Ain't ya gonna tell 'em who CREATED the symbol of the Awen?
That would be none other than Iolo Morganwg, founder of modern Pheryllt Druidry during the Druid Revival. The very Tradition you Celtic Druids have the audacity to steal from, then discredit. A fact you so rudely neglected to mention this proves my point.
Anyway, yes, the Awen is definitely a symbol of inspiration. I draw up on it often in my artwork & my Depicturgy.
Awen: The Spirit of Inspiration in Druidic Tradition
The concept of Awen is a fundamental element in modern Druidry and Celtic spirituality. It represents a divine inspiration or creative spirit that flows through all things, fueling artistic expression, wisdom, and spiritual understanding. Rooted in ancient Welsh traditions and widely embraced by contemporary Druids, Awen encapsulates a profound connection between humanity and the natural world, the divine, and the realms of creativity and knowledge.
Historical Origins and Etymology
The term "Awen" originates from the Welsh language, where it literally means "inspiration" or "muse." Its earliest recorded usage appears in the medieval Welsh literature of the 6th century, notably in the works of the bards and poets. The concept of Awen is closely tied to the figure of the bard in Celtic society—those who were the keepers of history, lore, and cultural wisdom through their poetry and music.
In the Welsh Triads and the works of Taliesin, one of the most renowned bards of the medieval period, Awen is depicted as a divine force that grants poets their insight and creativity. The word itself likely derives from Proto-Celtic *aweno-, which means "inspiration."
Awen in Druidic Tradition
Modern Druidry, which saw a revival in the 18th and 19th centuries and continues to evolve today, places Awen at the heart of its spiritual practice. Druids view Awen as a sacred flow of inspiration that comes from the divine and permeates the universe. It is not only a source of artistic creativity but also a spiritual force that brings wisdom, clarity, and a deep connection to nature.
The Three Rays of Awen
A common symbol associated with Awen in Druidic tradition is the three rays of light. This symbol typically consists of three parallel lines or rays, often depicted radiating from a single source. Each ray represents different aspects of inspiration and spiritual illumination:
1. **The First Ray:** This ray symbolizes the spark of inspiration or the initial creative impulse. It represents the beginning of an idea or the seed of wisdom.
2. **The Second Ray:** This ray stands for the process of development and growth. It is the journey of bringing an idea to fruition, the unfolding of creative and spiritual insight.
3. **The Third Ray:** This final ray signifies completion and manifestation. It is the realization and expression of inspiration in the material world, whether through art, writing, or acts of wisdom.
The Invocation of Awen
Druids often invoke Awen through rituals and ceremonies to seek inspiration and guidance. The chant "Awen" is commonly used, either sung or spoken, to open oneself to the flow of divine inspiration. This practice serves as a meditative and spiritual exercise, aligning the practitioner with the forces of creativity and insight.
The chant of Awen is said to attune the mind and spirit to the deeper currents of the universe, allowing for a clearer reception of inspiration. It can be a solitary practice or part of communal rituals, and it often accompanies other elements of Druidic ceremonies, such as the celebration of seasonal festivals and rites of passage.
Awen and the Arts
In the realm of the arts, Awen is seen as the driving force behind all forms of creative expression. From poetry and music to visual arts and storytelling, artists in the Druidic tradition seek to channel Awen in their work. This creative process is not merely about personal expression but is viewed as a way to connect with the divine and contribute to the cultural and spiritual enrichment of the community.
Awen and Nature
For Druids, nature is a primary source of Awen. The natural world, with its cycles, beauty, and mystery, is a wellspring of inspiration and wisdom. By observing and interacting with nature, Druids believe they can tap into the flow of Awen, gaining insights and understanding that transcend ordinary perception. This deep connection to nature is reflected in the reverence for sacred groves, stones, and other natural sites that are often central to Druidic practice.
Awen remains a central and inspiring concept in modern Druidry and Celtic spirituality. It embodies the divine spark of inspiration that fuels creativity, wisdom, and a profound connection to the world around us. Whether through the arts, nature, or spiritual practice, the pursuit of Awen is a journey toward deeper understanding and harmonious existence with the universe. As Druids continue to celebrate and invoke Awen, they keep alive an ancient tradition that enriches the mind, spirit, and culture, connecting them to a timeless source of inspiration.

Psychokinesis: Soul Movement
Psyche is Greek for Mind, meaning Consciousness. Kinesī is Greek for Movement. Psychokinesis is literally the art of "conscious moving" aka manipulation of energy. What energy? Electromagnetism! Wizard means "wise one." Wizardry is the Art of Wisdom, hence Philosophy meaning "love of wisdom." Wizards are Mages, Alchemists, & Philosophers. Wizards have many, many powers. Magick is an art & experimental science. We are manipulating the same energy that created the universe itself: Electromagnetism. Psychokinesis is literally the conscious movent of electromagnetic energy through & around the body. Telekinesis moves things by influencing the electric & magnetic fields in the air & around objects (as does Electrokinesis except that specifically only influences the flow of electrons). We influence the weather by manipulating the thermoelectric fields of the atmosphere. PyroK & CryoK are both just ThermoK but specialized, manipulation of thermal energy (heat & infrared). UmbraK is basically the same thing except dealing in near-infrared & infrared range allowing the Umbrakinetic to see & interact with spirits. Spirits are not made of "ectoplasm" they are made of the same energy our souls are made of: infrared radiation. All of this is just physics done a different way LOL

Preseli Bluestone
This is Preseli Bluestone. It is an EXTREMELY POTENT substance used by Iron Age Druids (that includes the Pheryllt of Iolo Moranwg) (die mad about it 😈). It forms the Inner Ring of the most sacred Druidic site on the planet: Stonehenge. Now that we have excavated it from Wales & studied its properties we now have an idea of how & why the Druids used this potent stone. Here are its known properties (along with what mine is telling me):
It is HIGHLY connected to the Earth's magnetic field so it is very grounding. It improves electrical communication throughout the body & so regulates the body's neurotransmitters. This means that combined with electrolytes it quite literally activates meridians & moves mana through the body, transmuting thoughts with emotional energy, & refining it into mana. It also activates & strengthens psychic and psychokinetic abilities. I know this because it has fine tuned my Atmokinesis & Empathy (and other powers I have developed throughout my life), and expanded them beyond what I thought possible. It opens & clears the Heart & Throat Centres, and forms an open line of communication between the Heart-Mind. It is great for past life regression/atavistic resurgence, neurolinguistic programming, astral projection, soul retrieval, shamanic practices, grounding, activating/reactivating latent/dormant magickal powers, & creating a relationship/working with the spirits of the Land. It also connects you with ancient Celtic Wisdom & Egyptian Knowledge.

My Craft: Pheryllt Druidry
I practice Pheryllt Druidry. Although, because of the "credibility" many do not understand this path simply because they have misinterpreted it. So, I am here to teach others about it & dispel the myths about it. The reason why others discredit the validity of Pheryllt Druidry is due to the fact a lot of the information comes from the works of Iolo Morganwg aka Edward Williams, who was known for his historic forgeries. However, there are several things in the Barddas of Iolo Morganwg that are actually historic, therefore linking the Path of the Pheryllt Priesthood to actual historic practices/places. But what these deniers won't tell you is that Modern Druidism in general draws heavily upon the works of Iolo Morganwg and other Druid Revivalist authors. So to discredit our path is to discredit their own. Things that originated in the Book of Pheryllt: /|\ (Awen), the Ogham, the Charms of Making, Calen workings, Druidic Alchemy, Spagyrics, Mistletoe magickal workings, Druid's Cabala/Doctrine of the Spheres, & all Druidic Doctrine. One more thing: in the Mabinogion, Keridwen says that she used "the arts of Fferyllt" to brew her potions. Do you have any idea how old the Mabinogion is? Checkmate 😏
Who are the Pheryllt?
According to legend, the Pheryllt are the legendary Sun-Priests of Pharon who originated in Atlantis, and after the fall of that great civilization washed ashore onto the western banks of Snowdon in Wales. From there we established our ambrosial city called Dinas Emrys. Today, there exists the remains of a circular stone structure right where the myth suggests! Pharon is considered to be an extremely ancient god. However, it's actually spelled "Pharaon" and means "higher powers." Pharaon is really the Dragons! This is why we are associated with fire & why the Welsh Bards have always referred to us as Adders.
What do the Pheryllt practice?
We practice Dragon-Derwydd Alchemy. To use magick, we channel the energy of the Dragon Body (Lightshield + Calen) through the dragon currents (meridians) & channel the power of the dragon lines (ley lines). We use the Charms of Making to manifest, transmute, & animate. (The Charms of Making are acknowledgements of the laws of Nature.) We utilize the Secrets of Skullgate to awaken the powers of the Mind such as psychic abilities & the ability of the subconscious to manifest reality. What makes us Druidic is the fact we call on Awen, work through the secrets of color, celebrate the turn of the seasons ("Albans"), work with natural magick, hold Mistletoe extremely sacred, bend reality via "Green Spells," consider sex to be very sacred, & the fact that we were the first systemizers of the pre-Celtic religion & La Tene culture, from which Druidry sprang. So are we Druids? Yes! Are we Celtic Druids? No! We are Gnostic in belief, particularly Sethian Gnostic. This is why our motto is Y Gwir Yn Erbyn Byd ("The Truth Against the World"). We consider ourselves a part of the Dragon Legacy.
Clearing Up Some Common Misconceptions:
•Douglas Monroe as the Source of Pheryllt Lore: Many people think that Douglas Monroe either pulled our path out of his ass or Iolo Morganwg did. Neither of that is true. Within Pheryllt Druidry we have something called the "Druid's Sleep" in which a Druid can accomplish enhanced longevity by a kind of magickal hibernation. This allows a Druid Master to appear in later centuries when he/she is needed. As such, Master Myrddhin Emrys aka Merlyn is able to directly train his students in Pheryllt Druidry. So no, Monroe is NOT the be all end all of Pheryllt Druidism. Master Merlyn is.
• Joshua Free as the same: Whilst his interpretation is interesting, he is also NOT the be all end all of the Pheryllt. He replaces "Atlantis" with "Mesopotamia" in his interpretations of our origins but this is simply not true. However, I do love some of his stuff. He has the best print copy of the Book of Pheryllt that I've seen.
•Atlantis: Speaking of Atlantis, this in & of itself is misinterpreted in the first place. What people don't know about our origins could fill a library! I'm sure you heard of the Multiverse Theory where multiple universes can exist simultaneously, and we travel through them constantly which creates anomalies where these universes intersect. Atlantis does not exist in this dimension as it has always been a place residing in a higher existence. The Earth was not always solid like it is now. Before we fell, we existed at a much higher frequency & therefore were pure energy. Think of it like an afterlife where the soul departs the physical body. Except instead of dying you were never physical in the first place but instead were always a spirit. Atlantis isn't a myth, but a Legend. You won't understand this connection unless you study the similarities between Druidry & Hinduism.
•The Pumpkin Thing: In 21 Lessons of Merlyn by Douglas Monroe, there is a small section talking about how the Druids used carved heads made out of gourds or other things in necromantic type rituals, such as the festival of Samhain. People has always misinterpret Monroe when he said "today, we use pumpkins" as "Ancient Druids used pumpkins." Even Monroe admits that's false.
•Myrddhin Emrys: Master Myrddhin Emrys Wyllt is a legendary figure. We of the Pheryllt Druid Priesthood hold that he is a real person & is just sleeping until we call upon him. How? We suggest the Epitaph from the Stanzas of the Graves written in Englynion y Beddau to summon Him. However, there is more than one way to do this despite what Monroe says.
•Use of Toxic Herbs: There are DOZENS of Traditional Witchcraft practices that incorporate poisonous plants. Why is this so strange that we Pheryllt Druids use toxic herbs in our spells & rituals? We know that Mistletoe, Datura, Belladonna, Nightshade, &tc are toxic. Does it matter? No! It's not like we just use the herbs without caution. We take care to not poison ourselves or others. You CAN burn toxic herbs without dying, y'know. Everything in moderation.
•The Charm of Making: MANY people criticize the Charm of making saying it is only in movies & isn't a real spell. However, I am living evidence this is not true. The Charm of Making is set of 3 very real spells written in archaic Old Irish, Welsh, & Old English, & further written phonetically to hide their true meanings from nonPheryllt/anti-Pheryllt Celtic Druids. However, they are written in the Book of Pheryllt, the Draconomicon, & other books about Dragon Magick & Pheryllt Alchemy if you are interested in proper translations. The original was found on ancient Ogham inscriptions & will only work for someone initiated into the Pheryllt Priesthood. The Third Charm of Making is only available to someone who has been initiated (not made publically available).
•The Real Meaning of the word "Fferyllt": No, it does not mean "Virgil." If you translate it from Old Brythonic & Welsh it means Alchemy & Pharmacy. It refers to the marriage of the Masculine to the Feminine of Nature - the Solar Current to the Telluric Current - the Quicksilver to the Sulfur - the Mind to the Heart. The transmutation of matter into energy & vice versa. Pharmacy comes from the Greek pharmaekia & means "poison" as well as "sorcery." The poison refers to the mixing together of potions. Potioncraft/Spagyric Alchemy is the central point of Alchemy, and therefore the central tenet of Pheryllt Druidry. The Pheryllt are "Fireworkers" & refers to all dealing with Fire. This includes Metallurgy, Potioncraft (Cauldron Lore), cooking, & burning herbs. What people won't tell you is that Fire refers only to Dragon Fire, which is true power. It really refers to the Serpent Power that flows up the spine during orgasm, meditation, &tc. Or to put it into Pheryllt terminology, "the Adder." This is ancient Egyptian knowledge (Djed/Sekhem), Tantric knowledge, and is also the knowledge of the Pheryllt Druids. We all came from the same place.

The Dark Wood Elves
Art by Kêrailyn Zålvor (me), the image I see when I channel my Elf Tribe.
The Dark Wood Elves are a genetic/spiritual combination of Dark Elves & Wood Elves. Dark Elves are known for their hatred of Mankind & seeking to get revenge upon them, as well as their spiteful demeanor, self-serving attitudes, high intelligence, & powerful magick. Wood Elves are known for their reclusiveness & unwillingness to interact with Mankind for the fact that they cause deforestation & treat nature as something to be dominated instead of living in harmony with it. Wood Elves are also known for their Druidic activities, working with the Elements, healing & restoration powers, & Glamourye. Put the two together & what do you get? The Dark Wood Elves! Dark Wood Elves are Wood Elves of the Dark Wood. They have become Unseelie over centuries of mistreatment by humans, both personally & the mistreatment of nature. They are the genetic descendants of Dark Elves & Wood Elves, a balance of both! I am of this race. We are reclusive, isolationist (Loners basically), & live in harmony with nature. We prefer to stay to ours'elves & study our artistic as well as scholarly pursuits. We work our magick using things considered "taboo" by those who walk the Light: fungus, decay & dead things, bones, animal blood, fur, meat, cthonic & atavistic energies, poisons, the Daemonic (Draconic), & the Dark Wood. We are stewards of the Black Flame of Elfin, of which we were wrought.
I post about these things & many more! Link to my Ko-fi is in my bio. Please show your love & support!

The Celtic Gods part 1
Male
Abarta - Path working with Abarta within the lines of this story can help us to understand the destructive nature of jealousy. Including Fionn in the tale can help us to know the value of teamwork and unity, attributes especially important if you often work within the fragile group dynamics of a coven.
Abelard - Call on Abelard for aid in magic for love, loyalty, or mental prowess. Couples, or other covens of two, will also find these two archetypes useful.
Accasbel - Cultivate Accasbel at Mabon to celebrate the vine harvest or at Beltane for the blessing of the mead.
Adammair - Ask for his aid in sex magic and stamina.
Addanc - Addanc can help you when you wish to erase an event, person or other memory from you mind. Allow his flood waters to wipe away unwanted thoughts providing a fresh start.
Adna - Invoke him to get your own creative juices flowing.
Aedan - This myth can teach us much about the passing of time, though its most potent archetypes are those of the main characters. Use Aedan and Ronan if you belong to a coven which role plays the sacrificial battles of Midsummer and Yule.
Aedh - Men who are uncomfortable working solely with a Triple Goddess might wish to try connecting with Aedh and his brothers, Cimbaeth and Dithorba. Women who feel ready to explore other aspects of their inner-selves might also benefit from this contact.
Aengus MacAedh - Aengus' energy lends itself well to healing and music magic.
Aengus MacLamh Gabuid - If you are low on self-esteem, invoke this God of arrogant verbosity to bolster yourself.
Aengus MacOg - Call on Aengus for music magic, aid in romantic love, protection of lovers, dream work, or creative inspiration.
Ai - Ai is an excellent source of energy for the making of music magic.
Ailill Duh-Dedach - Though he has no strong magical archetypes, his story can provide us with the reaffirmation that no one is invincible or perfect.
Aitherne - Call on Aitherne to help symbolically disarm your enemies.
Alian Barbe-Torte - Alain can teach us lessons about serving our country.
Alisanos - Fertility
Amaethaon - If you are seeking to improve your magical skills, try aligning yourself with Amaethaon. However, keep in mind that his story teaches, above all else, that one must handle magic responsibly.
Ambisagrus - Call on Ambisagrus for making weather magic. Also invoke him if you are seeking to imbue yourself with leadership qualities.
Amergin - Make wish-magic with Amergin, or invoke him when you face a writer's block or other creative impediments. Also ask his guidance in helping you choose a magical or craft name. This latter can be especially effective if you are male.
Anind - Anind represents the reborn sun God, and was probably honored at Yule or Imbolc, who would die only to be reborn again. Use him in your own seasonal rites or to uncover the secrets of your own past incarnations.
Anluan - Align with Anluan for his bravery and leadership qualities.
Arawen - Arawen can help you in picking magical names, in making magic for strengthening friendships, or in facilitating spirit contact. He also has attributes of reincarnation deities.
Arca Dubh - Divination. Call upon Aedh to shield you with Dubhghiolla for protection.
Art MacConn - Art means bear, a sacred totem animal of the Celts associated with strength and courage.
Arthur, King - Virtually an magical need can be aided by Arthur.
Avagdu - The moral to his myth is straightforward enough — There is more to everyone than can be told by mere physical appearance. Always look deeply into yourself and into others. Work with him to discover the hidden wisdom inside yourself.
Baile of the Honeyed Speech - Work with Baile when you need to think quickly and clearly, when you have to make a speech, promote an idea, verbally impress someone, or engage in any other mental activity, especially when it involves speaking. His energy is also compatible with love magic, protection for lovers, and for blessing of magical wands.
Balin - Through path working, Balin can teach you the proper use of the elemental weapons.
Balor - Call on Balor to protect you from your enemies — an "evil eye" protection. Also to know when it is time to step aside to allow others to lead.
Bealcu - Lessons of compassion and honor.
Bedwyr - Archetypally, Bedwyr is the catalyst by which the Wheel of the Year turns and the young God supplants the old.
Beli - Beli can help you seek knowledge of the Land of the Dead, help you to contact the spirits of those passed over, or purify your ritual sites. Call on him to help protect you from your enemies. Because of the association of Beli with the all-seeing eye, he can also aid you in astral projection or with past-life memory. Use his presence to enhance the Beltane or Samhain Sabbat festivities.
Black Knight, The - Evoke the Black Knight to help you seek your own shadows.
Bladud - Bladud can be invoked for protection, gaining employment, or other endeavors governed by the sun.
Borvo - Healing
Bov the Red - Evoke him for faery contact, or as an aid in general magic.
Bran - Protection, divination, service to country, perhaps a God of the waning year.
Breasal - Help with naming, spirit contact, guidance and protection for travelers and explorers.
Bres - Without using magic, you can allow him to teach you lessons of compassion, and the ugly result of power hunger.
Brian Boru, King - Call on Brian for developing your warrior skills, for protection overcoming an enemy, for acquiring leadership skills, or for showing you the best way to serve your country.
Britan - Evoke him for the ritual of name giving.
Buic - Prosperity spells.
Bwlch - Aid in the selection and blessing of magical tools.
Cadog the Wise - Call on Cadog to help settle disputes or when you wish to work with animals.
Cadwallon, King - Call upon Cadwallon's power to unite scattered forces.
Cairbre, Son of Etan - Music spells.
Calatin - General magical assistance.
Camulos - Call on Camulos to help you when searching for Pagan lore amongst folk songs and nursery rhymes, or for overcoming enemies and protection.
Cano - Cultivate Cano for love magic, and the strength to keep a guise.
Caradoc - Divination, wisdom.
Caswallawy - Leadership, and aid in serving one's country.
Cathbad - Use his aid for great divinations, but avoid using them to gain power over others as he did.
Cernunnos - Hunt, woodland, fertility, magic, sacrifice, and animals.
Cian - Love magic.
Clust - Invoke Clust if your clairaudience (psychic hearing) needs a boost.
Coll - Call on Cool to make love magic, to inspire yourself and others, as a general aid to magic, and invoke him to help you learn the art of astral projection.
Conaire the Great - Learn from him the importance of the keeping of a guise, and honor vow of great importance in Celtic mythology.
Conall of the Victories - Call on Conall to offer you protection, to overcome enemies, or to discover the masculine power within yourself.
Conchobar MacNessa - Call on Conchobar to shield you with Ochain for protection. While not relating directly to magical practice, we can easily glean the didactic meaning of this myth: that the keeping of one's word is important, and that one cannot force their will upon others without having it eventually backfire.
Condatis - Water magic, a deity to be honored at the in-between times.
Connla Cainbhrethach - Ask Connla to share with you his wisdom; invoke him to help you see past-lives.
Conomor, King - Knowing when to step down, knowing place in ritual, knowing the responsibility of accepting leadership. Call his spirit to function as a sacrificial God at Samhain rites.
Cormac MacArt - Leadership, magic for dogs, and perseverance.
Craftiny - Call on the energy of Craftiny to help you make musical spells and to heal throat ailments whether they are physical or psychological in nature.
Credne - Call on Credne for knowledge of self-defense, inspiration for you artistic endeavors, or for blessing your magical tools.
Cromm Cruaich - Call on Cromm for successful harvest, evoke his presence during the dark festivals. His image as a death God makes his energy compatible with Passing Over rituals and Otherworld contact.
Cuchulain - Cuchulain can be invoked to teach you where your own masculine power lies. He can also help you find stamina, perseverance, strength, and guide you in overcoming enemies. He was the only one of the Red Branch warriors impervious to Macha's curse, and his energy can evoked to aid in spells designed to ward off negative energy from others.
Culhwch - Perseverance, love magic, couple's work.
Cumhal - Leadership skills.
Cunedda - men who wish to work with a triplicate, and are not as yet comfortable invoking the feminine Triple Goddess, might wish to experiment with the energy of Cunedda and his sons.
Cymon - Cymon set out to find an unnecessary battle and was told by the faery that if it was trouble he sought, he should find it with the Black Knight or it did not exiSt. Though he can provide little in the way of ritual energy, we can allow ourselves to learn from Cymon's foolish mistake.
Cythrawl - Call upon this very powerful divine force when you wish to banish something from your life. This "destructive" magic can have just as much of a positive, harmless effect as so-called "positive magic." You can also merge with his energy when you wish to be reincarnated with a loved one.
Dagda, The - You can use Dagda's energies for almost any purpose you might need. Call on him for wisdom, for magic for animals, for warrior skills, to aid children, for fertility or protection, to make music spells, to assist faery contact, for elemental magic, or to increase mental prowess.
Degad - Call on him for his skills in leadership, overcoming enemies, or for strengthening family ties.
Dhonn - Spirit contact, past-life memory.
Diancecht - Call on Diancecht for healing minor illnesses and treating sick animals. He can also remind us of the evils of jealousy rather than cooperation. However, his energy is a good one to draw upon for banishing negative influences.
Diarmuid - Go on an inner-journey as Diarmuid to determine how strong the bonds of your romantic attachments really are. Could you make a promise to leave your love alone forever even at the cost of your life? He can also give us strength for keeping a guise.
Dispater - As a father God he can aid in fertility magic, and in magic in general. If you follow a Gaulish Celtic tradition, include him in your ancestor rites.
Diwrnach the Gael - Prosperity.
Drutwas - Such stories, as these are not uncommon in Celtic Folklore. They point up the high price, which is always paid for the wrong use of magic, and clearly illustrate the Threefold Law in action. Pathwork with Dwutwas to discover healthier and better ways of handling negative emotions.
Dunatis - Evoke Dunatis to protect your own sacred spaces and hiding places during rituals.
Dwyvan - Call on Dwyvach not only for perseverance and stamina, but think of him as one half of creation, needing his consort (Dwyfach) to complete magic. Call upon them when working as a couple in ritual or spellwork or for sex magic.
Dylan - Call on Dylan for water magic or to help contact sea faeries.
Easal - Prosperity.
Efflam - Evoke him to enact this battle at Yule or Midsummer.
Elathan - Evoke his presence to bring peace, and connect with his energy for overcoming prejudice and gossip, a difficult feat since prejudice against other tribes was actually valued by the Celts as with most early societies.
Elffin - This story is complex; on the surface it seems to be reminding one to stay humble, yet Elffin was not permanently punished for his bragging, a talent valued by some cultures. Merlyn: the Wildman of the Woods
Master Merlyn, the all powerful Wizard of history whose magick is highly coveted, is actually Myrddhin & is a Welsh God. He is the Lord of Nature, Poetry, Smithcraft, Healing, Knowledge, & Magick. He historically was a Pheryllt Druid & part of the original Dragon Priesthood (a fact few know about because of biased opinions no one asked for). He is MUCH older than the legends make him out to be! Since he is the Lord of Nature he is the God of Druidry (Art of the Oak Knower), and laid down the laws that govern how magick works. The British, Gaulish, & Gaelic Druids gathered at Stonehenge every turn of the season & paid homage to "a God of poetry, magick, & knowledge," and did the same thing upon the discovery of Mistletoe upon an Oak (a very sacred occurrence that was revered with ceremony & a golden sickle). This God was discovered to actually be Myrddhin. He is the Wildman of the Woods who rules over Madness, Revelry, & Liberation, a Title given to him after earning it upon his retreat into the woods after war to reconnect with the Old Gods & rediscover his magick. He is Nature, & we work with Nature as well as enjoy natural pleasures. We are of Merlyn & therefore are Merlyneans. His Staff is the Torch of Knowledge which he uses to light the way through the Shadow into the Light. His Mark is the Faeryblood given to His people being born of Faerie & therefore Changelings. Master Merlyn is the Gnaddr (pronounced NAH-thare) known in our Tradition as the original Dragon-Derwyd. It was He who had the prophecy of the Reg & White Dragons of Pendragon, which represents His connection to the Pheryllt Priesthood. This Draconic association of the Druids was lost long ago, but has always been remembered by the Welsh Bards who have always called Druids "Adders." (This would make that legend of St Patrick much more gruesome) What the Devil/Man In Black is to Traditional Witches, Master Merlyn is to Merlyneans.
If you reverse engineer the name of Merlyn's home, Carmarthen, from it's original name of Caer Myrddhin in Welsh, you eventually get Moridunum. It means "Sea-Fortress" and refers to an ancient name for Great Britain called Albion. This points to the Arthurian side of Master Merlyn. Do the same exact reverse engineering using the rules of the Welsh language with the name Myrddhin & you come up with Moridunos, meaning "He of the Sea-Fortress." This comes up with his Title as the Fortress of Albion. This bit of info comes from John Michael Greer's "The Mysteries of Merlin."
Master Merlyn's Wizardry is probably the most coveted in history due to how powerful he is. I am truly honored to be taught by Master Merlyn, and therefore his child: a Merlynean Wizard. I am a sworn Guardian of the Grimoire of Merlin, and some of the most sought after spells & incantations in history. For this reason the magickal community is after me & often tries to burn me at the stake (VERY hypocritical BTW! But if the world is after me then I take it as a compliment!). Merlyn isn't just an idea or a legend that unites us all, He is our deity & our father, the Father of Faeryblood. He is a Pheryllt Druid & the most powerful Wizard who ever lived.

Lemme see:
None! I'm a Pheryllt Druid. I mainly use Weatherworking Magick, which is mainly what I use my Pheryllt Druidry for.
I'm Faerie Faith so I work with my own people (the Elfae, I'm a Changeling).
Yes! Most of my spells are my own unique personal spells. Most of them are based on Elemental Energy Work techniques that my old Master taught me.
Beltane! I'm all about the late Spring energies. The Elfae (my people) are very active that time of year.
I tend to look up to @stormbornwitch 🌧🌩🌪 I love her posts & I have learned a LOT from her blog.
I know it's dangerous but being out in a thunderstorm always energizes me & makes me feel one with Nature. Feeling that static in the air, feeling the rain on my skin, the wind, the rumbly feel of thunder, etc. It's what made me wanna be a Weatherworker.
Yes! I love the myths of the Tuatha de Danann & the Mabinogion. And other myths related to Faerii Faith. Well, to me they aren't "myths." That would imply that my kind doesn't exist. We Elfae are very real.
I really relate to Master Merlyn. This is because he is the one who trained me how to use my Wizardry & all about Pheryllt Druidry.
Fuck no 😑😒
Definitely my personal sigils, storm energy, & my Staff.
The Book of Pheryllt. Literally just read it it'll change your life!
The fucking green skin, warts, & flying on broomsticks bullshit! Like what?! No!
I create my own sigils all the time! Sigilcraft is a majik that I use almost daily.
Storm, an advancement/higher aspect of Air (my Birth Element). I was taught Advanced Elemental Majik by my old Master, Jeremy Maloy, who initiated me as a Journeyman Wizard. He was sent to me by Merlyn to finish my training as a Pheryllt Druid.
Yes! I have 2 Familiars, neither of which have a physical form. Familiars are NOT pets!
Nope. I am Solitary.
The Thunderbird, given to me by Nature in a meditation when I was 13. Yes I have Native American blood.
No, but I read the Ogham.
Mists of Avalon
I have like 3, but getting more soon!
Yes
All the time.
I'm Faerie Faith, so an Animist. I don't believe in Gods or Goddesses but I do believe in the Elfae (I have to I am one). The name of my particular brand of Faerii Faith is An Wyn Emrys.
Lapis Lazuli
Spells that I create with the Elements, sigils, etc.
I use my Ålunlitêkårå spell. Works like a charm!
During a thunderstorm.
A lot of people know I'm a Wizard, yeah.
Only when I don't give enough energy or can't focus good enough. Never got "karma" back because it doesn't exist.
My storm cloud grey Wizard hat!
Yes
Yeah my Cêlfrogovêr.
I don't have one.
Yes only out of the corner of my eyes tho.
N/A
My personal sigils
I don't believe in astrology.
I'm Faerie Faith, so no.
Blue
Yes, it's called the Transmigration of Souls.
Outside during a thunderstorm, when possible!
Spring
Yup all the time, whoever pisses me off the most.
I have practiced Wizardry since I was 10.
What drew me to Wizardry was the Lore of it. How Wizards are storytellers, scientists, majik users, & alchemists. The powers equated to a Wizard are different than that of a Witch.
No
Beltane
I know that I was a king in a past life but not much else.
Everyday with everyone new I meet. Intuition has never failed me & neither has my Empathy.
I'm not limited to time of day 🤷🏻

What the FUCK?! Druidry is NOT a culture, let alone a closed one! LOL! Druidry, literally "art of Oak Knowledge," is a PRACTICE, not a culture. I agree, the culture was CELTIC (still is). The Celts has *never* been a closed culture. We share our culture & knowledge & magick with anyone who wants to learn. The Druids; however, were a bit more reclusive given that their practices were often bashed by Christians (still are). The way that Druidry is practiced has drastically changed. We no longer use animal blood (except maybe the individual Druid's practice), traditional blood sacrifice, our initiations no longer involve retreats & living in Mounds, etc. Pheryllt Druidry; however, is drastically different from Celtic Druidry is that it is a completely different practice. Much more focus on Alchemy, Dragon Legacy, color frequencies, the Ogham, etc. whereas Celtic Druidism focuses more on Nature, the Earth, & deities.
The Druids are a closed culture. You cannot be a Druid. There are no more Druids. As well, there are no records of the traditional practice.
Holy crap.
Get ready to sit back and realize just how wrong and rude you are. This is what’s known as witchsplaining, when someone tries to explain a pagan thing to someone who is actually an expert on that thing. So shut the fuck up for a moment and read this carefully, you very stupid person.
1) Druids are not a culture. Druidry is a religion. This would be like if you said “Jewish is a closed culture*.” That makes no sense. You literally have no idea what you’re talking about.
What’s happening is that you’re confusing ancient Druidry with modern Druidry. The ancient Druids were religious priests of the Celts. The Celts are the culture, the Druids were priests in that culture. Modern Druidry is a religion that was started in the 1950s that is growing and thriving to this day.
“Closed cultures” are one of those hot button issues in this community, and it’s for a reason. A culture is considered closed when that culture has faced terrible inhumanities and is struggling to preserve its identity, while at the same time white people copy their traditions to be cool and hip. That is when a culture is closed off to anyone who does not come from that culture. That includes Native American cultures, Romani culture, Aboriginal culture, and many African and Asian religious groups. Druidry not “closed” in any sense of the word, and even if it were, I have Irish and German ancestry, aka Celtic ancestry, so it would be my culture anyway.
2) You can be a Druid. There are many Druid groups, groves, and orders you can join. Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF), the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD), and the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA) are just a few of the major Druid orders that are openly welcoming members, and anyone who wants to identify as a Druid can join them.
3) There are no more “ancient” Druids, but modern Druids are everywhere. Again, ancient Druidry is not nearly the same as modern Druidry. The Celtic people were primarily wiped out by Juilus Caesar (who kept the only known records of Celtic life and Druid traditions) and finally by invading Christians and Catholics. And thankfully, ancient Druidry has gone because they did some wild things, such as child sacrifice, and completing an initiation by living underground in a mound for like ten years straight. Modern Druidry, of course, does not incorporate any of that, but instead focuses on Earth worship and deity worship.
Your whole entire ask is bullshit, and the fact that you sent it is really offensive. I really hope you understand that more than anything else in this answer.
*before anyone angrily replies, Judaism is a partially closed religion, since it requires you to either be born in it or go through an official initiation to join it. People are still welcome to study the Torah and attend Jewish ceremonies without being considered Jewish. I used it as an example to explain how the wording of this ask was moronic.

Finally updated my Path! This is the path I have always walked, & always will.
Here It Is:
> My official spiritual path is An Wyn Emrys aka Merlynean Wizardry. It is a Pheryllt Druid path that focuses on Faerii Faith & Elven Magick. It is a powerful Elven bloodline given to me by my parents.
> My magick is rooted in the Air Element, and it's higher aspect of Storm. So Sacred Geometry, Dragon Lines, Metamind Magix, Poetry, & the properties of Air & Storm: wind, electricity, sound, pressure, temperature, &tc which is why I am Atmokinetic.
> My conduit is & has always been my Staff. My Staff is my Sacred Stylus with which I write/rewrite reality. It is formed of an gnotty Oak branch gathered using the Elven Code of Permissions, and adorned with things & symbols sacred to me & to Myrddhin. Made according to the Stavulurgic rules of An Wyn Emrys.
> I am therefore a Merlynean Gnaddr, a person responsible keeping the rules, traditions, spells & potions, rituals, &tc of An Wyn Emrys sacred. This is my sacred duty to my legacy & lineage. So I will no longer be blindly flopping around religions & spiritual titles. My Titles are Merlynean Gnaddr & Pheryllt Druid, & my Craft is An Wyn Emrys. My specialty is Air Wizardry.
> However, I WILL continue to experiment with different things always perfecting my personal Craft as a Merlynean Wizard. This includes writing my own spells, using things from my dreams & meditations, & coming up with things channeled from the Devils/Gods/Awen.

Repost! This was back when I was studying the Celtic Pantheons :) That's when I realized Myrddhin is, has always been, & will always be my Patron as I am his avatar/emanation/current lifetime (or one of them anyway).
Aengus MacAedh - Aengus’ energy lends itself well to healing and music magic.
