William Stephen Coleman (British, 1829-1904) • Chromolithograph for Pear's Soap Christmas Annual • 1897

From 1891 to 1925 Pears issued a large format Christmas Annual each year. This contained Christmas stories and advertisements and wonderful presentation prints. The annuals themselves are collectable but rare as they were been broken up to yield collectable Pears ads and the cover design for framing.

Idk if this was THAT common of a headcanon back in the day but around the time season 5 of MLP was airing (or at the very least, after season 4 ended) i would see a lot of art on deviantart of the background pony apple fritter as applejack's mom (it was probably all the same artist now that i think of it) so i decided to draw her with AJ's ACTUAL mom :P
