Melanites designs diverse toys, storybooks, and games that celebrate Brown Boyhood!

We are introducing the first line of boy dolls of color! Our Action Pals combine the emotional appeal of a doll and the articulation of an action figure. Representation is the cornerstone of each Pal and are designed with diverse skin tones, facial features, and hairs types.

Melanites Action Pals are based on four characters who are nine year old boys with different personalities. They represent the “Thinker, Doer, Maker, and Performer” in all of us. Our accompanying storybooks and games follow the crew as they go on different adventures that highlight S.T.E.M. and the importance of staying true to yourself.

We need your help!  In order to make Melanites a reality, we need to raise $20,000

Every pledge big or small goes towards the production cost of making one of the first boy dolls of color!

Finally finished @phalasophy ‘s portrait! I’m not very fond of the hair, I made it a bit too wild, sorry about that! This is my first full color portrait so I apologize if it doesnt look that good. I just really wanted to paint the lips because the color was amazing! I hope you like it!
