I just life hacked mask life. (Also, I’m sure I haven’t been the first to think of it). I just put a few drops of essential oils in my mask when I was filling up my diffuser at work. Say what you will but this all made me so happy. We found a way to play a virtual game of Cards Against Humanity, enjoyed an hour and a half long Group FaceTime chat, tried on different hats and outfits in our houses, and laughed so much it kinda hurt. Social distancing made for a different kind of birthday for Allison. But I love that we all came together and celebrated her. My friends are rock solid. (Also, we know we can’t sing). I know lots of my clients book through my social media (thank you so much for trusting me with your hair). However, as much relief as I get from posting personally, keeping up with personal and 4 work pages has become a lot to deal with. I want to practice what I preach with my self care. So I have a new work police I’m going to try out to help with my depression and anxiety. If you’re a client, please take a gander. As of late, social media has taken over more and more of my life for work. I use my personal social media to express my advocacy for mental health and it’s time to practice what I preach for work social media presence for my mental health.
