Draw/write oc in opposite dorm/class challenge

Wasn’t sure what would be considered the “opposite” dorm to Diasomnia, but there is one uniform I’ve kinda wanted to see Blue in for a while now..

Can you blame me?

Ok, so I gotta write a few alternate dorm headcanons cause these are too good to let slide! First, tags.

- Everything about her at the beginning is the same, except she doesn’t abhor chemistry. She’s still neutral about makeup, but Vil’s ready to train her to use it anyway.

- Remember when I mentioned Blue had tried to wear her hair pin human disguise but was outed and lectured by Lilia on her first day at school? Well, she didn’t have that problem in this scenario. For two weeks, none of her classmates knew she wasn’t really a prim raven haired human girl. Then one day, Vil noticed her updo was getting messy and, like a good upperclassmen, tried to help fix it. Blue didn’t even have time to respond before the pin was removed, and the black hair melted to aqua before the man’s eyes. That was the beginning of an excruciatingly long, uncomfortable explanation. Vil confiscated the magical device after wards, insisting she learn to get comfortable in her own skin and let him play with her hair, c’mon how many chances do you get to plait naturally blue hair?!

- As a Diasomnia student she was able to avoid Rook’s, erg... eccentric displays of admiration? 1st year Pomefiore Blue doesn’t have that luxury. The vice dorm head would take every opportunity to complement her, and every time she ended up a stuttering flustered mess, which only encouraged him. It took a while, but she was eventually able to grow accustomed to Rook’s outbursts, even growing to like them a little. She admired his bravado and absolute lack of reservations. He spoke his mind, damned the consequences, and carried on with a smile. Yes, some found those traits terrifying, but Blue thought they were endearing. Eventually they’d probably become good friends who “unintentionally” flirt through the use of sarcasm and witty banter.

- Blue would still get into the habit of preparing morning drinks for everyone, working right next to Vil who busied himself preparing breakfast. Since Vil insists that everyone wake up early for their beauty routines, there isn’t any need for our fairy to trouble herself with getting people up and ready. Thus, she doesn’t have the “wifely” reputation Diasom!Blue does. That doesn’t stop her from helping out where she can, though!

- Vil enjoys helping her with makeup and hairstyling, not just because of her hair color. Blue doesn’t get restless and fidget in her seat like most people; she’s still as a mannequin unless instructed to tilt her head or some movement of the sort.

- By the 2nd year, Pomefiore!Blue has a healthy dose of confidence and is good friends with both of her upperclassmen. Soon as the 1st years are initiated Blue and Rook do the honors of mercilessly teasing the precious babies relaying the dormitory rules. The pair automatically take to Epel, fawning over the lil shiny baby apparently harassing first years is a second part of the initiation process.

- Epel: *gets back to the dormitory past curfew, runs into Blue and Rook at the front door*

Blue: Epel, my child, where have you been? Your father and I have been worrying ourselves sick!

Rook: *rolls with it like a boss. Holds his hat to his chest and wraps an arm around Blue’s shoulde, looking comically distraught* You’re mother is right. Son, we feared the worst! You could have been devoured by wolves, or worse! Savanaclaw students!

Epel: *deadpans* I can’t believe you two...

(If nothing else comes of this ship, this one piece will be enough to justify its existence.)

- Oh boy, the whole “I have a kid” thing would be tough to bring up. I think Blue would actually feel comfortable explaining it all to Rook after getting the call that Pennly’s papa had died, and I’d like to think he was open minded, maybe even talked to Vil while she left to do...whatever it was she needed to. By the time she returned with the little boy in tow, Vil was mentally prepared as was a spare room located near Blue’s.

- Omfg, Pennly in a lil Pomefiore uniform! Yes! I need to draw that!!!

- Vil, dressed like an absolute queen, sitting cross legged on the floor teaching Pennly how to use makeup! Yes!! Epel helping out by babysitting the lil cutie!!! Lord please!!!! Rook taking him to the archery field and showing him how to use a bow and arrow!!! My heart, I can’t!!!! It’s too precious!!!

- *someone genuinely pisses Vil off*

Vil: Don’t talk to me, my husband, his wife, or our sons ever again!

Theres Chaos trio with @/no-luck-styn, @/disasteromnia ocs and Choco.Where they go around causing big ruckus wherever they go and Crowley is highkey just a tired dad, since no matter how much he scolds them they take the opportunity to take the upper hand and annoy him some more.

And then theres 3 year trio with Trey,Cater and Choco.They been seen hanging out most often than not and and are know to make Trey join in their shenanigans.

And the caretaker duo for Ban and choco.After the accident between them they formed a babysitter and child relationship and they both somehow manage to keep each other away from trouble.

Pennly: “CHRISTMAS!!!! All the decorations are so bright, and they look pretty with the snow! And everyone looks so much happier! Back home, the nice old ladies from church would bring everyone sweets, sometimes new mittens they made, and lots of people would go around singing in the morning. Papa would bring me to the homeless shelter and we’d hand out the toys he made earlier in the year to all the kids..... This is gonna be the first Christmas without him..... it’ll be ok. I’m gonna be with momma after all! Really hope Grampy Lilia will let me help put up the dorm decorations.”

Blue: “I’m fond of Samhain- what you would associate with Halloween. There’s something about the feel of it....it’s hard to put into words... Do you know that feeling you get when you walk into the mouth of a dark cave? Like, a cool, heavy blanket of darkness surrounds you...it’s comforting..calming even. Mix that with the costumes and fortune telling and presto, my favorite holiday! However, I’m starting to warm up to the human’s Yule and Christmas celebrations. The lights are quite lovely....”

Tanner: “Does my birthday count? Yeah? Good! It’s a day dedicated to myself and can be used to get away with so much. Want desert at a restaurant? Hey it’s my birthday. You get it half price! Short on bits when you’re at the store? ‘Uuuuugh, what a birthday I’m having!’ Cashier says not to worry about it! *sigh* Best days- er, Imean day, of the year.”

Reaction to Pinocchio

- It’s official, Pennly is definitely gonna sing “When You Wish Upon a Star” at the cafe, and Blue definitely cries a lil bit.

- Geppetto lives alone with his pets and crafts, which he also carries on full length conversations with. I’ve never related more to an elderly animated man in my entire life.

- How to summon Blue in three easy steps:

1. Leave a window open.

2. Locate the wishing star and chant “Starlight, Star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I make tonight.”

3. Go to sleep you crazy fool!

- Wow. Jiminy really be like that for Blue, huh?

- HE LIVES!!! MY SON IS ALIVE!!!!!

Fun fact:

#1. Walt himself told the character designers that he didn’t want the Blue fairy to look like some made up model but like a whimsical creature of nature. However, noe of the designs worked out and she ended up looking like one anyways.

#2. In the book she was called the Fairy with Aqua hair (because her hair was blue, not blond).

- Blue: I leave you alone for one day and find you hanging in a cage. *inhales* BOY-

- Unpopular opinion: Lampwick got what was coming to him.

- So Blue has messenger pigeons, nice..... Or, was she the pigeon? 😮

- G: “This is my emotional support cat and goldfish. Yes I need them both with me at all times. Even in a rowboat on the ocean where I might get eaten by a whale.”

- I change my mind. Blue didn’t bring Pennly to Nightraven because his Papa died. She took one look at Jiminy’s track record, Geppetto’s senility, and Pennly’s BRUSH WITH DEATH and decided he was safer living with her in a school of deranged sorcerers.

Pennly: “They’re ok, I guess. My papa used to sing some for me before bed when I had couldn’t sleep, but he didn’t have too good of a voice for it. He always ended up coughing or falling asleep halfway through...I miss it... I don’t like asking, but mamma will sing one if she thinks I’m feeling down.”
