Collective OT301 is looking for new members

OT301 is a legalised squat. A multimedia cultural centre encompassing a mix of non-commercial, (sub)cultural, artistic and activist projects and people. OT301 is owned and run by a collective. All renters are members of the collective and must have an interest in playing an active part. Amongst other things, this means participating in regular meetings and taking responsibility for various tasks. If you only want to rent a space and are not interested in the commitment required to become a member in such a collective - please DO NOT APPLY! Two spaces are available (the exact rents still have to be confirmed): VENTILATIEKAMER: 59m2 (includes 2nd small room for storage 26m2) rent contribution in the region of €880 x month Suitable for having a meeting, workshop, discussion, presentation or other small scale project. 50 square meter space is on the 2nd floor of the OT301 with view on the Vondelpark. It has a bar, small stage and lots of daylight. It is NOT suitable for loud noise. As with all spaces within the OT301, the space itself isn't completely insulated from noise/sound made in other parts of the building either, so you would need to be able to work with that. CINEMA: 97m2 rent contribution in the region of €850 x month Suitable for collectives, schools, independent artists with an interest in visual / multi-media / film / cinema / education / lectures / presentations, etc. Mostly daytime activities work best because of noise from evening programmes from other spaces below and above. As well as during the day, 2 evenings a week can be used to screen films. Please note: Applications for either space will not be considered for projects which include the following: parties, bands, DJ's, general horeca, activities beyond 12:00 midnight Applications should include the following: - Description of what you do including documentation, text, images and cv. (150-250 words) - Description of a project, plan or approach of how you would integrate into the building and its organisation. - What is your idea of the OT301 and why would you like to be a part of it?
