I love Lana. I love Lana so much she's my favourite to play as and as a character her story is amazing I love Lana so so much

The gameplay was so fun!! Like it was so satisfying especially Link's spin attacks.

I freaking HATED playing as Gabodonkadoo I just wanted to get it over with because he SUCKS and I didn't wanna attack Zelda and Link and Impa it was so unfair?? And then it made me as Gaboofork attack Lana TT. I was kind of weirdly proud of all my babies for being so hard to beat while playing as Gonkey tho. Also Garvysailor was at level one starting so I laughed at him for being WEAK to play as. I just tried to get the part playing as him over with fdjuchskrny

Fun fact Goofan (the giant pig version fight) can't hurt you if you stay under him so as Link I stayed under and got him to half health simply by stabbing his legs a lot XD twas fun I thought there was no way that would work, but it did- if Gaboon is too much hide under him

I was NOT expecting to have to fight Midna at first xhcjdkcjosh but after a bit I was like no that's actually pretty on character for her, she's an asshole until she likes you I love Midna so much

also the Goron soldiers were so cute <3 another reason I hated playing as Goofer, I didn't wanna hurt them TT

So I originally got the Wii u version. I didn't want to pay the almost $60 for the switch port when the Wii u version was under ten dollars. Pretty boy was worth eight dollars and seventy four cents to me. ...but then upon playing the game for thirty minutes I ordered the switch version because it was so amazing which I think is pretty accurate to how everyone's thoughts develop towards the hero of warriors

In case yall were curious- there are some major differences between the Wii u and switch version of Hyrule Warriors! One of the main ones is the lack of the side quests and extra content that first appeared in Hyrule Warriors Legends on the 3ds. The Wii u version does not include Young or Toon Link, or Linkle's tale, the Link's awakening addition, etc. Which is what motivated me to get the switch version, which includes everything from all previous versions of the game.

You can play with someone as two-player on both the Switch and Wii u- cut to me spending the past few days trying to rope everyone I set eyes on to play hw with me

Also the definitive edition on Switch is somewhat harder than the Wii u actually. Everything was main quest and urgent on the Wii u, but the Switch version has the introduction of labeled side quests and the Ocarina for warp- this and a couple other things (labeled differently enemies) makes the battles a bit harder to keep up with.

You cannot switch fighters mid-battle on the Wii u

AND SOMETHING I'M MAD ABOUT IS THAT THEY MADE THE GIBDOS POISONOUS ON THE SWITCH THEY DIDN'T DO THAT ON THE WII U VERSION A GIBDO STARTED SPEWING POISON AND I WAS LIKE WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THAT WAS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY WE WERE ROBBED OF POISON-LESS GIBDOS ON THE SWITCH AND I WANT THE NORMAL ONES BACK

also they made me fight the Imprisoned from sksw again in HW and I was mad about that. I was glad to see the Groosinator tho

When playing as Zelda, the defeat conditions were always labeled for 'if Ruto flees'. I did not understand at first why everything was dependent on Ruto's presence, but then I realised it was only for battles I played Zelda as- you can't lose by Zelda fleeing when you're playing as Zelda fifjdickdog so it reverts to Ruto- the other princess- fleeing. I have not checked this part on the Switch yet.

I love Lana's design she makes me want blue hair again- I have purple hair right now but blue has never worked for me. Hair dye is hard for me because of my naturally red hair- but her blue hair is so pretty I might go for it :)

I didn't like fighting as Fi that much :/ I loved seeing her but as a fighter I liked using the others better. It was satisfying to beat the imprisoned and Ghirahim's butts while being her tho. Kind of righteous since she's made to fight them and always wins :)

I liked seeing Ghirahim again he's my favourite villain.

Impa and shiek Zelda's relationship is so sweet I love them

Hyrule Warriors Zelink is underrated me thinks. I like the aroace Wars headcanons, but I will always love the idea of two souls always finding each other. very romantic. I almost started crying when Zelda said she believes in him suchxifndkst

Sheik using a harp was my favourite weapon in game. I'm a musician and I love the understanding in Zelda that music is badass. hek yeah topple them with your harp strumming

Impa was super powerful when fighting her as Gidjdslmcr and I loved it

Something that hit me a lot is how much Cia was a victim in all this too. All I've seen of her made her out to be a purely evil horrible and sexual villain, but she only became that way because Gardonk's magic got into her heart and forced Lana out? Cia has something of my sympathy. I wish she would put on a shirt however. I know she's wearing a dress but I think she deserves the comfort of a baggy t shirt that smells like home.

only playing as one character per battle on the Wii u version meant I didn't get to play as many characters, so I am excited to play more of my babies on the switch.

because of only playing as one character per battle on the Wii u, I also never used Link's fire rod. I played with it now on the Switch and holy cow he's an arsonist

I love that Link's character arc is such a huge part of the game. I knew this before from watching playthroughs, but I still love it.
