Welsh cakes or picau ar y maen are flat little, almost scone-like cakes with sultanas and raisins and spiced with things like cinnamon and nutmeg! They're delicious and a cornerstone in Welsh culture!

trying to get an actual art post out before I head to bed so here's a sloppy painting I did to jus practice drawign them. they're a little off lookin cause I didn't actually fully refine/check things so pls ignore their ugliness (mostly shadow i gave up on him... forgive me)

I don’t bake, but there are these traditional Welsh cookies called picau ar y maen and if memory serves me well, they are fried. You’d have to google the recipe, though.

maybe you and the baking girlies can help. I don't have an oven, only a microwave and a stove. is there anyway i can bake something nice?
