I figure we were acclimated to The Pentaverate (membership from "So I Married An Axe Murderer" not the TV series) being a part of, and in control of, our (the pawns) lives for several thousand years by the game of chess. "The Queen (chess queen), The Vatican (chess bishop) The Gettys (chess rook) The Rothschilds (chess king) and The Colonel before he went tits up (chess knight)

I've avoided the Pentaverate because it looks dumb. Now I'm watching it and it is absolutely dumb. It's also the funniest fucking thing I've seen in quite some time.

IABN Witch Hunt - Chapter 2
She almost wanted to laugh. She suspected that Ariane would probably shiv her if she did, but she couldn’t help it. The woman had been nothing but harsh words and hard glares up until now, but her newly open-mouthed, wide-eyed look at the rows and rows of books was really quite adorable in its way.
“Look at all these books,” she gasped as they strolled through the shelves. “I’ve never seen so many.”
Getting in hadn’t been a problem. The Templar at the door still remembered her from her last visit to the Circle and it seemed that her new position was not without its privileges. Apparently, the Warden Commander had the right to wander the first floor of the Circle unescorted.
Her company however…
Well, they’d needed a little convincing on that point.
(Though she still wasn’t sure whether it had been Dane or Ariane that they’d most objected to.)
“Come on,” she said. “If we’re going to have a hope of finding anything useful in all this, we’ll need to use the index.”
Ariane gasped. “There’s more?”
Elissa chuckled and strode through the library, ignoring the students debating magical theory and trying to disregard the memories of the last time that she’d been in this room. Not that the faded bloodstains still lingering on the floor were helpful in that particular endeavour.
The last time that she’d been in this room, the centre of the dais had hosted a desk, cracked in two (either by a spell or a demon), a flurry of loose papers, and an elaborately carved chair tipped on its side. Today, all that stood before them were four pedestals, each bearing a weighty tome, which between them listed all the books housed in the vast library.
“So, someone wrote down every single title in this whole library?” Ariane asked, once Elissa had explained how the index worked.
“That’s right.” Elissa chose to start with the tome marked ‘A-F’, because it seemed the most logical place to begin. “Have a look through. Let me know if you find anything useful.”
It was several minutes before they found something that seemed promising, which, honestly, was faster than she’d thought they would be. Most of the book titles were long and pretentious like ‘An Anthology of Esoteric Examinations of the Alchemical Properties of Dryadalis Radix as Discovered by Professor Lucio Pentaverent the Third’.
It was, therefore, something of a relief to find, a few pages later, a book title that was simply:
 ‘A Catalogue of Elven Relics’
“I recognise the character on this page,” Ariane said, once they had pulled the book off the shelves, only to discover that it was written in a language that Ariane couldn’t read, and that Elissa had never seen before. “I think it makes up part of the word ‘Eluvian’.”
Hardly helpful, but at least they were onto something of the right track. She’d like to think that the Circle wouldn’t house a book that no-one could read, but based on the mages and many, many scholars she’d met over the years – all of whom hoarded books like a dragon did treasure, regardless of the use of said books – she couldn’t quite bring herself to believe it.
“Who let a dog in here?” came an imperious and frankly outraged voice behind them, as they leafed hopelessly through the book.

Last summer, I met a woman working with infants with developmental problems. We chatted a few times about how a trustful bond between adults and children is essential and how, as adults, we communicate information through words and our mimics, tone of our voice, and eye contact or avoidance.
As infants, we can't speak or take care of our needs and have yet to learn everything about this world. Finally, we still depend on the surrounding people, so we observe. We mind how they move and speak and catch up on their emotions through facial expressions. We learn what makes them happy because if they are happy, we are safe. So, for example, a stressed mom can be translated as a great danger to a newborn.
As grown-ups, we meet challenging situations and stressful events, and we don't understand why we repeatedly get into the same troubles. We blame it on bad luck, people, chemtrails, Trump, the weather, mass media, religion, institutions, The Illuminati, The Pentaverate, aliens, etc. Whatever excuse it is, we avoid searching for the real roots of our misunderstanding.
We gain clarity by going inwards, searching for our truth. What did we learn from others in the past? Did we feel safe to speak our truth? Did we receive love and support? How about our inner child? Does that child feel loved or empowered by their surroundings? For me, it was significant to listen to my inner child before I could heal, let go, rewire my thoughts, love myself, and feel safe and at peace. However, communicating openly took me a long time, and I am still learning to express my feelings.
My practice taught me that most of our beliefs are deep-rooted in our past and that we can break toxic patterns by facing them. However, if we avoid and don't accept what was and what is, we will inevitably face the same results.
So what will you do next time your inner child asks for your attention? Will you finally face them?

The Pentaverate (2022)
In today's review, I find out the the shadow cabal that runs the world, has a few issues of their own. As I attempt a #positive review of the 2022 miniseries The Pentaverate #MikeMyers #KenJeong #KeeganMichaelKey #DebiMazar #RichardMcCabe
I suppose it can be comforting to imagine the ensuing chaos of our lives being dictated by a shadowy cabal, with objectives known only to them, a lot of times, these organisations are nefarious and well-organised. But if there was a mysterious society, would that always be the case? In 2022, a silly gag in a seldom-thought-of film would be the launching bed for a shadowy comedy, The…
