#perhaps cora-san nagi nagi no mi

Would mini-mingo have any Cora-san quirks? Would Law immediately feel protective of her? (That's a trick question - everyone's protective of her even she doesn't need any lol) Perhaps she inherits the Nagi Nagi no mi.
Hm! Now we're back at the question whether Cora lived or died in the Mini-Mingo AU.
Maybe if she made a goofy smiling face Law would instantly be reminded of Cora but I'm not sure if he'd realize that she was related to him if he first was introduced to her as Luffy's sister. Also as far as other quirks go, I don't think she'd be particularly clumsy? (Though maybe the one exception is that she's pretty flammable *lol*)
But I'm also not sure what circumstances would lead to Law meeting her in the first place. I know One Piece teenagers are already pretty active on battlefields and all that but I'm not sure she is? (I'm making this all up as I go, as always *lol*)

AU where Monkey D. Dragon isn't just conveniently visiting Foosha when Sabo gets blown up and so instead Sabo winds up drifting until he eventually washes up on some random island with no idea who he is
I like to imagine him happening upon a Devil Fruit—perhaps Cora-san's Nagi Nagi no Mi? Combine Sabo's fashion sense with Cora-san's "calm" fruit and he could be a Gentleman Thief
His epithet would be "Gentleman Thief" Sabo
(Or perhaps "Phantom Thief"? Or would that be too on the nose what with him being presumed dead and all?)

Baring my heart to you~
He’d been resting peacefully. Perhaps not deeply, but comfortably. He was content despite the tight quarters. In the time they’d met, the ice that surrounded his heart had slowly begun to thaw. Things that would have once bothered him, he now allowed and even enjoyed to an extent. Like her touch. Her scent. These things he found rather calming and it was hard to feel his usual amounts of anxiety and agitation when she was wrapped around him, that scent washing over him.
Despite her giving in to rest, he hadn’t expected her to do much of that. In truth it hardly even surprised him now that he would feel her fingers ghost over his skin, or feel her eyes pour over his features. It was as if he filled her with wonder. He had even trained himself to hold still and not move or flinch at that touch.
What he hadn’t expected was to feel her lips so suddenly brush over his. He inhaled sharply, eyes sliding open in shock. As much as he enjoyed certain touches from her, this had been enough for him to push backwards from and stare, heart thudding in his chest. It wasn’t as if he hated the idea of what had just happened, but he hadn’t been ready for it. His thoughts had been everywhere and he’d not had time to sift through his feelings.
But then he saw the hurt welling up in her eyes just as sharp as if he’d stuck her with a blade to the chest. Immediately he wanted to at least attempt to rectify the situation, he reached out to grab her, but she pulled away and he caught sight of an expression that would haunt his mind for some time. Immediately he began to berate himself. How could he hurt her like that? Hurting her was everything he’d wished to avoid, it was why he hadn’t allowed himself to fall deeper for her, to reciprocate her feelings as easily as she seemed to do with him. How could he explain to her?
It wasn’t her. It was him.
He wasn’t sure how much time had passed, he’d been sitting in one position, head buried in the palms of his hands furiously trying to think of what to do. Finally he stood. Either way it would be getting dark and they needed to leave soon. But before that could happen he needed to talk to her. He couldn’t allow her to wallow in misery and pain. He quickly found where she was curled in on herself, a frown pulling at his lips. The silence was almost deafening.
“Tori-ya. I want a chance to speak. I need to explain myself to you. You don’t have to speak if you’re unable, but please. Just listen.” He slides down to sit nearby, but not too close, afraid she would force her way past him again.
“I’m not very good at this. I never have been. And that is the problem. Not you.” He inhaled again, long and deep. This was harder than most things he’d done. He used his tongue to wet dry lips before diving into what was likely to be the worst explanation of himself ever.
“I’m sure you know I’m from Flevance. I lost everything there as a child. My parents. Friends. Teachers. Lammy....” A hitch in his voice caused him a pause. The memory of his little sister hurt. He could see them all, In his mind. A pile of bodies, unmoving and gone from him forever. Another breath and he forced himself to continue. “I managed to get away with my life. But I’d contracted the same disease that had killed my home. The same disease the government feared enough to destroy everything I knew. The agony of that, the betrayal of those my people trusted, it changed me. Knowing death was going to come for me too compounded it all even more. I grew hateful and decided to find someone that would help me take down the government. Or anyone I could get my hands on. I hated life. Donquixote Doflamingo took me in. I was allowed to join his family. In order to fulfill what I thought were my last wishes. And then I met him.” Law dipped his head, pain striking him again. His voice wavered just saying his name.
“Corazon. The man who ate the Nagi Nagi no Mi.” He paused briefly wondering if hearing the fruit’s name would catch her attention. “He saved my life. He tore me away from his brother, Doflamingo. A man whose evil I chose to ignore. He found me the cure to my illness. After many months of failed hospital visits. Despite the doctors being terrified of me. Finally he found it, though at the ultimate cost. Making enemies of the government he secretly worked under, giving himself away to the brother he was working to take down. All for me. A bratty little kid. Doflamingo killed him. He killed the last real person I cared for. Who had shown me real love and that happiness could still exist.” He voice was growing weaker as he became lost in the memories that shrouded his mind. All he could see was Cora-san’s last smile, he could hear his last words to him.
“You are now truly free. I love you.”
And then the gunshots that stole him away.
Law could hardly face her. Instead he looked to the journal in his hands and opened it, leafing through the few pages he’d begun to fill in. He needed to ground himself. It was too much. Baring it all like this. Facing his fears and his past all over again. Instead he rested his eyes on her. The face he’d drawn in. The eyes that twinkled at him, the smile given freely. His thumb moved over the ink as he fought to find more words.
