She hesitated. It was awkward for her trying to get in touch with someone after so long. And while she wanted to see them again, she did find herself in the middle of something. But....One little hint couldn’t hurt. Two if you squint.

Guess it’s time to bring back the old Matilda birthday tradition of handing out Pinap berries to everyone she comes across.

Matilda was in Alola trying to clear her head. Through joining Team Skull. Well, sort of. She was joining to see what kept them going, and if they needed to be stopped. She had debated traveling to the mess that was Reborn, but she figured she needed to keep places that she could get in and out of easily. And Team Skull at least seemed the least organized to her.

So far her trip has been fun, if a little disappointing. Her favorite part was the Rowlet and Mimikyu she caught. But she was expecting there to be more, honestly. But mostly this was just a group of people who made a family for themselves, and for some reason broke the law. 

She was debating hanging up her pink wig, and eye makeup, and just leaving the team to maybe take on the island challenges or something else to distract her. She didn’t feel the need to try and stop Team Skull anymore. And then something caught her interest. Talk about Aether and Lusamine. Now that was an organization that was too good to be true in Matilda’s eyes, but she never had any reason to go after them other than her own distrust. 

The talk alone could be nothing. Aether was a pretty large presence in Alola. But there was something that made her want to learn more. Probably the fact that she really didn’t want to believe that the foundation was as good as they made themselves out to be. But for now, that was enough to keep her here.
