I can't explain to you the appeal of Chesper, you either get it or you don't. It's really hard liking rarepairs cause people want an explanation for Why ship them all the time like idk man I just thought they were cute and that their personalities would mesh well

I will say however that I'm begging people to stop saying they had crushes on each other in canon because that's not true. You can hc that they did(i do) but don't say it as if it's fact ok let's not dilude ourselves.

These two were pretty much inseparable, they just understood each other on a level most could never reach

Cheshire liked to sing old wonderlandian ditty’s or hum tunes and Piper would make them into beautiful compositions

Piper matched her mischievous attitude and sometimes used his musical talents as a way to help her when he was bored

They just stuck together like glue and no one could separate them, no one actually knew why they bonded

I like to believe that Chesh liked his music but then fell in love with his soft personality and the patience he had for her being new to eah (you know because she came from wonderland originally I believe she and the rest transferred)

Piper definitely fell for her mischievous attitude to life, he liked watching her just cause chaos (HE LIKED HER SMILE WHEN SHE DID IT OK)

He also tended to cause chaos with his music just to see if she’d appear and get her attention (it worked and she was head over heels with this guy)

They know what the other is thinking (eye contact was an important communication thing between them)

Snuck kisses between classes, they fucking loved to snog in the hallways

Although Chesh really did like it when Piper set up a picnic date for the two of them once

Piper loves it when she tells him stories about wonderland (he wanted to go there with her and settle down)

i couldnt get enough of the ninjago monster high au i and @lonleyzodiac made so we made an ever after high au as well

the characters are all the sons and daughters of fairy tales with their elemental powers being tied moreso towards their heritages rather than anything else

the parents are more loosely based on the fairytale characters they stand in for tbh anyways characters under the cut

in no particular order, here’s some characters + their alignments (royal (will/wants to follow in the footsteps (destinies) of their parents) or rebel (will not follow their destinies), they’re all standins but not direct remakes of the EAH characters:

lloyd garmadon (rebel) - son of garmadon (or the evil king i guess)

nya hearts (rebel) - daughter of the knave and queen of hearts (intended to follow the destiny of the knave of hearts (being put on trial and punished for a crime she didn’t commit))

kai hearts (rebel (former royal)) - son of the knave and queen of hearts (intended to follow the destiny of the queen of hearts (becoming king of wonderland))

cole brookstone (rebel (former royal)) - son of the big bad wolf

jay hatter (rebel (former royal)) - son of the mad hatter

zane julien (rebel) - son of dr julien, or the snow king

geo hood (rebel) - son of robin hood (ran away to ever after high because of the stuff that went down)

pixal (rebel) - adopted daughter of eros

harumi cheshire (royal (but doesn’t like to admit it)) - daughter of the cheshire cat

sora white (royal) - daughter of snow white

arin kingsley (royal) - son of alice (he has no idea if his mum is still alive or still in wonderland or anything)

euphrasia charming (royal) - daughter of prince charming (standin for darling charming)

percival charming (royal) - son of prince charming (standin for daring charming, he constantly went after sora who was just not into him until he met arin)

echo julien (rebel) - a pinocchio-like character cursed to become a villain in his destiny (he’s cursed to become mr. e)

scott thorne (rebel (former royal)) - son of the dark fairy (clarification: in this au scott acts nothing like faybelle, he’s an absolute sweetheart in this don’t worry)

jordana jester (royal) - daughter of the joker card

vania beauty (rebel (former royal)) - daughter of sleeping beauty

akita blanc (royal) - daughter of the white rabbit

morro huntsman (rebel) - son of the huntsman (snow white)

wyldfyre (rebel) - daughter of beauty (beauty and the beast)

wu - FSM’s son, resident man-trapped-in-the-library-and-forced-to-speak-riddlish of the AU

garmadon - lloyd’s father, the evil king, wu’s brother and FSM’s son

You let out a sigh as you stared at the night sky. Stars shining brightly whilst the party was going on behind you.

"What is the evil princess doing here?" You turn your head to see a floating smile. You smiled and shook your head.

"Stop it, Beomgyu," you threw a rock at him. He dodged it before he finally shows himself. Sparkling particles comes out from him when he transforms to his visible side.

"Also, I'm not evil!" You glared at him whilst he only laughed.

"The daughter of the evil Queen is not evil? You're totally not on the same page," you both turn around to see the son of the Pied Piper, Kang Taehyun.

"I don't need that reminder, Taehyun," you rolled your eyes. You both notice Beomgyu staring into the entrance of the balcony. The three of you saw the three princes loved by everyone.

Choi Yeonjun, son of King Charming and his best friend, Choi Soobin, son of the Little Mermaid. They were talking to the one and only son of Snow White, Huening Kai... Aka your secret boyfriend.

"Beomgyu, don't plan anything stupid," Taehyun says when they saw the 3 royals be surrounded by girls.

"Pft- as if! I'm not the type of person to do that!" Beomgyu says whilst you cross your arms.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who's on the wrong page." You say and Taehyun laughed which caught the attention of the 3 royals. The three princes slowly makes their way towards you three.

"Gotta knead," Beomgyu purred before he disappears. You look at Taehyun and frowned, "you too?"

"Hey, I know Beomgyu will stay here," he picks up the rock you threw and throw it at a certain direction. It bounced back when it hit mid-air and you all heard a groan.

Beomgyu shows himself once more.

"You are such a sourpuss!" Beomgyu shouts and throws the rock back at Taehyun who dodged it. "You're the cat here!"

The two begins to argue whilst you turn your attention to the 3 princes. "What brings you here, your royal highnesses?"

Soobin and Yeonjun looks at Huening Kai who has a wide smile whilst looking at you. He stares at you; your beauty for the night has been driving him crazy.

"I've been meaning to ask you if you want to have a picnic with me again tomorrow at our usual spot?" He asked, the boys who were listening awed at his confession.

"Aw, of course, Hyuka," you chuckled.

"It must be troublesome to hide your relationship," Soobin frowned. The pained expression they often see on Huening Kai's face whenever they talk about destinies.

"Tell me about it," Taehyun muttered.

"It's Cat-astrophic!" Beomgyu stands on the baluster. Yeonjun tilted his head,

"Won't you fall from there?" Beomgyu laughed at what he said before he does a flip and lands on the same spot on the baluster.

"Son of the Cheshire Cat~ I always land on my feet!" Beomgyu says before Taehyun slightly pushes his leg off. Beomgyu panics when he lost balance and immediately gets off the baluster.

"But we are also sensitive to scares," he glared at Taehyun who laughed. You roll your eyes at the endless fight of your best friends before looking at Huening Kai.

"I'll wait for you then."

You moved the flowery vines to the side and saw Huening Kai already there. He noticed your presence and waved his arm.

You smiled and sat beside him.

"We just had a picnic before yesterday, what seems to bite your apple to ask me again?" You asked before you took a bite of the blueberry cheesecake.

Huening Kai takes a deep breath, he clasps your hand with his before he turns his figure to look at you directly.

"Y/n, I want you to run away with me," and you choke on your food. He quickly gives you water to drink whilst you reclaim your composure.

"Hyuka, are you crazy? You're the future king of this world! You cannot give up your destiny for a rebel like me!" You gripped on his hand tighter while he only frowns.

"But y/n, I'm not only doing this for you! I love you and I'm doing it for us! Let's run away, forget about our said destinies and have our own happily ever after." He says, tears form in his glossy eyes you love so much.

You sigh in disbelief as visions run through your head. You can't... No matter what happens, you want Huening Kai's destiny to depend on your legacy.

You're his sworn enemy, the person who poisons him, and give him his happily ever after. However, here you are, with the future king as your boyfriend, talking about running away together.

"Hyuka, you need to think about this- if we run away, our family's legacy won't continue! It will disappear and this world will lose you, its future king,"

"Y/n, do you really want to be trapped in prison like your mother because she poisoned mine? I don't want that to happen to you while I rule a kingdom with some princess I don't love." He caresses your hair before he kisses your cheek.

"Let's close our chapters and write our own destiny," he mutters. You bite your lips, feeling too pressured to say anything else. You lower your head, unsure of what to say.

"I'm sorry, Hyuka but the life of this kingdom depends on you. You're the son of Snow White, the queen of Ever After! You cannot-,"

"Stop repeating your words, y/n. I want to run away with you and that's the end of my destiny. It's time we write our own and have our own happily ever after. I love you, you know that," he embraces you tightly.

"I ensure you that everything will be okay and that we will be happy together. I don't care about our destinies! If it means to close the chapter of my story for you then call me, Huening Kai, the rebel!" He cheers loudly and you laughed.

"How about let's not run away and I don't know- tell everyone first?" You caressed his hair. He tilted his head and nodded before he kissed your hand.

"Then you run away with me."

Piper is the one that suggested it cause he read that it would help with Cheshire’s CPTSD and he was right.

Cheshire and Kitty(when he was able to be with his dad) never really had a home. Like technically they did but they didn’t own that house and it wasn’t much of a home. Screaming, throwing things, clouds of pepper everywhere not ideal for a house to feel like home.

So when Cheshire moves into Fife’s house, he’s shocked that their house was quiet. Aside from the occasional music, the Piper’s lived very much in silence. It kinda freaked Cheshire out a lot at first. It was very strange to him to not have to endure the seemingly constant yelling and sounds of broken kitchen utensils.

Fife gives him a sense of real stability and while it takes time to get used to, he still appreciates it.

Piper getting insecure because he’s gained weight now that he’s older and thinks that maybe Cheshire deep down is let down since when they last saw each other he was skinny but Cheshire then goes WHAT?? HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!? And beats him up with kisses

Thinking about my Chesper fankid idea and like

If I introduce them as their bio kid, there’s gonna be quite a lot of people sexualizing Cheshire which there’s already a gross amount of it and I don’t want that on my own post

But if I introduce them as their adopted kid, someone might come into the notes to go Omg Piper kidnapped yet another kid which I also don’t like

So I’m straight up contemplating doing this at this point
