Ah, the head pop. Yes, I feel it is in the character of Aziraphale to ask for permission first. Anybody except Crowley.
What do you think Aziraphale was doing in this scene?
Was he hiding as he waited for Crowley? Or was he talking to the Bentley?
I like to think he was asking the Bentley if it was okay to drive her to Edinburgh. Only if the Bentley was okay with Aziraphale driving her, only then he'd tell Crowley he planned on taking "our car".
