Beyoncé for SirDavis whiskey. Her own brand of whiskey. Here’s all about the whiskey:
Color: Deep Copper
Aroma: Tangy Seville oranges mingle with soft sun-kissed raisins, while the sizzling spices of clove, cinnamon, and ginger play with luxurious notes of Demerara sugar and toffee.
Taste: Rich & buttery toffee is followed by an array of spices with cinnamon, clove, and classic rye spice up front. Followed by soft, malty and biscuity notes intertwined with a vibrant citrus top note.
Finish: Hints of honey are encountered with a soft, lingering finish reminiscent of plump sultanas and ripe cherries.
Here the complexity of rye is married with the elegance of malted barley. Finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit.
ABV 44% (88 proof)
Bottle Design: Designed the bottle to be displayed as a statement piece. Beyoncé said that its shape is intended to reflect her own tension between femininity and masculinity. Beyoncé collaborated with Dekorglass to create the bottle, who work with prestigious whisky brands
Beyoncé’s custom louis vuitton portable whisky bar trunk embossed with western motifs for sirdavis is inspired by rodeo saddles à la ‘cowboy carter’
SirDavis will be available to purchase on September 4th (Bey’s birthday). But you can pre order on the SirDavis website, right now. 🥃

In our house we call this stuff crying juice - this is the story of why. About five or six years ago, Mr Hag and I went to a pop-up tapas evening at a local cafe. We had some great food and then after the meal, the guy organising the event offered us both a little glass of Pedro Ximénez sherry - not something either of us was familiar with at the time. So, we each took a sip—and Mr Hag immediately started crying.
Once he'd worked out what was going on, he explained to me that his dad—who had been dead several years at that point—had really loved sweet alcoholic drinks, and at Christmas when Mr Hag was a kid, his dad would buy himself a bottle of cherry brandy or something similarly syrupy, and he'd give little sips of the stuff to young child Mr Hag (different times!) It turns out that one of the sweet, syrupy drinks Mr Hag's dad had given him was Pedro Ximénez sherry, though Mr Hag hadn't known that's what it was—but the instant he tasted it in the cafe he was transported back fifty years to childhood, Christmas, and his dad.
So, we now buy a little bottle of it each Christmas and we drink to Mr Hag's dad. And in case you're unfamiliar with PX sherry, it tastes like sweet, alcoholic raisins—very Christmassy, in fact.

The Dodo for my Limited edition artist series bottles for Rabbit Hole Distillery. I reimagined Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland characters in a sort of Steam Punk vehicle riding world. Alice is all grown up and tatted with Dinah as co-pilot in the front. The Dodo, (who was a metaphor for politicians) has a Boss Tweed type driver atop his destructive steel behemoth. The Caterpillar has emerged from his cocoon even more twee and affectatious than before and flies away in a puff of hookah smoke. Will Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum ever make it out of the forest while working against their own interests? The Queen’s Card Guardsman patrols the night skies. The Queen of Hearts is imposing on her half flamingo-half machine. “Dareringer” is single barrel cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks at 118 proof and luckily is my favorite of all their offerings. Available at select retailers in South Carolina and Texas. Posters, T-shirts, and stickers are also available. This was an incredible amount of work conceptualizing and designing and redesigning these characters and backgrounds. Alice in wonderland is beloved and has been reimagined so many times it took so long to develop something new. We had several half starts and reworks but in the end it was worth it, the bottles are beautifully printed and even have spot gloss embossing on the art. Time for me to go have 2 or 3 (or 4) fingers, Cheers! (also there will be more posts with behind the scenes and details stay tuned). See more of this project on my website

GlenAllachie Whisky Cuvée Cask 2012/2023 bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import
The GlenAllachie Whisky Cuvée Cask 2012/2023, bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import, is a remarkable bottling from the Scottish Speyside distillery GlenAllachie. This limited edition, which will be released in 2023, dates back to 2012 and has therefore been matured for around 11 years in selected casks. The special feature of this bottling is the so-called "cuvée cask" maturation, in which the whisky was refined in different types of cask to develop a particularly complex variety of flavours.
Cask type : American oak casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, Moscatel wine casks, ruby port casks.

Kyro. Kyrö's choice. Malt rye whiskey. Finish smoked rye whiskey with Pedro Ximénez cask finish. 47.5%
