Sorry if this has already been asked before but why did the band break up? And did they break up on decent terms? Do they still talk to each other sometime?

It has been asked before, I just never answered jshfbdjcbh I'm still piecing everything together and stuff is changing or getting tweaked all the time, so I'm always super hesitant about answering these types of questions, afraid that people will take whatever I say as the final answer. So basically what I'm going to answer now will already contradict what I told some people already. And maybe in the future the story might go a little differently too (although I'm pretty satisfied with the current events)

Uhhh, get ready for a long info dump. I didn't expect I'd write this much...

Floyd basically stayed with the band for 8 years (from 14 till 22) and got pretty messed up in the process. The rest of the guys are all quite older than him so I guess I could say they were more responsible, or at least had a better understanding of their own limits (also they grew up in this kind of environment or grew up aware of it, while Floyd was oblivious and naive about all of it) and while they do get drunk and do drugs often, none of them are really dependent on them. They are also pretty good judges of character and know how to avoid trouble. Floyd on the other hand drove in with no breaks and constantly got himself in trouble that the rest (mostly Les) had to drag him out of. He also developed bipolar during this time (in my story Floyd constantly fluctuates between being saturated and being desaturated because of this) and his manic and depressive episodes started getting out of hand after his teenage years. (None of them are aware it's a mental disorder that's making him act so out of character.)

Floyd was becoming miserable because of this and all of his problems pilling up, and started blaming Les for the way he was. Les never argued this which only fueled Floyd to blame him more. In the end he was getting so frustrated and irritable that Floyd constantly tried starting arguments with him, even putting him down and getting aggressive at times because Les gets very unresponsive and closed off during personal conversations (guy is a giant onion of suppressed trauma that Floyd is hellbent on peeling open).

Eventually there was one fight too many, terrible things were said, some objects flew through the air, and Floyd walked out (or Hed kicked him out, I haven't decided yet) with the promise of going home and never seeing them again.

So, yeah, it was very messy and Floyd was the primary asshole, even though he's not really to blame either...

But Floyd didn't make it home (was too scared to sneak through Bergen Town to get to the tree (i don't think i can judge him for that either)) and he just returned to the reckless lifestyle, this time without anyone being there to keep him safe. So if he was messed up before, this is the time period where he got absolutely fucked up. This is also when he got heavily addicted to sour worms. And when he chronically slept around (half the time just to get offered free worms or have somewhere to sleep, other times because he was having manic episodes and was feeling hypersexual). (This is also potentially the period when he had the two eggs with that techno troll, but I'm still thinking if I want that to be canon to the story or not.) During this time he also grew to become very anxious and his self-confidence went to shit when he was being himself.

Then after about three years of that, he bumped into Les at some party. He wanted to dodge him out of shame but Les grabbed his arm and manhandled him outside to talk. Floyd felt like shit about the way they had split up and tried apologizing for all the stuff he had said and done to Les, but Les wasn't having any of that because he wasn't angry at Floyd, he was just worried about him. Les is also insanely empathetic like Floyd, and he knew that Floyd never really meant any of it, and that he was just looking for an outlet when he was hurting. Also he does think he is to blame for the way Floyd ended up.

Les wanted to know why he didn't go home like he had said (because that was the only reason Les had even let him walk out in the first place). A few exchanged words later and Floyd broke down telling him all the awful things he'd done, and Les promised to help him, feeling insanely guilty. Floyd wondered if he was allowed back in the band but Les made it clear that the band wasn't good for him and that he was never taking him back. Instead Les helped him go though rehab. I don't think trolls have those institutions (or at least not many are aware of them or how they work (I'm sorry but I refuse to believe the Trolls world has internet and cellphones, Mountrageons can keep that for themselves lol)), so it was more or less just Les finding Floyd a job and his own place to stay in the middle of bumfuck nowhere where he had no option but to detox, and constantly checking up on him to make sure he was doing okay. During this time they grew pretty close again. Or maybe the better term would be that Les slowly started putting his walls down again.

Hed needed a while to warm up to Floyd again. He's almost as protective of Les as Les is of him, and he resented Floyd for the way he had treated him.

Flea is pretty phlegmatic when it comes to any sort of arguing or drama. He was casual about seeing Floyd again, they were never super close anyway.

And Liv, she left the band when she and Hed broke up (haven't decided if that happened before or after Floyd left), so Floyd didn't get to see her again after bumping into Les at the party. And I haven't thought yet if they'd ever meet again somewhere later in life. But if they did, I think they'd both be happy to see each other.

Anyway...

Floyd managed to detox and successfully kept the job for about a year, but then he became manic again and messed it all up. After that he returned to his nomadic lifestyle, but he never fell as hard as those three years again. In my story Floyd's life is a constant cycle of getting his life together and fucking it up and booking to the next place. And he and Les are trapped in a never-ending cat and mouse game where they're both trying to fix each other.

So, uh, Les and Floyd are still very close and see each other somewhat often...

Mammon: Badtz-Maru

What? No he doesn't know about children's characters. He doesn't get why Levi is into them either. Oh it's because it's from the same place anime is made well... that makes sense. Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't concern him at all. It's Badtz-Maru. He really likes him. He thinks he's cool and even thinks they're similar.

Leviathan: Hello Kitty

Hello kitty is the classic sweet protagonist that Levi usually adores. Kind, bright and loads of friends. But just because the main character is his favourite don't mistake him for a normie because he could name every character including ones that don't stem from the Hello Kitty universe if he wanted to but he supposes if you really want to know then ----

Satan: Masyumaru

A talented, cute, fluffy cat there’s nothing that could make him dislike Masyumaru. He wouldn’t mind buying his merch if he’d had more recognition. Also sad that Chococat hasn’t had more recognition despite being included in a series (Japan rankings) He doesn’t understand why cats would be frowned upon because of the colour of their fur. Did you know black cats are actually a symbol of good luck and not bad- right… ahem. These two are very adorable but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t appreciate others characters such as, Kabukinyantaro, he absolutely adores Calico cats, Winkipinki, also very talented in arts, of course he doesn’t forget Hello Kitty, and, ah, and wasn’t there recently a blue cat added in as well? (They’re all cats. He continues for a while.)

Asmodeus: Bonbonribbon

She's so adorable! And she loves to sing and dance whats not to love?! A cutie into fashion too! He was even inspired to make an outfit based off her design with plenty bows and it turned out pretty well if he says so himself.

Beelzebub: Cinnamoroll

He bakes. It reminds him of Luke's baking because it looks so colourful and sugary and... Beel?? Are you drooling?! He's also loves Pompompurin. He's kind and eats a lot just like him. They both get along with each-other well too. (Beel also likes Devil Cat who's a mascot character known for liking eating food and kind personality so this makes so much sense)

Belphegor: Little Twin Stars

1. They're twins 2. They're related to the stars 3. Beel would probably like Lala, she seems the type of character Beel likes. Also Nemukko Nyago he totally understands him ...zzz.

Does D16 consider Orion to be a leader?

In my Megatron analysis rant (which still isn't done, lmao), I keep coming back to this line:

"I will never trust a so-called leader ever again. There’s only one bot I know I can trust…"

What I find interesting about this line is that by this point, it has already been proven that D16 doesn't trust Orion anymore (or at least a lot). One of the first things he did during his personality shift from the D16 we know to the Megatron at the end of the movie was to take the evidence from Orion. This could very easily just be lumped in with the fact that D16 has seemingly lost trust in everybody but himself (As evidenced by that last cutoff sentence), but I find it very interesting that he mentions a loss of trust in leadership right next to saying there's only one bot he trusts while Orion is right behind him.*

On one hand , it makes sense that D16 says he doesn't trust anybody else because he is on one of the lowest rungs of the totem pole, therefore making nearly everyone else higher than him and therefore a potential "leader." But then, what about Orion? They're equals, aren't they?

Before D16 starts down his dark path, he has been following Orion very trustingly. In most of their interactions, Orion is the leader and D16 is the follower. Orion initiates their friendship, their deal to always have each other's backs, and all the messes they get into. I initially thought this was the usual Introvert/extrovert or thrill seeker/cautious person relationship, but does D16 actually see himself as equal to Orion?

He doesn't actually get all that mad at Orion about all the shit he pulls, and when he does get mad, he forgives pretty fast. This could be because Orion is a friend D16 wants to keep, but it could also be because D16 doesn't think his boundaries are worth enforcing

In Sublevel 50, I keep coming back to how quickly D16 flipped from "No, I'm not going up there!" to "Yes, you've convinced me!" Upon closer inspection, when D16 says he's going to stay and wait for Sentinel, Orion uses B127 to emphasize "hey, this place sucks, are you sure you want to stay here?" without actually saying the words and sweetens the pot by offering D16 a chance to impress Sentinel, but when watching, the pacing makes it look like it doesn't take much for Orion to convince D16 to change is mind, just a very small, farfetched possibility as bait

some headcanons i have while drawing him are semi obvious while others are bc i like it ahehahhaheha

cupid's bow lips! this was semi inspired by Mizuki Umetsu, the actor for Noritoshi in the jjk stage play! hes so. pretty. perfect guy for the role imo! i was captivated therefore my views changed.

longer hair! the thought that his bangs(? are the same length, or longer, as the rest of his hair is nice.. it also makes his inevitable haircut much more refreshing! i also just like long hair and its a fucking waste not to do whatever the i want.

thicker brows and visible eyelashes! i naturally draw thicker eyebrows because it looks pretty, but the eyelashes is so fucking canon bro. dont even fight me on this, you'll lose. i read a fic about Noritoshi where it said he took good care of himself and his appearance inspired jealousy. that fucked me up man, so now i draw him as beautiful as i can.

monolids! I've looked through the manga and i think its highly implied that Noritoshi has monolids? yk those lines in between the eye and eyebrow, he doesnt have them in the manga. i thought it was because of the expressions he had, but no. the others have them, except geto! so geto also having monolids is so fr in my head. i like that feature abt him.

loose hairs! the hairs that i draw on his face. they make him look so cute and a bit more relaxed. he's not trying to be perfect nor have a single strand out of place. he's just a bit more at ease... though if there's something important he has to go through, he sharpens up. becomes.. stiffer?

I UNINTENTIONALLY MADE HIS CHEST LOOK A BIT BIGGER IN MY STYLE AND I WANT TO APOLOGIZE, BUT I'D BE A LIAR. DOES THIS COUNT AS A HEADCANON??? I JUST THINK... SINCE. YK. HES AN ARCHER. AND DOES TRAINING. AND COMBAT. AND DOES ALL THOSE HIGH JUMPS... HIS CHEST.
