Look at the veragation on my Philodendron Birkin! Looks like a Pink princess type to me? I might be wrong👀
I was just told that it's trying to revert itself back into a philodendron Rojo Congo!

Plant Wishes
That feel when it's 7pm, you don't drive, but you're still thinking of that Hoya Carnosa you saw at the hardware store you left behind, and also that failed Philodendron Birkin that is just a baby Rojo Congo. I feel like just going to catch a bus now to go save them...

Did you know? 🤓🌱 Philodendron Birkin’s don’t grow naturally in the wilderness. Birkin’s came to be because of a rare mutation in the Philodendron Rojo Congo. 🌿 Keep them hydrated during the summer with plenty of shaded light without it getting too hot on the leaves and this plant’s pinstripes variegation can actually turn bright white! 🤍 #plantsofinstagram #birkinplant #rareplant #planterpot Birkin plant, Philodendron plant care, repotting, rare plant

i suspect that one of my pink princess philodendrons put out a little baby plantlet, i didn't get a picture of it but i noticed it last time i watered before i left for my partner's place. the little leaves i saw didn't have any variegation on them, or at least not that i noticed, so im wondering if it's technically a reverted baby rojo congo, which would still be really cute

January 3, 2020 Look at this beautiful entity. She’s a stunning birthday gift, and I am now mortified of killing her. Her name is Felicia, and she is currently hanging out with the philodendron rojo congo that I am plant-sitting.

Philodendron Rojo Congo: Growth and Care
Philodendron Rojo Congo: Growth and Care
The Philodendron Rojo Congo is a hybrid variety developed in Florida, using the Imperial red and Tatei. These plants have become very popular due to their lovely red foliage. They look exotic and can be grown outdoors in the right environment. The Rojo Congo looks stunning and is very similar to the Imperial Red. These plants are easy to care for and are an excellent choice for beginners. They…

a philodendron 'rojo congo' i recently rescued from Home Depot! had some broken and scraped leaves, clearly had some leaves broken off towards the bottom, was way wobbly in shitty soil, and was there waiting for at least 2 weeks. it was probably going to get trashed since it was damaged and the only one of its kind left in stock. pruned it, repotted, and gave it a coir pole for support (this is a self-heading philo, not a climber)!
