I had run towards Tomas Shelby. My protector even if I didn’t realize that he was. I ran towards him after every fight, and after time my fiance kicked me out for some god awful reason. He thought I was cheating, he had come home drunk thinking he could have his way with me. Tomas was my saving light in every situation, and at one point in the dark of the night I left. Dropping my gold band onto the table in the kitchen, and walking out in the cold London air. 

I walked for a few miles before the heels on my shoes started to cause an aching feeling in my ankles, and feet. Regardless of the pain I walked until I had gotten to The Garrison. I was relieved to notice that the lanterns were still on, and when I walked in with my small bags and a tired expression stuck on my face everyone stared. The bartender wasn’t Shelby, Shelby wasn’t anywhere to be seen until someone a younger kid was calling out for him. “Y/n?” I heard my name from behind being called. “Thomas,” I said dropping my bags and running on hurting ankles towards him. 

“What’s happened now?” Thomas whispered into my ear. Gently holding me even in front of all of the people in garrisons. “I left him, I just couldn't not anymore,” I murmur into his chest, his hand combing through my hair gently. He released me from his hold and dropped my feet to the floor. I whimpered at the pain that struck up through my feet, up my ankles, and into my calves. Thomas looked down at me, arched brow. “Are your feet alright?” Thomas asks weary of letting me walk. “I walked here, it was late when I left and heels aren’t the best idea,” I mumble. Thomas chuckles, “Probably not sweetie.” 

He walked us to the backroom. A room I had been in so many times before this that I got into my comfortable spot. Thomas sat down next to me. Since I was almost here weekly it was hard to not get connected and fall into the favor of Thomas Shelby. He had once been a great friend of my ex-fiancee. It was hard to not like and fall in love with Thomas Shelby. The man that took care of everything. A wonderfully nice man that could scare and kill the shit out of you in just one look. 

One incredibly sexy look. 

“Are you sure that’s what you want?” Thomas asks as I settle myself into the room. “I can’t continue to be with someone who doesn’t even love me anymore. I think he used to, but I’m not sure anymore Thomas.” I murmur, I see a slight change in Thomas' expression; it's hard to tell what he’s thinking. Staying with the Shelbys is like being in a whole new sparkling world. The gambling in the back room, and the horse races that Thomas would grab my hand and drag me to every weekend. The world that we lived in was always so quick, I would have to run back to my abusive fiance. 

“What are you saying, Y/n?” He asked me. Thomas is staring at me, looking right through my eyes, and ending up my soul. “I don’t feel as if it’s a hard thing to understand Thomas, I want to be with someone who’s there for me, not off drinking and coming home half drunk off his arse. I want someone who gives a shit about me. I want a…” Thomas leans in, invading space was a new thing that Thomas had started to do. Grabbing me by the hand and keeping me close at horse races, or a hand on my back to keep me in line as we walked around to many people. “You want what, Y/n?” He asks leaning in closer, eyes flickering all across my face. I lick my lips and am hesitant about the words my mind uses. “I want a good man, I want a Shelby for Christ's sake,” I murmur out, Thomas Shelby smiles for the first time in for forever. I swallow the way my heart jumps into my throat. 

“Thank Christ you said that, because I’ve been holding on to the piece of jewelry for a long time now,” Thomas mumbles as he reaches into his jacket's inner pocket and brings out a beautiful diamond encrusted ring that had sparks of sapphire ringing through it. I stare at the ring and then back at him, he rolls his eyes at first. “Are you gonna make me ask?” I smile and reach out bringing my hand out. 

The ring feels heavier like it means more than that stupid gold band had ever meant before. It gives me the feeling that my relationship had time to grow, and had weight to it. My previous, abusive relationship had meant nothing, the gold had already been tarnished long before it was slipped onto my finger, and just a little loose around my finger. 

Polly, Arthur, and Ada are so used to having me around that the change from only being there a few days out of the week, to daily doesn’t bother a single one of them. The rooms in the back are still pumping out bets, and the horses are still racing the next day. For a week everything is a dream, a new dream come true. Thomas takes care of me and takes me on a new shopping trip. New dresses, brand new shoes, undergarments that aren’t years old. He spoils me for what I’m worth and it hits my core as we walk into shops and everyone stands a little bit taller, and we can shop with ease. 

A week passes faster than I realize it must. Thomas and I are sitting at the bar in Garrison. When he walks through the door. The doorframe almost came off from the hard slam, the glass shaking in its frame. He scans and my heart picks up in my chest. Thomas looks over, aware of the chaos. He stares right at me, his eyes are red with rage it shows on his face. “WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN, Y/N?” He screams in Garrison. Eyes are starting to look, I swallow hard, “Of course no fucking answer just like always.” He walks forward inching himself closer to me. Thomas moves slightly, but it catches his eyes. “What is this Thomas? Huh? Do you like sloppy seconds? You know she belongs to me right?” He chuckles out, he’s so villainous that it makes me nauseous and the tears being to bubble up in my chest. 

“Polly?” Thomas, Polly bounds out, a cigarette in hand and an arched brow at the screaming and yelling. She rolls her eyes, “It’s too early for this shit Thomas,” “I know Polly, just look after Y/n.” I go to say something, but Thomas is getting up. “I used to think you were a great person, but Y/n had been coming to me for years. Long before you even asked for her hand, not that she wanted to give it to you.” Thomas mutters out, before turning around and kissing my forehead sweetly. “Everything will be fine darling.” I hum and watch as Thomas stands up to him. 

Chest to Chest. “I’ll fight for what’s really mine, let’s fight huh?” Thomas and he walk out the front. I stare with my mouth open catching flies and everything else. I was startled by the hand that landed on my shoulder. Polly is standing behind me. “He truly cares about you, Y/n,” Polly mutters, taking me to the back. A smaller living area was in the back. “Do you want a cup of tea?” Polly asks, I nod my head and breath for what seems like the first time since he walked through the doors of the Garrison. 

Polly smokes one more cigarette before the water starts to boil over, and then Polly is making two cups of tea in front of me. She seems to notice the distant look I have on my face. “Dearie, Thomas will be just fine. Don’t you worry just one bit? Drink your tea and he’ll be in soon.” Polly brings her cup up to her red-coated lips. 

An hour passes for the bells of the garrison doors jingle, I get up and rush through the back doors and back to the bar. Thomas' clothes are a little disheveled. A glass of brandy in his hand, like he hadn’t just been gone for an hour fighting my ex. “Thomas?” I ask he turns and his knuckles are bloody, a few bruises already growing. But his handsome face is covered in blood. Rushing over to him the bar feels empty. ‘Thomas your nose.” I look over at the bartender. “I need a cloth and some ice.” He nods and comes back seconds later with both. 

“I should have killed him sooner Y/n. I’m sorry I let you deal with that shithead for all that time.” Thomas whispers to me as I clean up his nose and his knuckles. I hum along with his words. “But he’s gone now, right? That’s all that matters.” I whisper back. I wrap his knuckles to keep the blood from getting on everything around us. Thomas takes one last sip of his brandy before grabbing me by the waist and out of the Garrison. 

Small heath and watery lane are places I know so well that I’m not surprised when Thomas brings me there. The car ride from Garrison to Watery Lane is long, and as much as I don’t mind riding in a car rather than driving I manage to sleep it all away. Thomas has to wake me when we make it to Watery Lane. 

“Can I take care of you tonight?” Thomas asks as we enter the bedroom. I swallow down the horny feeling in my chest. “I don’t want to hurt you any further Thomas.” I manage to get out, he rolls his eyes, picking me up and dropping me at the edge of the bed. “You my darlin’ couldn’t hurt me if you tried,” Thomas mutters as he kisses me slowly. With intent that makes my heart race in my chest. Clothes are scattered across the floor, and the sheets are rough against my cold skin. Thomas’s teeth and tongue graze softly against my soaked cunt as he devours me like I’m the last meal on earth. My hair gets tangled as I shake my head against the sheets. My hands land in his hair pulling and tugging him closer. My moans bounce off the walls, and even though I can feel Thomas looking for friction of his own against the side of the bed. I still manage to get to my high. It lasted much longer than I ever thought it could.

Hey! Could you write headcanons for Being the Peaky Blinders’ nurse? Thanks so much!

When you first got one of the Shelby’s to your little clinic, you were surprised instead of being afraid. 

The Shelbys weren’t exactly good people, but they were kind to those who lived in the area, helping them in exchange for not snitching on them.

So you didn’t think twice when you ushered them to lay the man on your table and started examining him.

It was John - bruises covering his body, him groaning in pain as you twisted and pressed around him to find any broken bones.

He had a nasty gash on his side and bruises, but nothing more serious.

So you disinfected his gash and wrapped it up, before you called out to his brothers to come and pick him up.

“A week of rest and lots of water helps a lot,” you instructed them. “But if he gets a fever, bring him back immediately.”

And that was that, they thanked you and left.

You thought it was the last time you’d see them, at least for a while – but then they kept coming back.

You didn’t really understand why, your little clinic at the corner of two backstreets, on the verge of bankruptcy, when they could afford going to one of the fancier places near where the injury happened.

Not that you complained of course, they paid you handsomely.

But to your surprise, those payments weren’t enough as a large company bought the building complex where you had your clinic, and you were forced to close it.

You wandered around Birmingham for a week or two, trying to make up a way to feed yourself and pay the rent for your flat.

And then…

Tommy Shelby himself appeared at your door.

“I have a proposition,” he started, handing you an envelope. “We have a free room at the Garrison, you could practice your clinic there. In exchange, you would take care of our gang.”

You eyed him for a moment before you peeked into the envelope. Hundreds of pounds laid there, enough to pay off months of rent in advance. You frowned.

“Why me?”

He was quiet for a moment. “You help without questions, are good at what you do and are currently struggling.”

You stared at him for a moment longer, fiddling with the envelope, before you nodded. “Let me get my suitcase.”

The room at the Garrison was bigger than you expected—not as big as at your clinic, but plenty of room to do whatever you needed. And you remembered occasionally thinking that you could get by with a smaller room.

So, you began your work.

The gang was your priority, but you were allowed to take other customers for extra coin.

Not that there were many, but you were content treating the gang only too - they paid you well, you had money to live comfortably.

Sometimes, they invited you to have a drink or two with them.

In case you fell sick, Polly and Ada took care of you.

Hot tea, warm blankets, soup.

They fell like they were your mother and sister those times, by how caring they were.

Eventually, you moved to live closer to Garrison, Tommy pitching in to help you with costlier rent.

Finn growing up meant he spent time at your clinic a lot. He got into trouble almost daily and came back with bruised or bleeding knees, and you were constantly patching him up.

And Arthur needed your help after he returned from fighting rings, or when he had wandered around and got into trouble while drunk.

You grew to be an important part of the gang, something you didn’t expect.

And they, in turn, grew to be important to you too.

Living with John Shelby Headcanons

Warnings: Period-typical misogyny, sexism, suggestive language, John wants more babies.

Domestic Hcs

With this Shelby, you only start living with him after you’ve been married. He made it clear to you that he has four children at home and that they needed a mother more than he needed a bedmate. John can be brash and impulsive, but he takes his role as a father seriously… even if he isn’t always good at it. It was this dedication that drew you to him. You had always wanted children, why not start out with four?

John’s home is constantly busy, constantly noisy, and full of laughter. It’s not terribly glamorous, but there’s a lot of love in your new home. The kids were young when their mother Martha died, so they don’t fight you as much as you thought they would. 

John is pretty much hopeless when it comes to most household chores. He’s excellent at what he does as a Peaky Blinder, but he’s severely lacking in domestic skills. Can’t cook, can’t clean, and can’t fix much more than a leaky faucet. His kids were the first ones to warn you about all of that. But you ask him to help anyway, because you’ve seen how happy it makes him to accomplish these little missions. John wants to useful; he wants to succeed at fatherhood. So, you eat the burnt toast he serves and compliment his slowly improving handyman skills.

Seeing as how John burns water, cooking is primarily your thing. Expect John to invade the kitchen at every stage of cooking to steal a sip, a bite, a kiss, or a quick squeeze. To people outside the home, he’ll act like you being in the kitchen is nothing significant. You’re a woman, after all, doing women’s work. John’s just playing up his macho act. Food is a major thing for John, it represents love and safety for him. So, to see you in his kitchen, making him and kids a hearty meal just ruins him. 

He loves to take you and the children out to have a good time. Picnics mostly, because most indoor activities end with your little family being told to never come back. If you’re feeling like you need some time alone with John, he’s eager to fulfill your request. Just make sure to specify if this “alone time,” is an actual date rather than John dropping the kids off at Polly’s so he can ravish you in every room of the house. 

Relationship Hcs

John will deny it till the day he dies, but he only meant for you to be a one night stand the first time he met you. He wasn’t ready for love, and he had come to expect women to be just a bit deceitful. And then he got to talking to you, and you made a joke that had him shooting whiskey out his nose and suddenly one night turned into a week. One thing you learned about him is that deep down, he’s very tenderhearted. He loves deeply and grows attached to people faster than he wants to admit. 

Your man can be a tad uneven with how he responds to stress. Sometimes, he seems so easy going that it feels like he doesn’t take you seriously. Other times, it feels like he’s overreacting or being downright sensitive. The easiest way to insult him is to question his manhood. He loves to have fun and doesn’t always think things through, but he straightens up fast if you try to tell him he isn’t being the man you thought he was. John can get rather nasty at times about that. He is not above having a row with you about “who’s the one leading this fucking family.” John cools down slow and is extremely guilty afterwards… but he’ll never apologize directly to you. 

John cannot plan dates very well, at all. Tommy is the brother with plans, not him. So, naturally, he’s asked Tommy for advice in such matters. Your first real date with John was at a fancy restaurant in London. The two of you were still getting to know each other and he wanted to impress you, badly. You were both dressed smart as can be, the restaurant was lavish and romantic. John pulled out your chair for you, opens the menu, and freezes. Nothing on the menu was appetizing. At all. To try to save face, he asked the waiter to bring out their most popular dishes. The food comes, and you’re both picking at your plates with tight smiles. Finally, you say “Fuck this, let’s go to a chip shop.” If John had brought a ring, he would’ve proposed right then and there. 

It came as a bit of a surprise to you, but John is something of a dreamer. John loves to lay with you in bed and talk about all the things you two will do. He likes to tell you about the house in the country he’ll move you and the children out to. As you watch him list off all the things he’ll buy for the house, you can’t help but cuddle in closer. John gets such a big smile thinking about the good that is to come. It’s all very innocent. 

One would think a man would be content with four kids… well, John isn’t. He honestly got baby fever before you did. All it took was seeing you read his girls a bedtime story and he wanted another baby. Maybe two. Or three.

Jack Nelson (non-dark) x shy Librarian Reader either one shot or relationship headcanons where he falls obsessively in love with her (Can include NSFW). 02. I love your OC Scarlett and I was wondering if you could write a little adventure between her and her twin John. These last ones are silly. 03. Hi lovely, tysm for the compliment! Since this is a long ask, I'll break it into a couple of replies. #1 I'll add to my WIP list as I already have an idea so that will be forthcoming. As for #2, I have a series that's a bit like this already called Partners in Crime between John and Alfie's sister (written as a reader insert). They have chaotic sibling energy I think you'll enjoy! I must say tho #3 is the ask I had the most fun with bc I found some hilarious real (and not so real) book titles that had me screaming with laughter. You'll see why when you peek below the cut 🤭

What are we allowed and not allowed to request on here?

okay, i'm assuming this ask is related to my tmnt writing since that's my focus at the moment, but generally what i'm saying will apply to any fandom i write for. if you're unsure about a fandom or you're absolutely dying for my take on a specific character from a fandom for some unknown reason, then just message/ask and i'll let you know because i do not have enough space or time to list every single fandom i have ever been interested in and will write for. from my blog you can see i have writings for tmnt, asoiaf/got/hotd, and peaky blinders, but i'm focusing on tmnt for the foreseeable future!

so, in terms of tmnt, i feel like the limits are pretty generic (i.e. no non-con, tcest, underage nsfw, turtles abusing reader etc.) kink wise for nsfw pieces, i'm pretty open - although personally, i just cannot write anything involving scat, urine etc. you can request reader x multiple turtles, but i have no idea how well-written that would end up, especially if it's more than two so that's your choice.

i'm currently writing for 1987, 2003, 2007, 2012, bayverse, and rise (all 18+) as well as just a generic tmnt universe without specification. i write pretty much all formats; longer imagines/oneshots, dribbles, headcanons etc. and i'll write nsfw, fluff, angst etc. too. there's no genre or format limitations that i can think of!

edit: i should add that i have seen and love batman vs. tmnt so i suppose we can add that to the list of universes I'd be willing to write for!
