In between trying to build her portfolio and taking commission work, Clare found herself exploring Aurora Bay. During her explorations, she discovered some hidden jewels and spots that were perfect for finding seclusion. Even though she was enjoying being back around her makeshift family, she still desired some time alone. This was a bit challenging with a baby's high-pitched cry every few hours. One of her recent finds was a decrepit pier that extended out into the ocean. "Um...hi?" she said as she carefully balanced her way across. "Who are you?"

The scents of sweet cinnamon, pumpkin and mocha still lingered around Peyton’s clothing and form, the aura always the result of a long shift spent in the coffee shop. In days of old, Peyton would’ve headed straight back to his apartment after a shift but nowadays he spent a good chunk of his nights at another place altogether. Marissa’s. They’d started with simple flirtation whenever she came into the coffee shop and in the blink of an eye yet quite naturally, they’d graduated into something more. Peyton had always preferred older women and that had become apparent as soon as he’d started pursuing her, such desire and thirst clear every time they met but now also with added, evident feelings of affection. 

It was the first mood of desire and want that was apparent on Peyton’s features however as he let himself in her door that night, the male full well knowing she was alone and expecting him. Mere seconds passed before they were laying eyes upon each other, the sight of her making Peyton’s grin grow as he greeted her. “Damn, you just get more beautiful every time,” Peyton told her, his compliment undoubtedly playful but words sounding certain at the same time. He strolled towards her, gaze not deviating for a second, the young male adding “You didn’t come in for a coffee today, I was a little worried… and disappointed, of course,” as he went, teasing manner clear all the while.

"tell me about it." a joke of everything, HA. wasn't that just a brief description of zahir baris's life? joke, joke, joke-- except it was never the 'haha' type joke. rather the 'i wish you would shut the fuck up' type. they were the funny one, or at least it was what they tried to make themselves. "so miss creative person, what do you do with the creative-ing? are we talking writing, artwork, woodwork-- ? i've run out of creative things very fast." there was a dreadful moment of glee at the thought of woodwork because they loved talking shop and the moment zahir recognized the feeling dread engulfed because they were such a dork. where along the way did they become the person who gets excited talking about work? "coffee, yep, treated by me. any place you like particularly or do we wanna go with the least worst coffee-type place i have found so far."

she gave him a smile, one that seemed to suggest, it was a borderline threat but hey, she was just a stranger. it could be empty. it probably wasn't. she was getting more and more creative, needing to both blend in and do the mission wyatt had given her. "i'm creative, what can i say?" giving a shrug, she stepped deeper in, now looking for said coffee he seemed to offer. she giggled at that, locked in room situations. how was he still alive? oh well. the day was still young. "you can see my predicament. it's just a joke of everything," everything she once could have stood for, sure, but still a joke none the less. "so how about that coffee?"

With each step he hoped he'd find something he knew, but every familiar building had forgotten him. At every open door. Through every broken window. He saw them. A shop owner. A friend. A neighborhood kid. To him the warmth of that lively town was there.

But he knew their voices wouldn't find him. He knew, but his feet kept moving forward in the way his heart could not.

Then the frigid air split his skin and tore him. His tears slid through the cracks.

a horror fan like no other. some may not suspect it at first glance, but anyone who knows kirby knows there’s nothing he has a bigger soft spot for then a good (or even a bad) horror flick.

— this love did get a bit tainted after his run-in with ghostface, but after some healing he was able to return to it almost full-force. 

a personality that can rub some people the wrong way, but he’s never the type to purposefully make someone uncomfortable. a witty comment here and there should always be expected, but his back doesn’t usually have any bite behind it.

Kian chuckled at Peyton's Regina George impression and ran a hand over his goatee. "I do not. Don’t put words in my mouth.” He said, shaking his head. "I think it's great that you're branching out and trying new experiences, even if it means enduring some less-than-pleasant smells." If only he could be like that. Unfortunately, he was stuck in his ways in some matters—like moving somewhere new. Now, visiting new places was a different kind of can of worm. He nodded in understanding when she mentioned not wanting to bother Lincoln too much, given how busy he was with work. The other man was probably stuck in the office doing whatever it was that CEO’s did. "I get it, but your brother needs to do a little living. The man is always working." The irony was not lost to him, of course—since he too had the tendency to work too much. "Oh, I’m sure he’ll love that.” Probably not. Still, it would be amusing to annoy his friend. “I think I’ll pass and leave the bugging to you. He might get violent on me and I’d rather not walk around with a black eye.” He chuckled.

With her best Regina George impression, she deadpanned, "Oh, so you agree, you think you really do look like a goat." If anything, it was better than comparing Kian to an alpaca—or a donkey. "The horns might be an issue, but how about the goatee? I'll re-evaluate once I see it." Truthfully, his assessment was a fair one. Typically accustomed to the finer things in life, Peyton wouldn't be found in places such as these. Call this an example of character development. "Not quite, more interested in trying to turn a new leaf, explore uncharted waters. You know, that whole thing." Even if there was a rather unpleasant smell that wafted in the air, making her question if this desire to "turn a new leaf" was a complete mistake. "It's a solo trip," Peyton nodded proudly, rocking on her heels. "Plus, I don't like to bug him too much, you know? I don't even want to think how much work he's got to contend with." And with how the business was growing, the last thing she wanted to do was drag Lincoln away from the office if there was plenty to do. "But hey, I'll be sure to annoy him extra the next time I see him. You're happy to help with that if you're free."

*İlk seti 6-3 kazanan Pegula 1-0 öne geçti. Break ve love game ile girdi mücadeleye. Sonrasında Anisimova tutunmaya çabaladı ama Pegula harika servis oyunları geçirdi. Son oyunda da bir kez daha servis kırdı ve net bir biçimde mesajı verdi. Yarım saati görmeden attı ilk adımı.

*İkinci sette 6-2 üstünlük kuran Anisimova 1-1 yaparak maça tutundu. Tersi bir bölüm izledik bu kez. Anisimova erken break'le bir adım önde oynadı. 3-2'den sonra da peş peşe kazandığı 3 oyunla umudunu son sete taşıdı.

*Son sete 6-1'le nokta koyan Pegula 2-1 galip geldi ve şampiyonluğa ulaştı. Adeta dirildi diyebiliriz ve rüzgar gibi bir oyunla zafere ulaştı. Son oyunda Anisimova 3. maç puanına kadar uzatabildi en fazla. Pegula üst üste ikinci Kanada zaferini elde etti. Bu kez Toronto'da kazandı ve kariyerinde ilk defa unvan korudu. WTA 1000'de 3. şampiyonluğu oldu ve Berlin'den sonra bu yılki 2., kariyerinin 6. zaferini tattı. Tebrik ederiz.

there was a beat of his heart that felt cold. like a ship sunk below the surface, faced with ice so chilling it froze the bone. such truth in her words that couldn't be denied even if chris wanted to fervently. his mom would have been better at this--- she was heroic in a way chris could only dream to be. he tried so god damn hard to protect them all, and his failure stood right before his eyes so constantly it burned like ember taut with steel. peyton had been so little when phoebe died. "we have time." he insisted, and forced himself to believe it. it was the only thread chris could hold onto, all of the others felt so breakable. "they didn't--" the word felt like acid to his tongue and so he couldn't-- he just couldn't. "there's time." piper was pregnant with wyatt. and then chris himself came along a little bit later. then fifteen years would pass, and then--- ... she had been the first one down, paige and phoebe followed suite. but all the same, there was time.

"i-" so much more he wanted to say. he wanted to HUG her, promise everything would be alright and he would keep them- all of them, safe. even wyatt themselves. but this wasn't the time for lies, and chris doubted peyton would even be open to the contact. he couldn't recall the last time she was. "i will." it didn't feel like a lie this time, because chris was nothing if not a stubborn, neutronic and absolutely pigheaded when it came to something he knew he was capable of. and for all his many doubts, chris knew he was capable of this.

it was strange and a little bit silly. you could call it apathetic death, what peyton felt inside herself. she didn't care if she lived or died; her care went out the window when her best friend died. how else was a cupid supposed to feel when LOVE was their main emotion? she hadn't considered the real possibility that they could all die until she spoke it and even then, she felt nothing, other than the urge to pick at chris until he finally snapped. "nothing will change while we're all divided." that was what the power of three meant anyway. power united. there should be a power of three in their generation but nearly no one worked well enough together to harness it. "they can protect themselves until they can't, chris. i don't even remember my mom." her voice revealed a hint of sadness, eyes watering for a brief fleeting second until she blinked it away.

"i came to give you this, that's all." she didn't really feel like debating it anymore. no more picking, no more prodding. she was fucking tired all of a sudden. peyton reached in her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. "it was in my vision but i don't know what it means. i'm so tired of these fucking riddles." and that's what it was, first appearance sake. jumbled words read backwards and forwards, still meaning absolutely nothing in the end. "maybe you can figure it out. he doesn't care enough to try."
