Regardless of the challenges that crop up along the way, don't change direction.

In fact, in most cases, when God speaks to you, He may not do a deep dive of the challenges that will come with the vision.

He'll say "go to the promised land," but He will not major on the challenges that will come along the way. That's because, if God tells us the challenges on the way, we might abandon ship.

The good news is that as long as God has sent you, you'll never be alone.

You've got the entire backing of heaven. Your cheerleaders have taken their place in the stands, cheering you on.

So stay the course. Be steadfast.

Keep going.

Even if the waves rage, keep going.

If it is God who has sent you, you'll come back with a mouth full of testimonies.

─┼─── How rare of an occasion that Peter is so blatantly vulnerable in the presence of another.

His intentions were just to stand in for a higher angel for a meeting with Hell over this hotel he'd heard rumors of. Only... he found it rather strange that Lucifer was the only one to show.

Oh, how could he let things get so heated?

All Peter had done was politely accept Lucifer's supposedly - welcoming offers, albeit nervously. It was nothing more than a welcoming handshake, a coat taken by a greeter, a tour of the estate, so he'd thought.

Yet now, they were tucked away in a private room, half - disrobed, with hands brushing skin. And yet still, when Peter was offered a cure for the sweet tooth he had mentioned early on, he so easily accepted, despite being so unsure of what was to come his way.

Hands were pressed against deep red sheets on either side of the demon, golden eyes watching as he spread chocolate across his chest. His gaze flickered up to Lucifer's face, just for a split second, as if waiting for the go - ahead, but his expression said it all. Go on, lap up what you've admitted you desire.

He moved slowly, hesitantly, first easing himself down to a more comfortable - yet - maneuverable position, then dipping his head to press his tongue against Lucifer's chest. The rich, sweet taste on his tongue was, in reality, no different than if he took a bite from a candy bar; however, whether it was something in the chocolate, or the way he was taking it in, it left an unusually pleasant tingling feeling in his mouth.

Before he could stop himself, Peter's hands left the bedsheets to rest at Lucifer's waist, slowly tracing along his sides as he continued licking the chocolate from his chest.

If he listened closely, Lucifer could be able to hear quiet little moans from Peter's throat, sounding almost like whispers.
