A letter to Peter Cat Recording Co.

I am writing to you because I have decided to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years on the day (April 25th) of your 1st ever show in North America. I had been going back and forth on how best to surprise her with a ring proposal, looking up generic locations with (boringly) scenic “views,” and then I got a notification that you will be touring on the Western side of the Prime Meridian. The truth is that we met in 2019, right when Bismillah came out. That summer, we danced to “Heera” on beaches in Mexico, belted the lyrics to “Floated By” on long road trips across the state, and blasted “Memory Box” on any jukebox we could find. If you can imagine that, it was an unforgettable summer. 

As a man of tangible memories, going to see your show in Montreal was the only way to make this day special for the both of us, something we can cherish forever.

I’m planning on buying a record at your show, along with some merch, and in my best effort to support you, I was wondering if I could ask for an autographed copy of the record? I would never want to bother you after the show, in case you must travel quickly, so an autographed copy of any record would mean the world to me and my soon-to-be-fiancée. If that’s too much to ask, even just a reserved copy in case we get there late and you run out!

Of course, I completely understand if this gets buried in your inbox, and we will be there no matter what to revel in your unique sound.

Lifafa released his new album on Spotify yesterday and i can't get over how beautifully each and every track has been written.

This album doesn't provide comfort or a cherry feeling.

Superpower 2020 is more about the main concerns of the country. About how it's constantly changing and forcing the people to hold it together even when everything is in absolute ruins.

Attended Day 1 of the @sauce_india festival of @socialoffline curated by @fourbyfourexp . What a great feeling to go back to a festival for the music. So happy to finally see @peekayindia live and what a banger of a set by her. Didnt catch @cinemaofexcess on camera but a sweet sweet set by them too . Also got to see @ahmermusic live for the first time ... day made by the special appearance of @prabhdeepmusic. But the night was definitely owned by @parvaazmusic and @petercatrecordingco what mad sounding sets both . Whatever videos I have doesn't do justice to the amazing vocals by both @khalidahamed101 and @lifafa .
