ABUJA, Nigeria (AP) — The mining of minerals critical to electric vehicle batteries and other green technologies in Congo has led to human rights abuses, including forced evictions and physical assault, according to a new report from Amnesty International and another rights group.
Congo is by far the world’s largest producer of cobalt, a mineral used to make lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and other products, and it is also Africa’s top producer of copper, which is used in EVs, renewable energy systems and more.
Rights groups and U.S. officials have long criticized the trade of Congo’s cobalt, copper and other minerals due to abusive labor and the risk of violence in an impoverished central African country where militants control swaths of territory.
A measure was introduced in the U.S. House in July to ban imported products containing cobalt and copper and mined through child labor and other abusive conditions in Congo.
The report released Tuesday by Amnesty International and the Congo-based Initiative for Good Governance and Human Rights, or IBGDH, details how the search for the minerals has forcibly uprooted people from their homes and farmland, often without compensation or adequate resettlement.
The groups said they interviewed 133 people affected by evictions related to cobalt and copper mining in six locations around the city of Kolwezi in Lualaba Province during separate visits in February and September 2022. They also reviewed documents, photos, videos, satellite images and company responses.
The report highlights the numerous human rights violations that have occurred as a result of mining activity. In one case, Congolese soldiers burned down the Mukunbi settlement in the southern province of Lualaba in November 2016 to make way for cobalt and copper mining by Dubai-based Chemaf Resources. Residents who tried to stop the military were beaten, according to the report. The fire, which left a 2-year-old girl with life-altering scars, and the assault had followed initial warnings delivered to residents by company executives escorted by police.
“Ernest Miji, the local chief, said that in 2015, after Chemaf acquired the concession, three representatives of the company, accompanied by two police officers, came to tell him it was time for Mukumbi’s residents to move away. He said the representatives visited four more times,” the report said.
Following protests in 2019, Chemaf agreed to pay $1.5 million through local authorities, with some former residents receiving between $50 and $300, which the local advocacy group Coalition for Safeguarding of Human Rights called an undervaluation of victims’ properties.
Chemaf denied any wrongdoing, liability or involvement in the destruction of Mukumbi or directing military forces to destroy it, the company told Amnesty International.
On its website, Chemaf says the copper and cobalt project is at the heart of its ambitious growth and would consolidate its position as a leader in the production of those minerals.
The report also highlighted a neighborhood in Kolwezi, home to 39,000 people, that has been facing continuous demolitions since 2015 to make way for an open-pit copper and cobalt mine. The mine is operated by Compagnie Minière de Musonoie Global SAS, or COMMUS, a joint venture between Chinese company Zijin Mining and the state-owned Gecamines mining company.
Those who were forced out said they were not adequately consulted, while COMMUS said it aimed to improve its communications, according to the report.
The company asserted that it already has made compensation payments calculated by the provincial government’s relocation committee to ensure residents' quality of life was not affected.
“The compensation prices of COMMUS for housing and land were higher than market prices,” according to a letter that the company sent to the rights groups.
But the groups denied it was enough.
“Despite claims by the company that its compensation package was set to ensure living standards were not affected, none of the former residents of Cité Gécamines that researchers interviewed said that they were able to afford substitute housing with the same amenities as the houses that they were forced to leave,” the report said.
Donat Kambola, president of the IBGDH group that co-wrote the report, said in a statement that “people are being forcibly evicted, or threatened or intimidated into leaving their homes, or misled into consenting to derisory settlements. Often there was no grievance mechanism, accountability, or access to justice.”
Amnesty International says companies are not doing enough to address human rights concerns and are disregarding international human rights laws and standards, as well as national legislation and U.N. Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
As the world demands more green technologies to reduce climate-changing emissions, the extraction of minerals for these products is causing social and environmental harm, the group said.
“Amnesty International recognizes the vital function of rechargeable batteries in the energy transition from fossil fuels. But climate justice demands a just transition. Decarbonizing the global economy must not lead to further human rights violations,” it said.

Finding the Perfect Fit: Considerations for Choosing Your Expert
Your goals and vision will determine which of the many skilled photographers and videographers Dubai offers to help you choose the right partner. Here are some important things to consider about:
Portfolio Review: Spend time browsing potential candidates' online portfolios to understand their style and ensure it aligns with your vision. Look for a compatible aesthetic that resonates with your liking, whether a surprising, high-contrast design for architectural photography or a light and airy approach for portraits.
Knowledge and Skill: Seek out experts in your chosen field, such as architectural photography or documenting hectic events. Look beyond the number of years of experience to determine if the photographer or videographer has worked on projects or with clients similar to yours by looking through their client portfolio.
Collaboration and Communication: To provide a productive and satisfying encounter, look for somebody with whom you can share your ideas and choices. Please set up a consultation to assess their communication style and personality. Your ideal fit will be someone who actively listens to your vision, makes innovative suggestions, and creates a collaborative environment where you feel comfortable sharing your ideas.
Rates and Budget: Establish a budget in advance and ask the photographers or videographers you have narrowed down for quotations. Be open and honest about the expectations and scope of your project. Never be scared to haggle, but remember that sometimes the best deals are only those with the lowest price.
Customer Testimonials: Review previous customer reviews and testimonies to learn more about the work ethic, responsiveness, and quality of work the photographer or videographer can do.
Collaborations with Brands and Events

This technology gives viewers interesting new ways to interact with information by improving storytelling. Dubai's forward-thinking attitude to technology means that its experts in photography and videography are constantly at the forefront of invention and creativity, pushing the limits and setting new standards in visual communication.
The Value of Local Knowledge
A photographer or videographer in Dubai adds value beyond technical expertise with local understanding. They know the best spots for photos, the hidden treasures of the city, and the subtleties of navigating different areas. This knowledge results in more seamless shoot coordination, effective time management, and a stronger bond with the city's distinct character captured in your finished shots.
An architectural photographer at Me Focus, who is experienced in capturing Dubai's always-changing scenery, can suggest the ideal time of day to get golden light photos of the Burj Khalifa. For your sunset photos, a travel photographer may know of a remote location in the desert with stunning all-around vistas. Local knowledge also makes obtaining permits to visit particular areas easier, making the shooting process less stressful.
Conclusion: Elevate Your Vision with Dubai's Experts
The professionals at Me Focus, Dubai, specializing in photography and videography, including videography service Dubai, are more than just those with cameras. They are visionaries, inventors, and storytellers who enhance visual experiences and make a lasting impression on viewers worldwide. Russian stealth hunting Su-57 is ready for export
Announcement was made by FSMTC employees at the Dubai Air Show.
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 11/14/2023 - 08:31am Dubai Air Show, Military
Russia is ready to receive export orders for its Su-57 poaching after completing its development program.
Officials of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) declared at the ongoing Dubai Air Show that, "if our foreign partners contact us, we are ready to start working on this topic". They noted that several customers are already showing “growing interest” in Su-57 aircraft.
Since the end of 2022, the Russian Aerospace Forces have received three batches of Su-57, most of which are actively involved in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Notably, some of these aircraft have the latest 'Product 30' engine, also recognized as the 'second stage', improving the thrust and super crucing capabilities of the stealth jet.
The Su-57 launches missiles and bombs from its internal compartment - an exclusive feature shared only by a few selected aircraft around the world.
In the field of fifth-generation aircraft available for export, the Russian Su-57 is next to the F-35 as a singular competitor.
Rostec's recent announcement announces the start of the 5ª generation Su-57 serial multifunctional fighter equipment with 2º stage post-combustion turbojet engines, labeled as 'Product 30'. With a post-combustion thrust of 18,000 kgf and a maximum thrust of 11,000 kgf, this advance amplifies the thrust-to-weight ratio of vehicles by 1.2 times (increasing from 1.13 to 1.36 kgf/kg with normal takeoff weight with 63% fuel).
This improvement translates into an increased ascent rate, ranging from 330 to 340-350 m/s, along with an increase in angular velocity during constant curves. In addition, it raises the service ceiling and supersonic cruise flight speed to 2,150-2,200 km/h and the maximum speed to an impressive 2,600-2,700 km/h.
Notably, the engines at the center of this advance were created by the team of the JSC Salyut Gas Turbine Research and Production Center.

Instagram And Art
Instagram has more than 500 million daily users, and its focus on images has made it especially popular among those who make and appreciate art. We are all just singular humans rooted in space and time, but Instagram gives us access to creative production all around the world, whenever we want it. Hooray! But what is it doing to us? Is it changing the way we interact with and experience art?
The benefits of using Instagram became clear pretty soon after it launched in 2010, for institutions and individuals alike. For photographers and designers and artists of all kinds, Instagram is your own free gallery. Well, if you don't count the cost of giving away your data and attention to advertisements, but it does give power to artists who represent themselves outside of traditional systems. You don't have to wait to be taken on by a gallery or make the kind of work a gallery thinks they can sell. You hold the reigns and can show your art how you'd like it to be seen. You can share aspects of your process and demonstrate that you are a person outside of your work...
Art history has tended to provide us only a handful of iconic images of artists seriously engaged in their work or posed with a painting conveniently in the background, but Instagram gives us views into the daily lives of a multitude of artists, making visible the diversity of the individuals producing art today and allowing each the ability to represent themselves, and Instagram is an outstanding networking tool, allowing you to not only build and cultivate community among other artists, but also speak directly to followers, fans, and potential collectors.
When most commercial galleries take 50% of a sale, the ability to connect to potential buyers without a middle person can be a real boon. As galleries are painfully aware, rent is high and employing people is expensive. While showing your work in person may be the ideal scenario, it's not always feasible, especially if you live in a place that isn't a cultural mecca, which is most places.
Does Instagram favor particular kinds of work? Heck yes. Square! Bright! Easily legible! Immersive! Some artworks come across better in photos than others, but most can figure out a way around these problems if they want to, and plenty of artists have used the platform as a strategic aspect of their work, recruiting participants and fundraising for performances and events, and sharing documentation with those who can't be there in person.
Some have used the images they find on Instagram to make actual works in real life. Ai Wei Wei has consistently shown us the power of social media to bear witness to his own experience of censorship and to injustice and suffering around the world, all of which are integral to the work he presents in museums and galleries, but Instagram can be a limiting influence for artists just as it's an empowering one. Like the rest of us, artists are susceptible to the dopamine rush that comes from likes and instant feedback. Artist Andrea Crespo admitted in a 2018 Vulture article, "Reward systems in social media were influencing my decisions while art making. I would think about what people would think based off of likes and comments."
Artists have long sat out insight and criticism from friends and colleagues, but more often than not, the feedback offered on Instagram is superficial or purely congratulatory or when offered by anonymous strangers, unconstructively cruel. Exposing your work on Instagram can also make it vulnerable to copycats, other artists as well as companies just trying to decorate their stores. An artist doesn't have to have their own account for this to happen either. Anyone can snap a pic of your work and post it with your name associated, making you present on Instagram even if you don't want to be, and what about Instagram's effects on museums and galleries?
Most not-for-profit institutions have missions that involve sharing their collections with the public, and their publics used to have pretty finite geographical boundaries...
Today, their conception of public can be much more expansive and inclusive. They can now try to create meaningful experiences with art for anyone with an internet connection and Instagram plays a big role in these efforts.
Museums have the problem of only being in one place. You've got to take the bus or drive and pay for parking and do all the walking. Social media platforms give museums a way of reaching people where they are, sharing works from their collection, promoting special exhibitions, and luring people out of their hidey holes with glimpses of the cool things they can be doing out in the world, and the magical part is that it doesn't have to be one way communication anymore. For so long, museums were the authority, imparting knowledge upon the huddled masses, but with social media, the huddled masses can easily impart their knowledge on the authority, explaining what they value about their experiences and what they don't.
If art museums are trying to show us the best of what's around, the peak moments in human creativity, do we want them heavily weighing Instagrammability when deciding what shows to devote money and scholarship to?
The answer doesn't have to be yes or no, and museums often navigate this by creating Insta-worthy moments within exhibitions, even if the art itself isn't so Insta-friendly...
For some, it might just be, art is cool. Me is cool, too, but I think there is more to it, or at least there can be. The research on this is just beginning, but a study of one exhibition in 2014 suggested that visitors use Instagram in meaningful ways to promote the exhibition, not replacing the in-person experience, but encouraging others to see it for themselves. The study found that visitors' use of Instagram was actually connected to their aesthetic experience. They captured mostly close-up images of the objects in the show and focused on their details. Only 9% of the images in the dataset included people.
Now, this was just one single exhibition in Sydney, Australia about the history of shoe design from the 1500s to the present. It was not a Kusama infinity room, where almost any photo is a selfie, but it's still showing, at least in one case, what I'd call real engagement with the objects. What we're really getting to here is how we construct meaning around art, right? Like, the old way was to just look at the thing, walk around it, observe it, and maybe read about it and talk about it with others.
Perhaps the camera and Instagram are tools we now use in this construction of meaning, revealing details we might not have noticed through our eyes alone, selecting and framing alternative views of the art. Does this add to the way we understand art or does it replace the traditional methods of direct observation and reflection? If, on average, we only look at a work of art for seven seconds, does our photographing it extend our engagement or does it take the place of what might have been a more fulfilling experience? Is one way better than the other or in the wise words of the internet's favorite young lass, "Why don't we have both?"
...One study published in 2017 found that taking photos with the intention to share them on social media actually undermines your enjoyment of the thing you're experiencing, increasing your feelings of anxiety. By worrying about presenting yourself in a positive light, you've lessened your engagement with the experience.
One of the co-authors of the study Alixandra Barasch, suggests you might take the pictures but wait until after the experience to share them, or you might even just take pictures for your own memories, which I think we can all agree is weird. I mean, who does that? But it's complicated. I really enjoy virtually visiting artworks and shows I can't get to by following artists and museums and galleries and curators on Instagram, and by exploring hashtags and geotags, I can find out about the ways other people experience the art I can get to. Like when I visited Prada Marfa in the middle of nowhere, Texas, I spent mediated as well as unmediated time at the site, but later, I found it really enriching to discover who else had been there, famous and not famous, years ago or just an hour before or after I did. This expanded my experience of it, extending the work beyond just an interaction between me and the art.
...Now, of course seeing an image of an artwork on a phone is not as good as being there, but social media gives us access to art and ideas that were previously off-limits for many of us due to geography or privilege and sharing art on Instagram is clearly something people want to be doing, at least right now. Museums would be foolish to ignore or resist our strong impulse to capture and share our experiences, but hopefully, we'll all evolve better, healthier ways of doing so, ways that deepen our engagement instead of making it more superficial.
Instagram can't last forever. No platform does. Maybe one day, we'll just get tired of filtering our lives through screens and museums will still be there for us. Not as stage sets for our individual dramas, but as destinations in themselves, whole places filled with voices and visions, past and present, where we can come together and interact in real time and real space, or maybe we'll come to some sort of equilibrium between those poles. Until then, I'll see you on Instagram.

Providing an exceptional user experience (UX) has become a non-negotiable requirement in the digital world of e-commerce, where consumer expectations are higher than ever. Creating a user-friendly platform that increases conversions and takes your company to new heights of success is more important than merely making an attractive e-commerce website. ui ux design consultants swear on these ten design guidelines can help you boost your online sales:

Visual Appeal - Make an eye-catching website with top-notch photos, videos, and graphics that complement the visual identity of your company. Positive user experiences and improved brand recognition are two benefits of a unified style.
Priority to Mobile Optimization: By making your website mobile-friendly, you can capitalize on the growing popularity of mobile purchasing. To accommodate users that prefer mobile devices, make sure your material is readable, responsive, and easy to navigate.
High-quality Image - Make use of crisp, high-resolution photos that faithfully depict your goods. Users can examine details in many photos taken from various perspectives, giving prospective customers more confidence.
Convincing Product Description - Use pertinent keywords to create product descriptions that are clear, succinct, and educational for search engine optimization. Well-written descriptions draw more visitors and improve search ranking.
Strategic CTA Button Placement - Use call-to-action buttons that are both obvious and powerful throughout the user experience. Make them stand out from the crowd, be positioned carefully, and be conversion-optimized to direct consumers to the actions you want them to take.

How to Choose the Right Venue in Dubai for Corporate and Social Events
Dubai, with its stunning skyline and diverse venues, is a city where extraordinary events come to life. Whether you're planning a high-profile corporate gathering or a lively social celebration, choosing the right venue is the first step to creating an unforgettable experience.
Here's your guide to finding the perfect venue in Dubai, one that meets your event’s goals and leaves a lasting impression:
1. Define Your Event Type and Goals
The very first step in choosing your venue is to clearly define your event. Is it a corporate conference, seminar, or product launch? Or maybe it’s a wedding, gala, or private party? Corporate events generally call for professional, elegant spaces that provide an atmosphere of focus and productivity. Social events, on the other hand, allow for more creativity, fun, and relaxed settings. Knowing the tone you want to set will help you choose the venue that’s right for your needs.
2. Determine the Ideal Location
Dubai is known for its varied landscapes—each neighbourhood has its own character. Downtown Dubai offers a sleek, modern vibe ideal for corporate events, while areas like Jumeirah Beach or Dubai Marina provide a more luxurious, relaxed atmosphere perfect for social gatherings. Consider the location carefully, not just for its aesthetics but also for convenience. Will your guests need easy access to hotels, transport links, or leisure activities? Choose a location that aligns with your event’s vibe and the convenience of your attendees.
3. Set a Realistic Budget
Venue costs in Dubai can vary widely, so it’s crucial to set a clear budget from the start. Your budget should account for rental fees, catering, decor, and any extra services offered by the venue, such as lighting or AV equipment. It’s easy to get carried away with Dubai’s opulent venues, but staying within budget ensures that all aspects of the event receive the attention they deserve.
4. Estimate Guest Count and Capacity Needs
Knowing your guest list is key to selecting the right venue. Too small, and the event may feel cramped; too large, and it could feel empty. Make sure the venue’s capacity matches your estimated guest count. This ensures the event’s atmosphere remains vibrant, comfortable, and impactful.
5. Consider Accessibility and Transportation Options
Dubai has a world-class public transportation system, but ensuring your venue is accessible to all your guests is still essential. Choose a venue with good transport links, and provide clear parking or shuttle details for those driving. The easier it is for guests to arrive, the smoother your event will go.
6. Assess On-Site Facilities and Amenities
The right venue should offer the facilities that match the needs of your event. Corporate events often require projectors, audio systems, and fast Wi-Fi. Social events may need dance floors, photo booths, or catering kitchens. Check whether the venue has everything you need or if you’ll need to arrange third-party vendors. It's essential to confirm these details before you book.
7. Examine Layout and Flexibility
The layout of your venue will dictate the flow of your event. Whether you need breakout areas for a corporate seminar or a grand stage for a wedding, make sure the venue’s layout is flexible enough to support all activities. A venue with adaptable spaces ensures your event can evolve smoothly from start to finish.
8. Check for Vendor Flexibility
Some venues in Dubai have preferred vendors, while others may allow you to bring your own. If you have specific requirements, such as a favourite catering company or a particular band, ensure the venue is flexible in allowing outside vendors. This gives you more control over your event’s quality and atmosphere.
9. Consider Weather and Climate
Dubai’s weather can range from sweltering hot summers to mild, pleasant winters. When selecting your venue, think about the time of year and climate. For outdoor events, make sure there’s adequate shade or air-conditioning during the summer months. In cooler months, outdoor venues can be a stunning option. Always plan for temperature control to keep your guests comfortable.
10. Plan for Cultural Sensitivity and Local Regulations
If you’re coming from outside the region, it’s important to familiarise yourself with Dubai’s cultural norms and event regulations. Many venues are equipped to host international guests, but it's still vital to choose a venue that respects local customs. From catering options to entertainment, ensure that your venue can accommodate both local and international tastes while adhering to all necessary regulations.
Choosing the right venue in Dubai is crucial to the success of your event. Whether it’s for a corporate conference or a social celebration, understanding the city’s diverse venue options, climate considerations, and logistical factors will help you find the perfect location. By following this guide, you’ll be well on your way to hosting an event that aligns with your goals and exceeds expectations.

Company Interviews — Week 9-10
For the fifth part (Week 9-10) of our Technopreneurship project, we continued our journey of interviewing local businesses to gain further insights into the challenges and successes that they face. After speaking with twenty companies from the last eight weeks, we progressed back to the Divisoria area to learn more about the lives and experiences of business owners, employees, and their business operations. My group mates are Annriza Lam, Francis Padero, and Honey Rhose Petil, who I collaborated with for this project.
To gather the information that we needed, we printed out a questionnaire that contained separate questions for owners, employees, and general questions about the business. This serves as our guide. We also used our phones to record their responses and capture photos of the interview and the business, if ever the interviewees were comfortable with it.
1. PREMIUM BIKES
Captured by Honey Rhose Petil
We first visited a Premium Bikes branch located in T. Chavez Street, Barangay 4, which was established in 2018. According to our interviewee Nel Jun Camaro, who is the assistant marketing manager there, the company is under the retail industry as they sell motorcycles and facilitates financing by handling sales and marketing on behalf of BPI, which manages the financing process. They are a top motorcycle dealer for brands like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. Premium Bikes is also privately and fully owned by Gokongwei Group, who also own well-known companies such as Universal Robina Corporation (URC), Cebu Pacific Air, Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc., and many more. Premium Bikes currently has 213 branches within the Philippines, with Mindanao having 13 branches. More specifically, CDO and Bukidnon have 3 branches each, and Davao has 7.
2. ROSELAI’S COLLECTIONS
Captured by Honey Rhose Petil
After that, we then visited Roselai’s Collections located at Corner Velez-Chavez Street, Cagayan de Oro, which was established in May 2023. The business operates in the retail industry and specializes in selling ready-to-wear (RTW) clothing sourced from Dubai and Australia. Their product offerings include trendy crop tops, dresses, skirts, rompers, and bodysuits. The company is privately and fully owned, and currently operates two branches: one at Corner Velez-Chavez Street and a newer branch in C.M. Recto. In addition to these locations, the company participates in bazaars in malls and also during festivals in areas like Bukidnon. The company was founded by Roselyn Quijada, driven by her passion for fashion. According to Iris Jane Pahayac, the store supervisor, the owner is exploring opportunities in the beauty industry and plans to open a beauty salon in the future.
3. WILLOW CAFE
We then visited Willow Café, a Taylor Swift-inspired establishment located in J.R Borja Street. Opened on September 2, 2023, the café is under the food and beverage and retail industry, and is privately owned and fully operated by its founder, Mary Grace Palma, a devoted fan of Taylor Swift since 2009. According to our interviewee, JR Igorot, who serves as both barista and manager, the café offers a mix of services and products, including coffee, soda-based beverages, pastries, and meals like fries and chicken wings. They also sell unofficial Taylor Swift-themed merchandise. Willow Café operates as a single-branch business, with this location serving as its main office. Mary Grace Palma’s inspiration for the café stems from her love for Taylor Swift, reflected in the café’s ambiance and offerings. The business is still in its early stages, navigating growth with a vision of becoming a hub for fans and coffee enthusiasts alike.
4. HONYUN COMPUTER STORE
After that, we visited a Honyun Computer Store branch, located at Jr. Borja, Don Apolinar Velez Street, Cagayan de Oro. Established just four months ago, the business operates within the retail industry and specializes in second-hand laptops, brand-new monitors, and computer parts. According to Shiela Mae A. Palle, the store manager, Honyun also offers repair services and provides online appointment options to better cater to customer needs. The company is privately and fully owned, with two branches: the main branch in Iloilo and another in Cagayan de Oro. While the business is still in its early stages, it has gained traction through numerous resellers who contribute to its growing customer base.
5. DESMARK
Lastly, we visited a Desmark Corporation branch in Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City. Desmark operates in the retail industry, specializing in motorcycles, home appliances, and related services like spare parts, repairs, and maintenance. However, for this particular branch, they mainly sell Honda motorcycles. They are a privately owned company with the branch’s head office being in Cogon, Cagayan de Oro City. Established on March 1, 1988, in Butuan City, Desmark has grown to over 160 branches nationwide, spanning major cities and rural areas. This Divisoria branch has been serving the community since 2007. While the company continues to expand, the branch aims to boost its sales and enhance local service.

From the Brink of Ruin to Guru Nation: The Incredible Role of a PR Firm
Startups are like sailing a boat through the stormy sea. thrilling, but most times quite scary. My business was about to go bankrupt, and we were literally running out of choices. Yes, we had a good product and a wonderful team, but what good was it when our visibility was nothing? We were unknown. We did not have customers, and it was only a matter of time before our funds dried out. It was doom and gloom.
As a last resort, we opted to contact 9-Figure Media, a PR firm that was somewhat popular in our industry. We had been told time and again how well they performed when it came to doing things right and getting results fast. Although they were not based in Dubai, which was where we were trying to make our presence felt, they had been known as a top PR agency for startups.
The Continued Success with 9FigureMedia
From the first meeting with this reputable agency, we never had any doubt as to what they could do. They devoted their energy to learning about our business, the industry, who our consumers were, and how we fit into the landscape. Following this, they developed a public relations plan designed specifically to enhance knowledge of our brand and increase interest in our current customer base. The agency carved our brand’s story, identifying the aspects that set us apart from the rest, and the love we possess for our offering. They developed amazing stories that connected with people and enabled our tales to be real.
Again, using their primary contacts, this agency was able to get us into major publications and other famous blogs. Then we turned into a sensation. This did not only increase our recognition but we also received the validation that we sorely lacked. With their focused social media campaigns, were able to generate a lot of noise and interactions. They significantly enhanced our engagement by collaborating with influencers and industry leaders, resulting in a flood of new potential customers and followers.
Lest I forget, we had a hiccup in the launch of one of the products as we encountered a technical hurdle. 9-Figure Media’s dedicated crisis management had a plan on how to handle the situation and what could have been a catastrophe turned out to be handled well. Not only did this reduce the negative impact but improved our overall reputation as well.
The Reversal
The outcomes were staggering. More visitors were on our website and there was a flood of customers looking for answers. The coverage by the press and the activity on social media, in return, brought new customers, increased sales, and enhanced the company’s image further. The moment investors’ interests surfaced, we were able to secure the necessary funding to expand the business. It is amazing how a failed startup finally blossomed into a business. We became more visible, and even managed to secure a treasured client who had faith in us and in our offerings.
A Story of Achievement through the Help of a Good PR Agency
This case study also confirms the effectiveness of good PR together with the expertise of 9FigureMedia in all turnaround stories. It was not only a one-off service, but rather, they played an essential part in our journey as well. They work fast and are able to execute from anywhere which is why they are the best PR agency for startups.
What was initially a challenging situation for us turned into a success story with positive branding, thanks to 9-Figure Media. Today, our startup is a household name within the business space, and we owe a great deal of gratitude to the 9figuremedia team. If you seek the best PR agency for startups in need of brand awareness and publicity, there’s no way I can speak highly enough of 9FigureMedia.
