Grog/Vax: For me, it started with a joke in the Discord. I don’t even remember why the joke started. Honestly it was just for giggles at the time but like… they joke about it on the show so much??? It’s weird and cute.

Percy/Vax: Not until I read some fic of it. The show has had basically no Perc’ildan stuff outside of the kiss back in the Underdark arc. I thought it was cute but I never thought it had any canon basis.

my thoughts:

Grog/Vax: Vax responds well to powerful people and especially powerful people putting him in his place. Unfortunately, Grog also responds to that and Vax is definitely not that for Grog. If they did get together, they’d be a solid couple forever though.

Percy/Vax: Percy could also be that for Vax but I see them more as a torrid love affair that burns bright and fast. It’d be passionate while it lasted, but it’d never last forever.

What makes me happy about them:

Grog/Vax: Vax has come so far in his relationship with Grog in canon and it means the world to me. Grog has also come so far just in general. My boys :3

Percy/Vax: They’re finally back on even footing and being friendly again. They were killing me for so long.

What makes me sad about them:

Grog/Vax: I think if they got together, it’d take a long time before Grog stopped assuming that Vax was pulling some kind of ongoing prank. Vax also would just be waiting for the other shoe to drop and for Grog to go whoring, thinking they’re just casual.

Percy/Vax: God, what doesn’t make me sad about Perc’ildan? They have such vastly different views on life and they’re such a poor combination of mental illnesses that I think they’d spend a lot of time hurting each other inadvertently.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

Grog/Vax: There’s not much of it and most of what there is is porn. Which, hey cool, but I’d love to see them being boyfriends instead of just having rough, raunchy sex.

Percy/Vax: Hey, you know what I don’t like? Hate sex! Hey, you know what most of the Perc’ildan written these days is? Take a guess!

Things I look for in fanfic:

Grog/Vax: Fluff, I want these boys to be fluffy. Not out of character fluffy, I know Grog isn’t gonna bring him roses or anything. Just let them be friends and boyfriends without boning down.

Percy/Vax: Literally anything that isn’t violent hate sex at this point.

My kinks:

Grog/Vax: I confess, the size difference is definitely working for me.

Percy/Vax: …nothing really. I sat here for like five minutes trying to think of something and I got nothing. Let those boys have vanilla sex with neither of them ending up bruised or bleeding, please.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

Grog: Give me all the Grogleth.

Vax: Vaxleth is okay I guess.

Percy: I am a huge Perc’ahlia shipper, obviously.

My happily ever after for them:

Grog/Vax: Relaxed, chill bfs who wander the world, righting wrongs, righting lefts, and teaching Grog how to write comment cards.

Percy/Vax: Going to therapy together and taking their goddamn meds and maybe being less grumpy guses.
