The spy chuckles to herself, "What I was trained for, little witch. I already put a glass of water for you by the table. Bacon and eggs alright?"
Wanda glanced at the table and surely enough Natasha already prepped a big jug of water and a glass for her. "Oh thank you, you're a godsent..." The younger woman took a seat and dawned her water, and then also her second glass of water.
Natasha walked by her and set a plate for both herself and Wanda. "What a night was it?" She said with a hint of tease.
The brunette only nodded her head while drinking her water like it was the last one on earth. She dropped her glass with a sigh of relief and glances at Natasha, a faint blush appeared on her cheek almost immediately. Wanda cleared her throat before answering, "It was, thank you for breakfast."
"You're welcome." She replied simply, her body still angled a little to the side, one arm propped on the head of the chair whilst staring intently at Wanda.
"Natasha, I..." Wanda started, oh god suddenly her throat feels dry again. The spy gave a small nod, urging her to continue. The younger woman started fidgeting with her finger. "I don't regret it," Wanda finally looks at her. "Kissing you, all of it, I don't regret any of it."
A smile tugged the corner of Natasha's lips, but before she could answer, Wanda started rambling on.
"B-but it's ok if you don't feel the same. Or that it was just a heat in the moment kind of thing."
"Wanda, relax." The older woman put a gentle hand on Wanda, she inhaled sharply at Natasha's action. "Listen... I'm no better at this. However, if your interested, I would like to take you out on a date." Natasha smiled at her, oh god, Wanda's heart was beating a mile minute. Wait, wait, she said date?
"I- Yes, I would love that." Wanda averted her gaze, the intensity of Natasha's green eyes was too much. The sheer intensity of the spy's gaze could turn her into a puddle of mess.
"Good, I've been dying to try this restaurant." Natasha said while turning her body now to face her breakfast, she took one bite of the bacon before continuing. "I hope Southeast Asian cuisine isn't too spicy for you." The spy said teasingly.
"Oh please, you underestimate me." Wanda responded with a slight bump of their shoulders, yet a question still lingers on her mind. "Hey uh... Sorry, I was just wondering. Did we uh... do anything?"
"What do you mean? We kissed." Natasha answered cluelessly.
"Yeah, but I remember you took me to my room. I couldn't remember anything from there, so... I was just wondering if we did anything." Wanda asked, her voice progressively gets more timid the more she explains.
"Hmmmm, like what? Watching a movie?" The spy said while looking up to the ceiling as if deep in thoughts, small smirk on her face.
"Tasha, stop messing around." Wanda said with a playful eyeroll.
"Tasha, huh? That's new." She continued to teased her little witch. Wanda playfully pouted her lips, of course Natasha couldn't help but give in to that. "Don't worry, little witch, nothing happened. I took you to your room, we made out for a little bit and before you finally fell a sleep in my arms. It was a adorable." Natasha added the last bit with a shrug and a smirk.
Wanda's face got increasingly red, "Ugh..." She groaned at hid her face in her hand. "I'm sorry."
"Don't hide that pretty face, as I said, it was adorable." Natasha pried away Wanda's hand, the witch relents and was greeting with a fond smile from Natasha. One she rarely saw, god she's so fucking beautiful.
And unfortunately for them, it had to be ruined by the trio... Again.
"Ughh.... my head-" Y/n groaned.
"I feel like skipping gym today." Pietro chimed in.
"Keep up." Yelena responded with a bored tone. She was sweating, probably went on a run.
Wanda and Natasha mentally cursed at themselves and returned to their own respective breakfast. The trio rummages through the kitchen, finding cereals and bowls, Yelena opted for an apple instead. They sat down across Natasha and Wanda, Y/n was first to point out the obvious of course.
"So...?" He asked them excitedly.
"So what?" Natasha raised an eyebrow at him.
Only for him to raised his eyebrow right back, "Did you guys shag?" Yelena piped in, Pietro groaned.
"No, don't answer that-" The older Maximoff covered his ears while Wanda shrunk in her seat.
"I'll take that as a yes!" Y/n yelled excitedly.
"First of all, we didn't." Natasha said firmly, "And second, I don't see how that's any of your business."
"Oh, but it is." The redhead narrowed her eyes at him, but it was too early to deal with her brother's antics.
"Look whatever you saw, zip it." Natasha stated, "I personally want to keep this under wrap, if this goes out to the press they're going to have a lot of questions and I don't want to deal with that."
"I'll second that." Wanda muttered, casting Natasha a grateful look to which the older woman smiled in response.
Y/n scoffed, "Whatever, I'm great at keeping secrets. Beside, I'm just glad the whole sexual tension can now be resolved-" He shuts up immediately upon seeing Natasha's glare.
After a few minutes of silence and eating their breakfast, Y/n's phone notification started going off like crazy. "Oh, Piet I think one of our videos got viral."
"Where let me see." Pietro leaned over to take a look, and upon opening the app, their eyes quickly widens. "Why would you upload that?!"
"I didn't! I must've- Fuck..." Y/n panicked, and by that, really panicked.
"What's going on?" Natasha asked.
"Nothing!" The two men said simultaneously, fuck... if Natasha finds out they're screwed. However, before they could delete the evidence, Natasha snatched the phone from her brother's hand. Wanda leaned closer to take a look and gasped. Yelena only snorted and excuse herself as she had an idea where this was going.
It was a footage of them, kissing, wrap up in each other's arms, lip tight in a passionate lock. Fuck, Katy Perry was right, Pictures of last night ended up online and they were screwed. "Y/n..." Natasha said warningly.
Without a second thought Y/n dashed away from the table with Pietro who zooms past him with his superspeed.
"I'll fucking kill you both!" Was Natasha's last word before hunting them down one by one.

Note
“but also, the character looked a certain way for almost sixty years, so I understand that there needed to be an adjustment period.”
Or maybe she should just go back to looking the way she did for 60 years without artists being bullied online (not by you) into declaring she was a visible person of color when she clearly wasn’t intended to be that?
The problem with Marvel’s current color guide is obvious when applied to MCU Wanda, but it was always a problem because it privileges two lines in one comic (the Vision & the Scarlet Witch references to Magda being Romani) over the character’s comic & visual history.
BZZZZZZZZT WRONG
First of all, I have no idea why you're citing Vision & the Scarlet Witch specifically. To my recollection, those scenes don't reference any of the characters' skin color or racial appearance, but if you want to talk about their identities, Magda is consistently and clearly stated to be Romani in every version of her backstory and in many of her appearances from the 80s all the way to the present day. In the current canon, she's not Wanda and Pietro's birth mother, so she's actually not relevant to this conversation at all, but the Maximoffs, their canon birth family, are Roma, and always have been.
Second-- and it's amazing to me that this point is still lost on so many people-- the character designs were changed to reflect the need for more inclusive representations of Romani characters. The majority of, if not all Romani characters in Marvel comics have historically been drawn as white people. It's not authentic, and it's not inclusive. Wanda and Pietro were not "intended" to look like anything. Their historically white appearance is the result of ignorance, color bias in the comics industry, and the fact that their identities were applied retroactively and, in some ways, problematically, which, I hate to say, is the case for many Romani characters. Orlando, Dauterman, et al, changed their designs out of a desire to improve upon that problematic history, not to "privilege" any one description over another. It is a net positive, and in my personal opinion as someone who's been immersed in this fandom for a long time, it's just about the only way to get people to actually recognize and talk about us as a minority.
I understand that this kind of change in character design creates discrepancies that might be challenging to navigate, and I think that people should be honest when we're talking about Wanda and Pietro's history. And it's absolutely true that fans behave inappropriately on social media, and a lot of people who are otherwise well-intentioned sometimes miss the point and say things that are untrue or tokenizing. But if you are genuinely invested in better Romani representation, and you're approaching any part of that conversation in good faith, you would not be arguing against Wanda and Pietro being drawn with brown skin. That's, like, crazy to me.

My (mcu) Wanda Maximoff Headcanons with a Little bit of Pietro, and MCU Cthton
Her favorite Ice Cream flavor is Pistachio
She have a collection of leather boots
She cooks noodles and fried egg at 3 am because she can't sleep
She's obsessed with Antique and Vintage items
Her and Pietro use to be in a band (she plays guitar and Pietro plays the drums)
She doesn't know how to ride a bike (because I can't)
She doesn't like attending big parties and hates large crowds
She owns a flip phone and doesn't have any Social media ( she owns a laptop tho for watching movies and searching stuff online)
She have a tons of cook book and like learning more recipes and cooking technique
She hates how everything have touch screens these days
She Knows a lot about Ancient history and have a tons of books about it
She likes watching Ghibli films and her top 4 Favorites are Porco Rosso (this film is so underated), Spirited Away, My Neighbor totoro and the wind rises
She have a passionate interest in cinema and her favorite director is Guillermo del Toro etc.
She hates people who have uses "ai" she hates people who doesn't care about the art of making, people who who watches movie and not "think" or care, she hates people who consumes media without thinking and analyzing it and who treats different types of art like it's just another product you can throw away once you're "done" with it
She doesn't have a favorite celebrities and can't stand people that are obsessed with famous peoples she thinks it's weird
She might not have a favorite celeb but she likes Al Pacino movies (she have a collection of them) she Likes Pacino too but she's not obsessed with his life
And let's be honest if Wanda is a real person she's one of the people that will hate the mcu
She prefers her steak well done and doesn't care if people tells her that that's the wrong way to cook a steak
She hates the tastes of matcha and Plain milk
Drinks coffee everyday like it's water
She used to work as a Convenience store cashier during her teenage years in sokovia
She hates people who are loud and have no respect of other people's personal space
She likes the peace of not knowing everything, she doesn't care about Celebrity issues, she doesn't care about big award shows and who won and who lost
She likes Dogs and her and Pietro Used to have a pet dog
--[ This part is like how I imagine Wanda got her powers and what is her relationship with Cthton]
[ Ihate the "I am an evil god and I am gonna make you evil things" bullshit it's boring and the "Wanda got her powers from the mind stone thing" I think it's just activate her powers, she got her]
Chthon watches over Wanda as she grew up and he's like....(Don't slap me please) Became like her father figure/weird imaginary best friend, growing up in Wanda's memory he's just a kind oldman/creatures that helps her manage and Cope her with the death of her (adopted) parents but then as time goes by he slowly disappears as she reaches adulthood and also as a child she's experiencing supernatural and paranormal activities she didn't know he is the reason she is seeing things until she became the Scarlet witch... There are so many things I want to say, like, Come on, the potential is there! Just imagine the drama of the Angst and Wanda having a father figure issue!!
She's adopted by her Aunt and Uncle (her and Pietro didn't know)
Her real Mom actually died during childbirth
Wanda's real Mom use to have a lot of nightmares about a horrifying God he have large horns and have tentacles and he's always talking about how her daughter will "reshape" the word
She became paranoid and have a sensitive pregnancy
Days before her due Date (her husband 🧲 is at work and have to take an overnight shift) some Strange men broke into her House (A.w.o.l Sorcerer's from kamar taj that are afraid about Cthton's resurrection) and Threaten her to abort the babies but she refused so she decided to escape into the Forrest while scaping she feel her water broke and she decided to hide in a cave
While she's on Labor she realizes that she got shot and is losing a lot of blood her vision is blurring and she Knows she's dying she can't come out of hiding yet because the men who wants to kill her are outside looking for her so she begs and pray to the god that she's been seeing in her dreams to save her children, she doesn't care that she does but she wants her children to live and he appears infront of her, he is 9ft tall he have no eyes but he knows he's looking at her...she desperately begs to him to save her children and he told her that he won't let Wanda dies and because He have chosen her and he will only heal Pietro because he knows the boy will die anyway
The next Morning People find Wanda's Mother dead body in the cave and they find 2 healthy babies laying next to her
I know you're wondering how I come up with this and idk either it's just one night I am thinking about Wanda's parents and her scarlet witch lore and like...*pop* 😬😬
I am gonna make part 2 because I have too many thoughts about this woman | some of this...maybe it's me projecting to her
(sorry bad English)

2010’s Amino had to be one of the most kinnie affirming sites on the internet
like what do you mean I was able to win (by server vote, mind you) a banner on the x-men amino that dubbed me as THE ‘pietro maximoff’ of the community? what do you mean my rp group had our own official banners that dubbed us ‘the maximoffs’ ??
Amino was sick and twisted in its own special way as was every social media platform of the time but my like 13 year old kinnie brain was thriving

random, mundane headcanons part 3(??) of ????
Tumblr media
favourite piece of technology?
"Currently? The new system at the shop. I like the antique style, but modernity is far better in terms of being able to actually do my work," she admitted, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. Wanda was far from against technology, and could use most things handed to her. But her way of living tended towards the mystical rather than the technological.
"Surely, the antiques I've kept from the place or receive to sell or display are amazing. Quality pieces. However, technology certain has it's place and makes things so much easier. ....costly though. It was a pain to update and used up most of the savings to get new things fitted."
Outwith the technology at her shop, The Emporium, Wanda's favourite technology changes often. She'll always be amused and impressed by whatever new thing is going on with Stark, and still impressed and amazed by what arrows Clint can make. Her most used piece of technology is her phone, and she doesn't mind the odd game here or there to pass the time or some social media but she tends to just use the call features or various messaging systems. She has to hand it to tech, it doesn't have the flair of astral projection or sending ravens or words just appearing in the air! But it is far simpler and more efficient.
what did their parents want them to do?
"Well, it depends on what set of parents we're referring to," she mused, mostly past getting upset or nostalgic at the thought. "But shall we talk of the Maximoff's since my first few years were with them?"
"The Romani community at the time, at least with my parents and their social circle, was geared towards males being... more important. My job was to bring people in. I was taught how to dance, and taught how to sew and crochet. I was also taught how to read tarot cards - though certainly not the variation of reading decks that I now know." A silence for a moment as she thought it over. Her childhood was happy and she wouldn't think otherwise, but it was filled with hard work, a lot of travelling, and a lot of taking the blame because Pietro was right and she was wrong. "I think my parents simply wanted me to do something that made me happy. They weren't limited, I don't think so, but they were accustomed to how they lived their life and didn't think about other things. I suppose they just thought I'd travel with them indefinitely."
In terms of the Maximoffs and Max/Erik, they wanted what a lot of parents want - their child to follow in their footsteps. To follow their religion (difficult when the Maximoffs and Erik followed different faiths), to follow their beliefs, their line of work... She was taught various skills as a child because staying with the Maximoff's she was likely to be a matriarch at some point. Taught a little medicine, some languages, dancing, tarot, various otehr skills. But Wanda certainly believes that her and Pietro's happiness were paramount.
do they fall asleep easily?
Wanda cast a glance away, then a shake of her head. "Not... Not usually. No." She gave a small shrug, thinking it over for a moment. "For starters, my schedule isn't set. The shop is open during the day, but some customers and clients only come at night - from people brought by the Last Door, to creatures of the night. Not to mention, a call for the Avengers can come any time."
"But... Even when I have the time to sleep, be it night or day, I can lie awake for some time. Sometimes I think, sometimes I don't think anything. I simply can't sleep. And when I do sleep I normally end up waking up early-- It's-- Well, it's my issue. I'm used to it, so it's not anything worrying."
Sleeping hasn't come easy to her in some time. When her depression was high, before and after 'House of M', she could spend days sleeping or just lying in bed. She had no energy, nor the will to see anyone. She does her best to have what schedule she can so as not to fall into that again. But she does have insomnia, of sorts. When with someone, a partner, she does manage to sleep better - she'll still not fall asleep instantly, but it takes less time. It's partly security, partly... who knows what. A skill, a sign of love? Wanda does try her best to get the sleep she needs, and there are plenty of good nights/days. It's not something she's worried about currently.
do you get car/sea/(flight?) sick?
"Not at all. I love a journey," she replied with a smile. "I enjoy a car journey, partly because I never really have to drive or be driven. It's a nice way to see a place I think. I rarely travel by boat or ship, but I'm incredibly used to flights through the Avengers."
"Car is maybe my preferred mode... The faster the better sometimes. You can't beat my brother for speed, however I enjoy a fast car because you can still see the sights. Of course, I wouldn't want to be the one driving. As I say, I don't tend to use cars. I have magic. I'd like to properly learn, though I can drive when required it's a skill I'm probably rusty with."
She happily doesn't get sick. And loves a journey. The travel really is important to her. She does like a nice car, probably more than a nice ship or plane or jet, whatever. She can drive, but the last time she did so? Long time ago. She can affect probabilities so you'll live, but maybe some lessons wouldn't go amiss. She actually knows a fair bit about nice cars. She doesn't know all by sight or sound, but she's been around quite a few people who do enjoy a good super car - and prior to/around her depression first hitting, she enjoyed studying anything and it was so easy to watch shows about cars or read up on them. Or ask Tony or someone else to talk about them.
who do you bicker with them most?
"Pietro, by far," she responded. There wasn't even a split second of hesitation. He was still, and always would be, one of the people closest to her. They had a lot of similarities, far too many perhaps, including arrogance and pride which was probably reason enough for most of their arguments. "We bicker over many things. We tend to overall have similar ideas and feelings, but how we go about things changes a lot."
"We love each other, but we're not the same person. So our closeness leads to bickering." Outside of Pietro? Probably her teammates, though not usually over major issues. Again, when you saw someone often there was always going to be little things that come up.
The answer is Pietro by a long shot. Sometimes it's just for the fun of it and to tease him. They are similar, but their differences are wide and varied. Their pride doesn't like when they're beaten either. And they've both made a lot of mistakes in how they've 'protected' one another in the past, so whilst a lot of bickering is simply surface level and joking, easily resolved, there are larger issues too. Wanda will also bicker, teasingly and properly, with partners. It's not a power struggle or show of dominance, and she's not one to ignore what another person says. But if she feels differently about something she'll state her argument, especially if she feels close to someone. But with a partner she isn't one to hold a grudge, and she's more than happy to compromise or lose. Communication is really important to her, and not all communication is lovely dovey. If she teases you, you're well liked.
does your voice stand out?
"Possibly. Especially around some more than others. I've not yet managed to lose the accent from my home country. ...Or countries. We travelled a lot when I was younger - Serbia, Romania, countries such as these. And my accent isn't yet gone. But I've learned that it can be easier not to show this. I've worked to have a more 'American' accent because it prompts less questions. I used to use this fake accent more regularly but... I use it less now, and let my own accent come through."
She was proud of who she was, but she hadn't always been. Her accent didn't seem to bring 'good imagery' to mind, and always seemed to set her 'lower' in peoples estimations. Or that she could not truly speak english when she thought her understand better than most others. She hid it to make life easier, but it didn't really help. She was prouder now.
Wanda really is proud of her accent, and around those she's most comfortable with (partners, or close members of the Avengers) the accent will come through more pronounced as she's relaxed. She's the kind that when excited or in high emotion, her accent is more noticeable and thick.

I have a lot of fandoms I enjoy so I hope that is okay I gush about them from time to time!
One partially original(?) character I like a lot is my alternate universe Scarlet Witch! I have been a fan of Spider-man for a long time, and the Scarlet Witch has become my favourite Marvel hero even if I knew little about her until watching WandaVision :O
However, while I do enjoy her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I wished for my own version to have, haha~
(Lots of writing under the cut!)
Her birth name is Wanda Maximoff, but was renamed Wendy when her family was forcefully pushed to leave her mother's home country and they moved to America; with the high tensions between those two regions of the world, her mother insisted on her children being kept safe physically and socially by having them fit into American society at the time. Thus, a very "American" name for an "American" girl, absolutely normal and respectable
But life is not very easy for a girl with dark, curly, thick hair lacking a rosy, pale complexion, especially when struggling with a various things not well-diagnosed at the time. But at least she was normal to the best of circumstances, her mother hoped
However, her X-Gene activated very early in her childhood and she found that she could affect physical matter by rearranging their composition and interacting with the material in unusual ways. What fun!
It was as if she had mysterious powers, and that a lot of her unique difficulties amounted to her being special compared to everyone else. She felt like a hero, a secret saviour-to-be with her fresh abilities!
At least, she thought until her twin, Pietro "Peter" Maximoff developed a superhuman speed when they were children. Her having powers is really cool! But her brother as well? It was still cool, but something felt odd . . .
She opened up to her mother, as, excited children with strange abilities could not be able to keep such secrets to themselves, and the most they learned was that she knew a man who, like her, could control and manipulate matter, specifically metal.
It was not long until what made her feel special and powerful led to feelings of alienation and insecurity, that it was not her being unique but rather unacceptable and strange. She closed up into her bedroom and lost herself in any fictional media she found particular interest in, rarely seen outside if at all
Not an antisocial girl, but an inhibited and reclusive child, her friend circle was occupied solely by her family, and her bestest friend being Peter, her twin who too felt the same self-doubt and insecurities of being oddities. But she was happy when safe and alone, and that was good enough for her . . .
But she was lonely deep down.
She could not communicate well with the peers that did not actively shun her, and she was becoming more and more sensitive and aware of discomforts outside of the safety of her room and home, all hindrances to her living happily and fulfilled as a young girl her age should. But Peter seemed to get along fine, as his mastery of his speed allowed him to disappear and escape the home, and escape consequences for things that caught his interest, anything easily keeping the active brother occupied for his particular attention spans
She occupied herself with her powers, as despite their condemning existence, she had grown attached to this mysterious mutation and honed it for small fancies, such as transmuting her belongings, breaking the sunlight that entered her shady windows, or just floating everything for her amusement. Something that her mother could never talk her out of doing, regardless of their disruption
As they grew up, the twins seemed to fall further apart as Wendy isolated herself more to escape uncomfortable reality and Peter had sought to make his own space in a society unable to be navigated otherwise; sadly, despite being girls, Wendy could not interact with her younger sister, a normal human child, and rarely sought her out to spend time with, and the girl was not interested with Wendy's love of her abnormal mutation
Wendy dressed in dark colours and faded clothes, attracted to the appearance of hiding and blending in, safe from catching attention, but her hair and facial features would easily make her stand out; unwilling to straighten it or touch it, she merely cut it short to the right length
Due to her life, Wendy entered teenage life very distant from people with so many barriers preventing her easing into it. She had difficulty accommodating herself without scrutiny, she had to pay close attention to avoiding attention, her mother pressed upon her the need to divide her heritage from her current life, there was no sense of the nuclear family stability, and to make things extra lonesome . . .
She could not seem to have a lot of experiences that girls her age should have
She had little interest in real people compared to fictional ones, and her fondness for science-fiction and horror was only shared by reclusive older men who spent more money on their hobbies than Wendy had ever received in allowance in her life
Her interests were strict and her "otherness" was very powerful, too powerful for her sake
But despite her years spent shutting herself away in the cozy bedroom of her childhood, Peter did not forget about her and attempted to reach out to his twin on many occasions. He would offer her food from his latest sneak to closed stores, use some speedy help to pull light pranks outside her door (Being mindful of her sensitivities!), or to sit outside her closed room in the middle of the night, both chatting away on something or another that their minds were particularly hyper-focused on
They were not alone, they had their twinship to make sure that in their darkest of times, they had an ally, a partner in crime, a loyal sidekick, a best friend and confidante in each other no matter what happened between them
. . . Until Peter left with the strange men one day.
She was jolted out of an "organizing the collectibles" event in her own room by her sister's loud knocks, and she answered the door to see a very unhappy child asking reluctantly for company. Despite it all, Wendy did love her sister, even if the best she could show was to involve her in unwanted demonstrations of her mutant ability
However, sensitive to changes in her safehouse of a home, she did hear unfamiliar voices downstairs, and a sudden dread that followed when Peter left with them. She occupied herself with extra diligence in spending time with her sister, and only when Peter arrived home again was all well and fine in her kingdom
At least, that was what should have been forever
Peter should not have left to go to another school than her, and should not have left her alone. He should not have changed the occupancy of the house by leaving to live elsewhere. She missed knowing someone was there in the basement room taking up space
Mazda's comfort was empty to Wendy, only being able to internalize her brother leaving as him picking an absent, possibly non-existent father over their current family. She missed having him to physically be around, having a brother she knew was terrorizing the students that heckled her at school, having another mutant alongside herself to share their special secret with
Oh, what a difficult time it is to be a young miss like her . . .
After he had established himself as the hero Quicksilver of the X-Men would Peter return home, to a very distant and coldly irate Wendy who had adjusted to Peter's absence by growing a dislike of him to combat her feelings of discontent; the pair could not talk very well as they did as children, and Wendy seems to have somewhat acclimated to normal life well without him, though still friendless and outwardly depressing
She had even found better footing in human society now with her powers hidden, albeit with reassurance from medical tests that did not detect her mutation; she was a normal young woman returning to college to work towards her degree as the first Maximoff child to do so
But Peter did not come home just to keep in touch with his family, he wanted to specifically bring Wendy with him; his mutant twin deserved the acceptance and environment for people like them as he did, and she could use her powers to help people
But he asked of her a world, and asked of her to give up her current life spent adjusting to the difficulties only she was made to face. She wanted to have her family together, but she did not know if she could make another crucial change in her life to make up for the years of being closeted with the person she is
Only her family knew her mutation, and only her family accepted her. How scary is it to open up to strangers after spending years mastering a disguise to garner basic tolerance from people unlike you?
But maybe if her twin was there with her, maybe it would be better. Maybe this is a good thing, and maybe that is why she made the difficult steps towards following him and arriving at the mansion of one Charles Xavier
For other details about her that would not be easy to depict is that Wendy is asexual, and lacks the interest or desire for relationships with boys or otherwise, but does have a fondness for cyborg, android, or robot characters in science-fiction, pertaining to her canon of being in love with the Vision, who does not exist to my knowledge here
Wendy grows up during the events of the X-Men films, the basis of her inspiration, and her powers are less magical than they are acting like magnetism, radiation, or gravitational fields; her ability to shift matter allowed her to cheat the physical tests seeking the X-Gene in her body
I was inspired by the actor Gratiela Brancusi, a Romani-Greek actor, who seemed like my ideal design for an adult Wendy Maximoff~ Particularly, her face was beautiful and striking to me :O
Where her brother has traits of ADHD, Wendy possesses symptoms of autism, but due to the attitudes and poor research of it by this time, would not be known, only that Wendy seems to have a certain number of difficulties with what should be easy for others
I really liked the idea of a healthy and strong sibling dynamic, with a touch of twin comraderie~ Wendy and Peter are understanding and open siblings who care for each other very much, and would likely go to the ends of the world for the other if asked to, but that is why it hurts Wendy more that Peter would disturb the delicate balance of her already overly stressful life by becoming a hero
I will add more or share more as I brainstorm her! But for now this is already a lot that I had written, haha!
I hope any Scarlet Witch fans enjoy if they do~
