I met this person in a dream once. Only, I can not seem to remember what they looked like. They were absolutely beautiful. I know this because I can remember my heart beating through my chest as they stared at me. I didn’t belong there. I was lost. Looking for something that could possibly make me sane again. Whole again. See, I don’t exactly know who I am anymore. To people, I am a cashier living in a cheap apartment with no air conditioning. I eat bagels for dinner and never tie my shoes. You may ask, “How can someone who does not know who they are describe themself ?” My answer to you is that what you do does not make you who you are, who you are creates the things you do. Every night I go to sleep completely detached my from body. Maybe life isn’t about finding this deep individual hidden inside of you. Maybe it’s about traveling through the inner world of yourself, meeting new people within yourself. People search for something inside of them to possibly love forever. I on the other hand would rather continue this journey of loneliness and self discovery. Maybe the beautiful being I saw in the woods that night in my dream wasn’t beautiful at all. Because loneliness is not beautiful. But dreams are. And I dream in color. But my world is grey.

I constantly feel like there are eyes on me at all times. Not that I’m being watched, but judged. I can feel an overwhelming sense that I am somehow less of a person and my mind isn’t functioning properly. 

When I walk outside I sometimes get attacked by bees. Sometimes my allergies kick in as if every flower in the vicinity had spit pollen at me. I’ve tripped on vines that have no place in the middle of my walkway. 

I’m not sure what it is, but once I leave my front door, I feel fine again. Confidence returns in droves, but the feeling of inadequacy always returns. 

I feel judged, and I don’t know why.

Euphoria: a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.

(you can clearly understand by watching the show that the name itself (Euphoria) is a proposition of each of the characters lives).

They all distract themselves w/ things that are clearly bad for them to try and forget about their actual problems. They find happiness through they’re own distractions and destructions they don’t realize they create for themselves until it slaps them in the face.
