Dorothy was still new to the whole manga and comic thing, but she had fallen in love with a few shoujo titles and begged Emily to help her make a costume to match with Lyric’s. Considering her newly acquired feline, the kitty costume seemed the best option.

She was still incredibly nervous about going to Leuda, and if Lyric hadn’t promised to escort her, she might have just stayed at home, but... There was something about having a... Boyfriend... That gave her the courage to make the journey.

Matching costumes were a must for the mayoral family of Leuda. They were, after all, the ones throwing the celebration in the first place. Plus, they really wanted Mia’s first real Halloween to be something fun. Having he and his wife dressed up as greasers and their daughter as the iconic Pink Lady, Luke and Sofia were ready to get lots of photos taken of them for their family costume. Plus, it made Luke feel really cool to wear a leather jacket...

{ 𝒮ofia & 𝓜ia’s 𝒜ttire - 𝒞ostume 𝒫arty ღ }

•｡ ✿ 𝒲hereas planning your Halloween costume to coordinate with your significant other was exciting, the truest thrill was planning a family costume theme for a party - and since they were prominent figures on the island of Leuda, it was crucial to make a first impression that would be one to remember as - essentially - the First Family of Leuda. Therefore, to play into the idea that she was a good girl turned bad by yours truly - the Mayor himself - she decided to be like the iconic couple from the film Grease.

𝒮he giggled, applying the remainder of her cherry red lipstick in the mirror whilst posing in her high heels and black velvet tights - feeling silly as all can be wearing clothing that was not a dress or a skirt; alas, it was all in the spirit of the holiday - and it would not be quintessential without dolling up her baby girl as one of the pink ladies from the film as well. They may have been dressed opposite of each other, but together with Luke, she knew they would be beautiful - and prepared to slay.

Was it a little excessive to have *two* costumes for Halloween? Maybe, but when you got to Ayame’s age, you had fun wherever you could. In this case, wearing a generic angel costume during the day, and changing into a plague doctor costume at night. The latter of course she hoped to use to troll people a little bit. Scaring people on Halloween was part of the fun. Besides, what couple didn’t like a little scare to send them into the arms of their beloved? Or their crush, if they hadn’t gotten to that couple stage yet?

It wasn’t like she had anyone to attend a party with, so she would do her best to have a little bit of fun this year. Besides, it wasn’t like anyone would recognize her with that huge mask on anyway. And if it was too scary, she would just make sure to stash her original costume somewhere, in case she needed to change in a hurry.

Happy Halloween indeed.

Leah fussed over her hair a bit on her way to the event, and tried not to fuss- again- over the way the vines, leaves and flowers that dripped down her skirt lay against the gauzy material. 

Tonight would be fun, and maybe someone would bid on her last dance. It...it would be nice, if someone did. She’d been without companionship for longer than she’d like.

Was Sleeping Beauty a bit too easy? Whatever, Karina was far too lazy to worry about something like that. Same with dying her hair. It just wasn’t happening, way too much effort. She’d just leave her silver hair as it normally was. 

Not that she was even sure why she was going to this party. It wasn’t as if she had anyone in particular she was hoping to dance with or even meet up with (she wasn’t even sure if her cousin or friends from Arcadia would be in attendance after all). But hey, there’d be food there and maybe she’d finally meet her prince charming (or fellow princess). It could happen!

[ Owen’s Attire - Costume Party ✩ ]

•｡ ☼ Let it be known that when it came to parties, Owen was there and always prepared for a great night - especially when alcoholic beverages were involved, for he can take them back like a pro; nonetheless, he didn’t need them in order to have a good time - what he enjoyed most about festivities such as this one is spending time with awesome people and meeting new individuals. He had been having pretty good luck with the most recent event in acquainting a stranger, so he hoped that those same positive vibes spread on to this costume party.

Of course, he was experiencing a debacle on what to dress up as - and with the support of his little cousin overseas, they determined that he was indeed built like a god. Naturally, he selected a white robe and gold accessories to portray a Greek God - with the emphasis on his muscles and figure overall. He never boasted, but it also didn’t mean that he couldn’t be proud.

Nina was always ready for a good costume party, and this year was no different from any other. She did a twirl in front of her mirror, watching the poodle skirt fly around in a whirl of colour. Her appearance made her giggle, but she was pleased no less. 

She wondered what Mikoto would think of the outfit, and the thought brought a shy smile to her face as she stared at her reflection. She could hardly wait to see what the officer would choose to wear! She just knew it would be something to make them look even more handsome than ever! She’d have to text and make sure they’d be going.

Minori supposed it was overdue time for her to visit Rod on Leuda, so she figured the Halloween party would be a good excuse. Besides, Minori had a good time dressing up, and if there was a contest, that just made it better. She would be the cutest cow ever! But not too skanky... She just.. She couldn’t do it.

As she got off the boat in her costume, she fiddled with her headband, a wide grin on her face as she bounded off toward the party. Hopefully finding Rod, or any of her other friends, wouldn’t be too difficult.

As much as Sofia wanted their little girl to be Wendy Darling for halloween, Mia had her own plans. Rebellious compliance would certainly be an accurate term for what Luke and Sofia’s rambunctious toddler had in mind. Luke was to be Captain Hook, and Mia saw the pirate costume and immediately wanted to be a pirate too, much to her mother’s distress. 

Having to make a deal with their child, the parents gave Mia a plastic sword and an eye patch as long as the little girl agreed to wear the Wendy dress. Luke also had to offer up an extra piece of candy, but the deal was made. At least their family costume wasn’t entirely in jeopardy...

Dorothy wasn’t sure why she was entertaining the idea of attending this party. Going to Leuda seemed like a daunting task, and although she loved costume parties, she generally preferred to look at them - not participate. She liked that this costume had a hooded cloak, so she could hide her face if she needed to, but... 

Could she really venture to Leuda and back on her own? And interact with all of those strangers?

The thought made her heart race and she heaved a sigh before flopping down on her bed next to Fern. Plucking the doll up from her place on her bed, Dorothy stared up at her as if hoping she might offer some advice.
