Does anyone else ever go through that thing where you just can’t remember the title of something for the life of you? I read this fic about percy wealsey and oliver wood and I love it. I cried the first time I read it. It is beautiful and amazing, but it’s been deleted (I can’t find it on ao3). I have searched through my history and everything. I’m almost positive it was by alrightginger who I know has deleted all of her fics and has also written percy/oliver content before. Percy and Oliver had a relationship in Hogwarts and reconnected after the war. It’s from Percy’s perspective and he gets invited to Ron’s wedding to Hermione and takes Oliver as his plus one because apparently you can’t go to weddings alone. They end of hooking up after the wedding and continue to do so until a quidditch gala where they fight over if they are dating or not. Percy has all this guilt over Fred and feels like he doesn’t deserve anything. There’s a bunch of internal dialogue about what he can take from Oliver. Percy goes and talks to George and it’s very emotional and beautiful and I did cry. I don’t need to read the fic again because I do have the plot memorized and multiple lines memorized as well. “Here here!” shouted the rest of the team. Oliver's teammates seemed to be trying their hardest to make him cry. He felt a tugging sensation in his chest, and wondered if he would ever be on a team with this much camaraderie.

“One last thing,” Oliver regained his composure and turned to his Seeker. “Fifty points, Harry! Remember we need to be at least fifty points ahead of Slytherin before you can catch the Snitch! If Malfoy sees it before we’re fifty points ahead, you need to intercept him, but don’t catch it! Fred, George, try to knock a Bludger at Malfoy if you see him speed up– you can do that even if we are fifty points ahead! But I’m sure you know that already. So then if it’s fifty–”

“–How many points do you reckon we need to be ahead before Harry can catch the Snitch?” George interrupted, rubbing his chin. “Was it forty?”

“I think it was thirty,” said Fred. “Maybe Harry remembers. Harry, how many–”

“Oh shut up you two,” Oliver said flatly.

The twins looked delighted, with George exclaiming, “A pitch perfect impression of Percy right down to the exasperated eye roll!”

“You spend way too much time around him!” said Fred gleefully.

“True, true. But Wood’ll have to watch him extra closely to pick up on the subtleties of Percy’s annoyed face. Like his stupid nose twitch.”

I already know about that, Oliver thought, pressing his lips together to suppress an amused grin. “I’ll watch Percy a normal amount, alright,” Oliver sighed, running a hand through his hair.
