Definitely. Penny likes the New Who, while Wooton leans more toward the classic episodes, and both agree that Sarah Jane Smith is the best companion.

So... my sister and I were talking this afternoon and she brought up that maybe AIO needs to let characters die and other’s take their place. For instance, Whit. As much as it pains me, I think it could be a good thing. The series proved it can work without him from volumes 21-27. Not saying I wouldn’t be heart broken, but it is a part of life.

You could get to see Jason mature just enough afterwards and take his father’s place at Whit’s End (I mean, is the antique shop really exciting enough for him? Maybe). Connie finds her calling (and marries Jason *cough cough*) and you can bring in other characters to represent the girl who knows Jesus but is still searching (Jules perhaps?) And a reckless, adventuresous type (Buck?) to fill the roles Connie and Jason represent.

To me, they’re the two characters who seem to be stuck in life. Characters like Eugene, Katrina, Wooton, And Penny have all gotten real character development recently and meanwhile Connie and Jason kinda seem to go through the same things over and over. (I.e. Jason joining and quitting the agency to have a more ‘normal life’ and Connie still aimlessly taking community college classes

AiO Thought of the Week

I think Wooton and Penny celebrate Halloween. Penny seems like the type to insist that Halloween's roots are 100% Christian and also love all the decorating. Think she really leans into the cutsy version of it with lots of orange pumpkins and scarecrows

Connie and Whit still don't celebrate for sure, but I have no idea about everyone else.

so @jedidajo 's post about Katrina got me think about everyone's finances. Who on the show is NOT secretly rich?

Like we all know about Whit but then Wooton not only turned out to be rich but also grew up rich. Penny has debt but she married rich so that's fine. Connie technically has a trust fund and Jason's a member of the board for UPF. Tom's apple farm is quite successful, but I suppose he was under a lot of financial stress after he opened the Timmothy Center. As far as Bernard, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Maude managed to make a ton of dough off her psychology degree. she goes on a lot of trips.

Wooton and Penny would make great parents and I think them having kids would be a interesting story line to explore.

AiO Thought of the Week

I need a Wooton and Penny host Thanksgiving episode.

The guest list will include:

Bradford,

Penny's Parents, (Penny’s dad and Bradford are still a little at odds unfortunately)

Wooton's parents (yes both of them and Wooton's dad initiated it because he genuinely wanted to see Penny again but no he and Wooton are in no way reconciled and they still won't be by the end of this episode,)

Wellington for sure and his wife maybe (if she exists I'm not convinced)

Talia doesn't need to physically attend but if she doesn't they have to say she horseback riding in Mongolia

Penny's sister and her husband have to come ideally with their baby but if the baby still isn't born we can work with that too

Along with Wooton's grandfather getting a shout out, Mrs Randalof is mentioned to have bake them a pie which she dropped off the day before, the charity Wooton's cousin runs will be referenced, and Hadley makes a brief phone call cameo.

Will this be a chaotic mess of an episode both on a writting and sound design level? Yes. What will the Chris wrap up be about? Loving your family even if they're a lot like that one episode where all of the Parkers' extend family took over their house for a week.

Jason as the Impostor:

When they’re in the room together: has a surprisingly bad poker face and doesn’t participate in the discussion. Will win if nobody notices his silence and smile from the corner.

When they’re not in the room together: has trouble with the chat keyboard. Really good at sneaking up on people tho.

Buck and Jules:

Always help eachother win if the other is the impostor.

These two slay for obvious reasons (no pun intended)

Connie:

Constantly running into walls. Struggles with the tasks. Enjoys being a ghost because she can’t run into walls.

Penny:

Wants to get killed so she can be a ghost and play tag.

Will sometimes accidentally oust the impostor (including herself) when she’s a ghost.

Eugene:

Constantly taking about the inaccuracies of the game and how the space ship wouldn’t even be life sustaining with all these issues. Finds the tasks lacking in stimulus.

Despite this, gets wayyyyyyy to into the game. Shouts out directions/instructions when soemthing gets sabotaged.

Katrina:

This girl SLAYS. Undefeated as the imposter. Amazing at figuring out who the impostor is. People never want to vote her out because she’s so good at figuring it out, but they never want to keep her in because she’s go good as the impostor.

Eugene refuses to vote for her. The one time he does vote for her, she’s not the impostor and they loose the game.
