got the pamphlet for the national dutch theatre festival in the mail a couple of days ago and it's like [devil wears prada meme] julian hetzel got nominated? groundbreaking
#not sure what my favourite was this year as ive seen over 50 performances but at least some of my favourite performers were nominated for#the louis d'or (van weg met eddy bellegueule)#and some like peeping tom's triptych cant be nominated ofc since theyre belgian#like all of the nominated performances are mostly still those that are performed in proscenium theatres meanwhile yall might know#im a blackbox supremacist <3#theatre#at least ntf young got some things right for nominating ik... eh ik by het houten huis might be my favourite 'childrens theatre' company ❤️#and naomi velissariou was nominated for the theo d'or ❤️❤️ i didnt like permanent destruction pain against fear but she was sooooo good in#permanent destruction: the hm concert (unfortunately i didnt see their sk concert)....#like was it really tasteless? yes. but i liked it still...#🌬️
