Works to calm, nourish, and reduce redness Texture/Scent: - Thicker consistency, jelly/gel-like with a fine grit. Has a subtle citrus scent I find this exfoliating cleanser to be quite gentle. It has a fine grit (fun fact, exfoliant in this cleanser is silica that comes from shells of a marine algae) and I have seen no irritation from using. I move across my skin in circular motions for 30 seconds. It really does feel like you’ve just given yourself a mini facial when you rinse off. My skin is more smooth, soft, and visibly brighter after using. Over time this has helped improve the texture of my skin and has made my complexion more even toned. Philosophy says you can use this daily but I would suggest, especially if you have sensitive skin, by starting out using for only 2 days a week and slowly work your way up. But this is a great gentle exfoliating cleanser. PROS: ✅ Gentle.
