Sharing my funny face and funny sound this morning. I’m actually doing an exercise called single cavity technique. Our teacher, Overtone master @nestorkornblum does it way, way much better. Overtone singing (or harmonics) is an ancient technique that produces 2 or more sounds simultaneously. It was first discovered by mathematician Pythagoras 2,600 years ago using a monochord. Nestor emphasizes that overtone singing, with intention, can miraculously serve as a “very powerful tool for vibrational re-patterning to reprogram our physical, mental and emotional bodies with a more harmonious, natural in tune pattern. Part Two of today's summary rehash. PERFECT FIFTH. C D E F G for me. Minor (three half tones) over Major (four half tones) is a Major. Perfect Fifth vibrates three times for every First's two vibrations. (Incidentally, Major over minor is a Minor chord.)
