Bird #56 - the Australian Pelican (LC)
A quick break from requests to do a silly guy! The Australian pelican boasts the longest bill in the bird world, up to 47cm. It looks ridiculous how long it is (probably too short in the drawing even with feathers covering it up, whoops...)
They aren't picky eaters, using that beak on anything from boring ol' fish to other birds (which they can pin underwater to drown) to even small dogs or cannibalism of younger pelicans.
