Let me properly introduce the

Persona Firehouse Mockumentary AU

The main focus is on Firehouse 05, where their Captain is newly retired, and their two LTs are competing for the open hole. That's Joker and Goro Akechi. They also don't have a Sgt, and the drama of filling that hole

Starring, Futaba, who manages their systems and calls.

Haru, who acts as their den mother of sorts, learning from their retired Captain, Sojiro Sakura, on how to care for these dummies

Ann and Ryuji, who've been there the longest, beat bros, Ann is trying to get Ryuji laid/a partner and Ryuji is trying to help Shiho propose without Ann's knowledge

Yusuke, who just showed up one day and lives there. He. He was homeless and showed up and they didn't notice so now he's a firefighter??

Makoto! Their newest full timer, switched over after dropping out of the police academy, the only one of them that would fit in a drama show version unchanged. Also learning how to have fun and not be in charge! Learning to break rules

There's a cat that lives in the firehouse named Mona, and a tween boy named Morgana that hangs around a lot

Other characters that appear often would be the 04 and 03 firehouses, with the Persona 3 and 4 casts, Tae Takemi as a doctor and Sae Niijima the first responder. News reporter Yuuki Mishima, gym teacher Shiho Suzui, and a revolving cast of Volunteer firefighters, like Munehisa Iwai, or Sumire Yoshizawa

Fic idea: After the lawsuit Buck is persona non grata at the firehouse. Chim and Hen have to be kind to Buck in secret while Bobby, Eddie, and the rest of the firehouse make his life miserable. When tasked with some of the nastiest and hardest chores, Buck never complains. While moving a really heavy piece of machinery something slips as Buck takes a hard hit to his side. Blood thinners make the bruise worse. He curls up in the bunks, where Eddie finds him in dire straits. Cue the ANGST!

Prompt: Post lawsuit Buck is feeling super isolated and sad. When the blood thinners have a side effect leaving him with a painful itchy rash on his back, he does his best to hide it. One day Bobby piles on even more chores than usual, and one of the cleaning chemicals spills and makes contact with his back rash. Buck is in agony but says nothing. When it becomes too much Buck finally goes to Eddie for help. Eddie and co are horrified and feel super guilty, especially Bobby. Buddie endgame.

Prompt: post-lawsuit Buck is shunned by everyone and then some idiot firefighter decides Buck has to be punished and messes with his equipment. The team is so busy holding a grudge Buck almost dies on a call he's allowed on. Athena finds out and goes on the warpath. She finds the culprit and goes full enraged Momma bear on him before going ballistic at the team, ripping them a whole new one for endangering Buck. Team wants Buck back but they are crushed by how he's now terrified of them. Buddie

Omg I recently read your fic and I think you would be perfect to run with this idea I had about Buck becoming homeless after the lawsuit and dealing with the team being angry and distant with him, especially Eddie. When his homelessness is found out Buck ends up living with Eddie and Chris and has a hard time dealing with the team being sorry and begging for his forgiveness, especially Bobby who is sick with guilt for being the catalyst to Buck losing his stability. Reconciliation is painful

Prompt: due to medical bills and lawyers fees and Bobby cutting his hours clearly as punishment and everyone treating him like an outcast Buck finds himself evicted from his place and living out of his car. How the team finds out is up to you, but Eddie doesn’t hesitate to bring Buck home with him. The team is super guilty, especially Bobby and Buck is not going to just forgive and forget. Lots of crying please! Buddie endgame 

OKAY SO - To the five of you.

I received your prompts. They were all sent in good faith. I am, however, an inherently ornery, obstinate, and occasionally straight up belligerent person against my own best intentions.

I will 1,000% not be offended if you therefore take your prompts to someone else considering what I have done with them.

The thing is, I simply, personally, do not Vibe with the reading of the post-lawsuit era that says people treated Buck unfairly. I just. don’t. And there’s no way any of you could’ve known that before sending these to me. I will say, elements of all of your prompts have ended up in the finished product.

Which, for reasons that escape me, became a Groundhog Day AU set during Monsters. I don’t know why it became that. I really, really don’t.

Follows the events of P5 but with a more settled Makoto
