As a musician, Doof’s instrument of choice is the kazoo.

It always brightens my day to see doof on my dash, tbh.
I’m glad this blog’s been able to brighten your day!
#whenever i get asks like this i always imagine that doof would try to use his IRL popularity to take over the tri-state area somehow#i mean he already crossed over with our universe with that one Shark Tank special so....#(not to mention stuff like Take Two with Phineas & Ferb and 'Phineas and Ferb's Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne')#man that mixed media stuff is always weird since PnF seems to take place in just a slightly altered cartoon reality of our own#like they have in-universe versions of real people like jamie oliver ('Meatloaf Surprise')#and kelly clarkson ('A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas')#yet while obama is president there's also a dolphin as a world leader ('Phineas and Ferb Save Summer')#the pnfverse is just...a few steps to the left of our own and it's so wild#asks#anon

A Few Complaints about Disney+
There are a few problems I’ve noticed with my subscription to Disney+, as well as a few more that I’ve found out about online. This post is a compilation of the problems I know about right now.
Gravity Falls:
In the first 13 episodes, the symbol on Grunkle Stan’s fez was originally missing. As of this post, each episode except for Boss Mabel has been restored to its original version.
Several shows, including Star vs the Forces of Evil and Wander Over Yonder:
They were missing at launch.
Phineas and Ferb:
- The episodes in season 1 are completely out of order. You can find the correct order on the wiki.
- Summer Belongs to You is on there as a 2-part episode. It was shown that way in some international airings instead of the hour-long US version.
- Christmas Vacation is in its original, 22-minute version that aired in 2009, instead of its extended edition that aired in 2010.
- The season 4 episodes Mission Marvel, Save Summer, Star Wars Episode IVa, Night of the Living Pharmacists, Last Day of Summer, and The OWCA Files are also an hour long in their original versions. All of these episodes have been split.
- Season 4′s Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne is completely missing. (Almost as if they knew what a train wreck it was)

Everything Wrong With Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne
1.I don't usually talk about production stuff, but the production code for this is “440” which would somehow put it at the very end of the series, which makes no sense at all, especially with how cheap the thing looks.
2.This is the only episode that is not on Netflix. Huh.
3.Let's get this out of the way: The animation is done in flash which looks pretty lazy on their part. I know this was rushed but they did the normal animation for the first one fine, so I don't get the change here.
4.Obligatory Celebrity guest, which most kids have not heard of.
5.Wait, first Flash now Live Action? What if, the incredibly inferior modern day sequel to Roger Rabbit?
6. The shtick of them being unhappy with the guest is less funny when almost every fan did not like the guest either.
7.Plenty of sins on this giant list. First off, many of them are the innocent BMI titles.
8. And “Animatin'” is on there despite not being from the show itself.
9.Backyard Beach is listed twice in a row
10.Songs from way later in the Season are listed, which makes the whole really late production code more interesting.
11.Okay so slightly rocky start, but maybe the songs will bother people less- and we start with the one from the most hated episode, fantastic.
12. The Soundtrack version of Candace Party using the sound effects and the Phineas Phone bit still bothers me.
To be nice, I'll take off a sin for the funny banter Doof and Monogram still have
12.Of course they look stiff, they're flash animated today!
13.”You should try a cape” Edna Mode disapproves.
14.”Men” Oh shut up.
15.This episode came out too early to use the Full Version of I'm Me
16.This imagine of Doof and Monogram is a sin.
17.So dumb trends with dumb names wasn't invented the internet? (Cough Dabbing Cough)
18.They skip the Credits Verse of Aglet.
19.PHINBELLAAAAA!!!!1111
20.Doof needs to making his inventions take people to that baby alien dimension.
21.Hey finally, a song not from Season 2. It's almost like they should have done this in Season 3 for Season 2 songs and then done another on this season for Season 3/Movie songs.
22.Figures Disney would use this chance to promote one of their stars, but why didn't she host this thing instead of someone the kids haven't heard of?
23.Also, is the only requirement to host this, to have some kind of accent? ..Then why can't Doof host?!
24.These recycled audience shots are hilarious.
25.The bad grammar needed to fit in the Lorenzo joke is still dumb.
26.Weird that Perry would like a song from his nemesis, times two. At least in this case.
27.Carl has a crush on Mia Mitchell. That's hilarious but still weird, and a sin.
28.They did the Perry Noises bit already in Interview With a Platypus.
29.”So that next year the song can be on the countdown”. There was never a next year.
30.How did Doof know Mia Mitchell showed up?
31.We established last week, the rhyme for Orange is Door Hinge!
32.Also, the moon isn't even orange.
Whoa, SBTy isn't Number one! Sin off!
32.But wait, this fanbase didn't vote this number one? Shocking enough to be a sin.
33.Monogram's favorite song is There's a Platypus Controlling me? Huh.
34.Either Kelly rigged this to make her number one this, or she's lying for the kiddies.
35.Everything's Better with Perry? Eh, it's pretty good but not the best. Then again, I should blame the voters. Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos, I mean better songs
(The fact that she mentions the song by name shows they made this quickly in time for the winner to be decided, making it clear it was made long before the production code says it was. Just saying)
36.So no real Season 3 Songs made it on. Yeah, my point stands. I mean, Season 3 songs were up for vote, you know.
37. In the end, Doof only used like one evil plan here and the plot of Doof not wanting Kelly to host which kin of wasted.
38.”Say Goodbye, Doctor D” “Goodbye Doctor D” Ha Ha.
39.The original airing did not credit the writer or director.
40.Mia and Kelly are listed under Voice Talents, even though they were live action, not animate.
41. This is super nitpicky (I know, so unlike me) but clips from the countdown are shown in order...but the last 2 are swapped for some reason.
42. I didn't notice until now but without commercials, this is a full 30 minutes long, making this is a special. Huh.
EPISODE SIN TALLY: 42
SENTENCE: Spotlight stolen by someone who is not even done in the same medium as you. (I was stumped on this one, okay?)
Whoa, did not expect that many. Not sure how many the first one got, maybe it was this much, I'd have to look it up. Honestly, I don't mind this episode too much. I enjoy a lot of the comedy, even if the format is distracting and such. Both Episodes pretty much serve a utility, it's hard to get too mad.
And seriously, had no idea was this a full half hour until this viewing. Also, Netflix, what the heck on not having this on with the other episodes?
Anyway, that's it for this one. Tune in next week for a big sins pot that I think you've all been waiting for...

Could you list every time they used photorealistic images in the show? It can be just a few examples if it's too much work
Here’s most of them already (“Rollercoaster”/“Face Your Fear”/“Moon Farm”/“Sci-Fi Pie Fly”/“Phineas and Ferb Save Summer”/“Last Day of Summer”/“Candace Loses Her Head”/“Lights, Candace, Action!”/“Out to Launch”), but there’s also “Phineas and Ferb Busters!”
Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension,
and pretty much every time a planet is shown in the later seasons (“The Chronicles of Meap”/“We Call it Maze”/”Canderemy"?“Misperceived Monotreme”/“Escape From Phineas Tower”/“Mommy Can You Hear Me?”)!
#i'm assuming dwampy in 'Tri-Stone Area'/'Act Your Age'#and kelly osbourne in 'Phineas and Ferb's Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne' don't count#asks#anon

In Candance against the Universe they make a joke about being animated and show the storyboards and animators. Do you know any other times they reference being animated?
Hmm, if you’re talking about specifically being animated (versus just being in a cartoon in general), the show does so in “Tri-Stone Area”
and “Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne”
(and maybe “Act Your Age,” if it counts)!
If you count mixing mediums as also being a reference to that, here are some other instances as well.

On perry's wiki page, it says that the "dance baby" song is the second longest perry has smiled. Do you know what scene is THE longest he's smiled? :)
Hmmm, in terms of “scene,” i’m not entirely sure if “Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne” counts since, while it does clock in at 57 seconds, the episode itself is dubiously canon/canon-adjacent and it’s debatable at what point a scene stops when the entire episode is characters standing in the same spot in the same room.
If you don’t count that, then “Candace Disconnected” is actually the longest continuous Perry smile scene at nearly 22 seconds!
Outside of scenes/if we go into comprehensive compilations, Perry smiles for 44 seconds in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension
(19 seconds of that being the goodbye scene),
33 seconds in “Sidetracked”
(12 seconds of that being the Niagara Falls scene),
and 13 seconds in “La Candace-Cabra!”
*Note: I only counted the seconds when Perry’s smiling face is visible onscreen.

Overall, PnF has hundreds of songs and the PnF crew really loved reusing them (especially as short sound bites/instrumentals).
#i hope you guys are putting these mass summation answers to good use because i don't even really count them as facts (more like details)#i mean if i know a production/esque fact and it's relevant to an answer i'll pepper it in but you won't catch me straight up#posting stuff like 'Crumpets have been mentioned 4 times' or 'Doof and Perry have willingly held hands 4 times' as my daily facts#................odd that both of those things happened exactly 4 times each though.....hmmmmmmm.....#*X-Files theme plays*#nah i'm just jesting pbfffft#asks#anon#long post

It is very important to note that there are two Musical Cliptastic Countdowns. The first one (Phineas and Ferb's Musical Cliptastic Countdown) was in season 2 of the show, and had the songs Ready for the Bettys, Queen of Mars, Ain't Got Rhythm, I Love You Mom, E.V.I.L. B.O.Y.S., S.I.M.P., Little Brothers, Busted, Backyard Beach, and Gitchee Gitchee Goo, as well as Doofenshmirtz's song "My Name is Doof."
This first Musical Cliptastic Countdown is generally regarded as a genuinely funny, great episode of the show and IS on Disney+.
The second one (Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne) was in season 4 of the show, and for some reason had Kelly Osbourne in live-action and the animation was TERRIBLE. It had the songs Candace Party, Come Home Perry, I'm Me, A-G-L-E-T, City of Love, Summer Where Do We Begin?, Brand New Best Friend, There's a Platypus Controlling Me, Summer Belongs to You!, and Everything's Better with Perry.
The voting for the second cliptastic countdown was sketchy AF, and the episode overall just didn't have the charm of the first one. It isn't even available to stream (at least last I checked in the U.S.) and the only way I was ever able to watch it was an extremely low quality youtube video.
Phineas and Ferb Musical Cliptastic Countdown Hosted by Kelly Osbourne vs. Act Your Age
Again, you are voting for which episode is better. AKA, less terrible.
