it’s my OC guy! it’s mostly him loving his stubble (he’s finally on T) and showing off his top scars

i kind of hate this page too, but i spent too much time on it to not be a little proud. hooray for pickle Marcy! i didn’t draw the tubes cause i suck at it and it would probably look stupid

last but not least, the last page in my sketchbook, isssss… me! in the sort-of suit that i wore last week! it was great :D

also my son in his suit, but i’m mostly here for my outfit. it was nice dark blue jeans, a white button up shirt, and my brother’s blue suit jacket. i should color it digitally… man do i wish i’d taken pictures, i guess i was distracted by how awesome i looked

and no, Snowball has no idea how to wear hats. he’s very silly.

"bisexuals wear denim jackets"/"stay tuned". darcycoreverse (ok that one is an obscure niche tumblr thing and im quite biased due to starting it but im still saying it). thinking marcy would get saved in fight or flight when we first got the summaries. you had to be there. you just had to be there.

What if Andrias turned her into a literal brain in a jar to use as biological hardware for the Core because her brain is more powerful by any computer ever built in Amphibia so he gets rid of her body entirely like literally taking out her brain from her skull and throwing the body into the trash. And now she's just a blob of grey matter floating inside a pickle jar with all of these wires connected to her. And she doesn't have eyes or ears or a full nervous system so she can't see or hear or feel anything around her but pain pain pain but she can still think and feel through the paralyzing terror and she thinks she knows what's happening to her but it's so horrifying she desperately clings to the hope that it's just a nightmare, or that she'll just die soon, but nope! Andrias and the Core are keeping what's left of her alive. And it's all very real. Her body has been destroyed. Oh, but don't worry! He installed cameras all over the palace through which she can see, and look, they can even communicate through chat! There are microphones too, through which she can hear. And don't you worry, he's working on a new body for her. Well, it's not for her, but the brain would go in it. A slick metal exoskeleton for his Lord.

When Anne finds her, and realizes she can communicate with her, all Marcy can write back is "Anne, I'm scared".

Hey Marci. I’ve been in a bit of a pickle lately and am looking for some advice. I’ve been in and out of touch with my practice for around a decade now. I’ve done magical workings that have seemed to have successful outcomes, but after this last spiritual drought of mine, I’m having a really hard time getting back into it. I believe that my workings have been successful in the past because I could *feel* what I was doing. I had that full, unwavering belief running through my body, but now it falls faulty. I just can’t get myself to feel it anymore, but I really want to. Do you have any suggestions for rebuilding that confidence?

I totally understand how you feel. Sometimes, we can get in this rut where what used to work in our craft just doesn't feel right.

This is when I recommend doing something different from what you would consider your normal practice and start small. That belief in your workings will come with time. For example, if a professional athlete took a sabbatical, they would never just get in there and run a marathon as soon as they decided to get back into running. So start small but creative.

When I get into these sorts of ruts, I love to bake for my friends, family, neighbours, or coworkers and infuse magic into my baking. I find that the act of creating things for someone else often helps challenge me to use fruits or herbs I have growing in my garden. Sometimes, I also craft spells for other people as this challenges me to consider their situation and what possible components would be appropriate.

As you do little things and see the success of your workings, you will reconnect with the feel of your magic. Take it slow. There's no rush.

Rough concept I'm considering that, from my understanding, is something almost everyone's already considered— eye colours for Calamity Trio, pre- and post-Amphibia events

For Anne, I imagine that she originally had brown eyes, but after the whole "dying and being replaced by a God's backup file of her" thing her eyes turned to a Sunflower pattern— aka blue with a gold ring around the pupil!

For Marcy, I think her eyes were also brown— maybe darker than Anne's— but in a similar sense to the "green blood" thing, her eyes turned more hazel-ish (or maybe full green?) for a while after the Pickle Jar. Same as how her blood would eventually go back to normal the green also faded from her eyes over time, and around epilogue-ish is only really visible in certain lighting or if she's wearing green!

For Sasha, I've not got a pic, and it's not much of a change— I'm mostly convinced her eyes are blue, and maybe there are some red flecks sprinkled in there after going full-Calamity, but nothing super huge!

Anyways, those are my horribly cliché headcanons and I'm probably sticking to them!
