Basic: Memo Blink

Deals 50%-110% of ice damage based on Philomina's attack to a single enemy

Enhanced Basic: Eonian Memorabilia

Consume 1 stack of Frigid Resolution to deal 100%-210.5% of ice damage to all enemies. Philomina's next action will advance forward by 30%-55%. If the enemy is affected by a status beforehand, the status will affect the enemy for another turn. This attack does not grant skill points.

Skill: Serene Sincerity

Using Philomina's skill Serene Sincerity grants one stack of Frigid Resolution. The skill dispels a debuff from one ally and grants them the status Antiquity: StarkTruth Thesis.

Enhanced Skill: Solicitous Scripture

Consume 3 stacks of Frigid Resolution to dispel a debuff from all allies and grant all allies the status Antiquity: StarkTruth Thesis. This skill does not grant skill points nor does it consume skill points.

Ultimate: Fable of Genesis

Energy required: 300

Deals 150%-305.5% of ice damage to all enemies and inflicts them with the debuff Liminal Awareness. Philomina gains 3 stacks of Frigid Resolution and she will be in the state Liminal Perception.

Talent: Eternal Pledge

Philomina's skill Serene Sincerity and ultimate Fable of Genesis grants 1 stack and 3 stacks of Frigid Resolution respectively. If 1 stack of Frigid Resolution is obtained, enhance basic attack to Eonian Memorabilia. If 3 stacks of Frigid Resolution are obtained, enhance skill to Solicitous Scripture. Frigid Resolution stacks at a maximum of 5.

Allies with the buff Antiquity: StarkTruth Thesis gain 125% attack boost based on Philomina's current attack + 200, an additional 90% crit damage boost, and an increase in all-type RES PEN by 10 % which can stack at a maximum of 2. Only these buffs can be multiplied. Buffed allies have increased speed(+15 to current speed) and gain an energy accumulation boost by 100%, and for every turn of the buffed ally they gain 10 energy. Antiquity: StarkTruth Thesis disappears after 3 turns of the character.

Liminal Awareness is a status effect on enemies and counted as a debuff that lasts 3 of Philomina's turns. Liminal Awareness inflicts enemies with ice weakness. Allies deal additional ice damage to enemies affected by the debuff based on Philomina's and ally's attack(225.5% of Philomina's current attack + 110.5% of ally's attack + 250). This damage counts as ultimate damage. Allies will also ignore type-resistance of affected enemies by 20%. If affected enemy is defeated, the enemy will explode and damage adjacent enemies by 175% of Philomina's current attack + 200.

After her ultimate Fable of Genesis, Philomina will be in a state of Liminal Perception. Liminal Perception state raises her attack and crit damage by 10% and 15% respectively depending on how many times allies' ultimates are activated. Stacks at a maximum of 10. When attacking enemies with ice weakness, Philomina's weakness break efficiency increases by 50%. The state disappears after 2 turns. If Philomina activates her ultimate while still in Liminal Perception, the state resets.

In the Simulated Universe and adjacent content, there is a higher chance of receiving Blessings of Remembrance. All 1-star Blessings of Remembrance will immediately be enhanced. This effect can be turned off in the skills tree before initiation of a run.

Technique: Epoch's Elucidation

Philomina snaps her fingers and enters a state of Liminal Perception, freezing the world around her. As reality is in suspended animation, all enemies will be frozen in place and Philomina and allies will be able to move freely in the open-area for 30 seconds. Items, such as destructible objects and chests, will still be interactable. Different techniques can still take effect in this state. NPCs will not be interactable. All enemies and monsters will be affected by the debuff Liminal Awareness for one turn. Philomina will also gain 2 stacks of Frigid Resolution at the start of the battle.

Ascension 2: Vicissimilitudes

Every time an allies' energy gauge is full, Philomina gains an increase in attack by 10%, stacks at a maximum of 3, for one turn and gains 10 energy each time. When allies buffed by Antiquity: StarkTruth Thesis perform their ultimate, ultimate damage increases by 225.5% of Philomina's current attack. This effect counts for for Philomina as well.

Ascension 4: Entertrainment

When enemies are affected by Liminal Awareness, they have 20% less defense. When enemies affected by Liminal Awareness are attacked, Philomina gains 10 energy.

Ascension 6: Conscientum

At the start of the battle, Philomina's speed increases by 100% for one turn and she gains 1 stack of Frigid Resolution. For every Frigid Resolution conceived thereafter, Philomina and allies gain an increase in attack by 5% which stacks at a maximum of 30 until the end of the battle or until Philomina is downed.

FFXIV Write 2024 Prompt#25 : Perpetuity

‘When one lives to a seeming perpetuity, one must figure out how to stave off melancholy, boredom, and a sense that one simply does not belong, among other things. One must change with the times, adopt new names and new hobbies, create new bonds of friendship, not necessarily make a name for oneself though assuredly make the self a happy self. When one lives for this endless time, one notices patterns within themselves, patterns within society.

Lucegeant de Remedoix is the name I go by for this century. I say century, but it is usually less than a hundred years that I keep each name, depending respectfully upon the age of each current wife and how long it would feasibly take us to create and raise a son. It is a charade that I have been doing through seven dead wives and seven previous lives. This is the eighth. They die because they are mortal, I remain alive because I might as well be immortal. My current wife, Zoelie, has no desire to read of these manuscripts detailing my past ‘lives’. I leave her in peace, to do as she wishes with as little disruption as possible.

She is whom I will write of this time, so that when I take to reading this journal in the future, I may remember the finer details. More than likely I would not forget them, nonetheless, it behooves me to have them here for mine own self or any other spouse with whom I will offer to share and they will accept to read of.

Zoelie is the only child of Lord Fredraire and Lady Philomina Ozannier. She prefers to be called Zoe, preferring also to name me as Luc. As happens near on each time, she had no designs on being married, and all who knew her knew such. In appearances, many claim she is comely. Long, indiscriminately brown hair with eyes to match, a healthy peach of flesh due to spending her waking days gardening. She is, in fact, tending to flowers as I write this. Weeding the garden or mulching the grass. The flowers which bloom are a beauty I have not seen in any other yard, colours unimaginable. That she tends to it so makes me feel it is her baby.

We speak very little and do not share a bedroom. I have no qualms with such, my wish was for her to have a comfortable place to live and to breathe how she wished. Her beauty is quiet, yet full. We share of an evening meal, insomuch as I eat, and ask of each others days. She tells me aught she might need, and I play violin for her till she retires after dark.

Of course it is unconventional. I would have it no other way. It pleases me to see these women, all my past wives, blossom without the pressures that Ishgardian society presses upon them. I was once in similar shoes, though I do swear I loved of my first wife Polline deeply and wholly. Just as much as I have loved every wife since, just as much as I will love whomever I may find after Zoe has passed and I rearrange myself to be her and Luc’s son. A tired gambit, though one that hath worked from then till now.

While Zoelie and I share a marriage of convenience, my time spent doting on her is ever worth its while. She may not speak much and she may not have any want for aught else but her greenery, but I’ve no need to impress her either and such suits me quite well. I have plenty of other activities to keep mine own self from becoming weary of so much aloneness, and have honed several of my past skills. Now and again I see her peeking in her own curiosities, though if she wished to engage in a conversation of such, she would. In her own time.

I shall wrap up this writing now, for I smell her evening meal and must rosin my bow for playing.’

Her mother neia was an exiled valenar elf who worked as a horticulturist in metrols floating gardens with cowalyn's brother audwin. Cowalyn was doing an apprenticeship to a shipwright in Seaside during the mourning and managed to escape on a boat.
