In a far off land, not too different from ours, lies a kingdom of culture, serenity, and happiness. Home to a noble king and queen, and their seven sons. Trained from young to protect their people in both combat and livelihood, the esteemed princes are known by kingdoms far and wide.

Known for being the funny one, who’s constantly posting hilarious and often unglamorous videos of the reality of being a prince

he’s got a natural way with words and he knows how to project his voice so that all eyes turn to him when he’s in a room

but he tends to remain initially quiet in serious situations

not because he’s frightened, but because he likes to take time to absorb and process all the information before giving his opinion

he really likes to consider all sides of an argument before speaking out

similarly when it comes to matters involving the kingdom or their people, shunya takes time to weigh all the advantages and disadvantages before helping to come up with a solution

the king and his group of royal advisers like asking for shunya’s opinion because he gives detailed insight into political matters from the younger generation’s perspective

all the boys go to him if they’re down and need cheering up

because shunya can do either one of two things for them

he can either listen to them and help them work through their problem

or he can make silly jokes and make them laugh until their stomachs hurt

he’s spectacular at both and these strengths are what make him special

although he’s way too humble (and doubtful of himself) to ever admit that he does have such an impact on people’s lives

he can be the life of the party, and other times he’s completely annoying his brothers with lame jokes

“hey- hey guys! GUYS! what do you give a sick bird?” “.............” “TWEETMENT!! :D”

it gets even worse when shunya is drunk cause then he never. shuts. up

he’ll start talking really in-depth about the kingdom's relationships with neighbouring allies and he knows all the gossip about royalty from other kingdoms

he’s one of the least aggressive brothers but on a bad day he’d probably exchange june or yugo for a chicken nugget

just because

is typically seen wearing all black: from his trousers, to his leather jackets, down to his combat boots

you’ll see him wear neutrals from time to time but mainly black

he’s like, trying to keep up an edgy persona

he’s amazingly photogenic, even in public press shots

this coupled with his sleek taste in fashion always makes him look like a model

his crown is simplistic, with floral-like curves and diamonds

it glimmers under bright sunlight and makes shunya appear to have a halo

for his weapon, he started out using throwing knives and he progressively transitioned to using daggers

unlike younghoon, he prefers being up-close to his opponent as he feels it can get him closer to his intended targets

this is especially helpful to him when he wants to make sure the stab will be non-lethal

but his plain daggers grew to be boring and dull

and so he spent a full year designing, crafting, and remaking his weapon

he’s now added an enhanced feature that sets his daggers apart from others

he took his longest daggers and removed their middle portions, then inserted mechanics into the dagger so that he could attach canisters filled with deadly poison. finally, he attached switches to the handles of each dagger

to use it, he stabs his enemy as per normal, but with the flick of the switch, poison from the canister travels through a pathway within the dagger’s blade and exits through a minuscule hole at the dagger’s tip, into his enemy’s bloodstream

the poison shocks its victim’s and renders them immobile until they receive the antidote, but its only deadly fatal if the victim already has a weak immune system

he has seven daggers in total but he hardly uses his poison unless he’s in an extremely serious situation

typically fights defensively in battle, and doesn’t charge at his opponents

in the eyes of other nobility, shunya is the smartest prince. in the eyes of his people, he’s the funniest and most relatable. he’s tactful, endearing, and inventive all at once

he just hasn’t realized just how much he’s actually contributed to his kingdom yet

Warrior Prince Yugo

The youngest prince

the cutest boy in all the land, with his curly hair, baby-soft skin and squishy little cheeks

everybody loves him so much, he’s showered in compliments and affection everywhere he goes

he’s always grinning and posing for pictures, he never shies from talking to the townspeople, especially all the grandmas and mothers who fawn over him and give him free sweets and bread from their shops 

but don’t be fooled because this boy is a devil child

will not hesitate to make fun of his brothers at any given opportunity 

he’s also learnt hand-to-hand combat so he’s really not afraid to stand up for himself and attack any of his brothers if he must

do not ever leave yugo and shunya alone in a room together cause one will definitely have the other in a headlock in 0.0005 seconds

knows how cute and adorable he is and uses it to his advantage

when there’s heated arguments between the brothers guess who’s sitting in the background looking all innocent as if he wasn’t the one who started the whole thing? yup its yugo 

but he sincerely loves each one of them and admires all their different qualities, he drives himself to be a better prince by watching his brothers work and succeed

(although he’ll never say this aloud cause that’s gross ew)

you can always find him in the palace kitchens snacking on food, especially if there’s a ball coming up and yugo will be down there “taste testing” everything

the cooks and servants all love him and give him everything he wants and so yugo actually eats a hell of alot

his parents are honestly astounded as to how he can fit so much food into his petite body

his metabolism is sky high

unlike his older brothers he really enjoys wearing traditional royalty clothes; things like long, flowy, ruffled shirts, embroidered vests, high-waisted pants, and gold jewelry 

they make him feel elegant and dignified and all his outfits stylishly compliment his figure

his crown incorporates precious and rare uncut gems from the caves one of lazurite kingdom’s allies - given after they helped their allies ward off invading enemies

when yugo was born a year later it was called “a blessing from the heavens” 

a.k.a yugo was unplanned 

the gems were weaved into his crown because they represent his life - a miracle from above 

his brothers sometimes make jokes about it though

“look! the blessed child is gracing us with his prese-” “SHUT UP JUNE”

after yugo was born the queen was like

NO MORE CHILDREN I CAN’T DO IT ANYMORE

so the king thought “well gotta make sure there’s at least one archer in the family” and that’s how yugo got his bow and arrows

he spent a lot of time in the gardens where target practice was set up especially for him; he loved his bow he could never put it down

even firing arrows in the palace and trying to use his brothers as target practice

he was grounded a lot for that

his arms and shoulders suffered immensely in the beginning, but he’s learnt the proper techniques that it doesn’t affect him anymore

but his aim took him much longer to hone 

younghoon watched yugo’s struggle and remembered a time when he too had problems in his journey to perfect his aim with his gun

younghoon completely adores and loves yugo with all his heart (and he’ll gladly admit it) so he passed down any and all knowledge that he had to the younger

whilst shooting from a gun and from a bow are drastically different, the oldest and youngest were able to find a solace in their shared experiences

now yugo’s aim with his bow and arrows is scarily good and he’s able to draw arrows from his pack and fire them in the blink of an eye

he can even shoot two arrows at once and have them both hit their direct targets like ??????? that should be impossible??? 

he likes to practice alone but isn’t opposed to doing it with one of his brothers if they asked him

his favourite past time is going out into the woods with june 

being the rascal he is, yugo likes to shoot at the barks and branches of trees to scare the birds away

don’t worry hes never actually hit a bird on purpose

yugo is young and still has much to learn about being a prince and a role model to his people, but he’s smart and cunning, and he knows that with determination and a sweet smile, he can get anything he wants

Tomoaki, fifth prince of the kingdom of lazurite

I’m sorry did you mean THE MOST DESIRED BACHELOR OF HIS GENERATION?!??!?!??!?!?!?!??!??!?

this man has a face that was hand-crafted by the purest of angels who poured every single ounce of love, happiness, and golden rays of light into sculpting him

people will have perceptions of what they think perfect beauty is in their heads, and then they take one look at tomo and then everything they’ve ever known is thrown out the window 

his beauty is so renowned that even kingdoms from far away know of him and his famous nickname “The Ethereal Prince”

but his people know that tomo isn’t just about his looks, there’s actually so much to him that outsiders don’t initially see

tomo had been interested in the kingdom’s livestock industry as a boy and when he became an adult he vowed to raise the standard of the kingdom’s agriculture, and ethically source and trade food from their allied kingdoms, as well as ensure all workers received fair treatments

he now heads the kingdom’s entire trading and agriculture sector, but his favourite area is the fishing and seafood industry 

he loves being on the boats as it sails across the sea, the salty air whipping his face and tousling his hair

his skin glowing under the dazzling morning sunlight

he sits and closes his eyes, and listens to the calm of the splashing waves, the low hum of the boat engine, the joyful chatter of his fishermen

these are his favourite moments 

there’s something about fishing that tomo loves so much, like the anticipation, and the thrill of the catch

his brothers think hes weird though, who wants to be stuck on a boat all day smelling like fish? gross 

tomo LOVES wearing classy three-piece suits, he’s been almost exclusively wearing tailor-made suits since he was 15

he loves how they hug his body but still allow for comfort and movement, all while making him look and feel dapper

he’s not opposed to wearing any colour; he has suits in black, maroon, lilac - but his favourite is a deep, rich navy blue

when I say that tomo wears suits all the time, I mean ALL the time

even if he’s fishing on a boat, or on a farm getting ready to help herd animals, all he does is throw off his blazer, unfastens his cuffs, rolls up his sleeves, and he gets right down to business

his crown is elegant, with small black diamonds around the edge and tall curves that remind him of corals

it hardly ever leaves the palace because tomo will never risk getting it dirty in soil, or even worse, accidentally dropping it into the sea when he’s on a fishing trip

but sometimes, he asks for it to be brought to his room, and he’ll just parade around his room in it and admire himself in the mirror

it does wonders for his confidence

neither he nor his parents intended for it to be so cliché but tomo ending up with a trident as his designated weapon just happened naturally 

one day, when he was a young boy, he was browsing the palace’s armory 

when his eyes fell on the collection of spears and it was love at first sight 

his family jokes that he’s poseidon incarnate

trains with his trident rather frequently and so he’s grown accustomed to it’s hefty weight; in fact, tomo has the greatest upper body strength among him and his brothers 

tomo doesn’t have the same pinpoint accuracy as younghoon or yugo do when it comes to long distance aim, but with his arm strength he’s able to propel his trident through the air to mighty long distances

he can also use his trident in close-range attacks, it has a sharp blade at it’s end so it allows him to fight opponents that pounce from both his front and behind

he’s quick and limber, and he lunges forward to plunge his opponents with great agility and force

would much rather talk things out instead of resorting to physical violence but if the situation demanded it he’d be on the front line to protect his loved ones - no doubt about it

tomo is beautiful, that’s obvious, but he’s also dedicated to protecting his people and to him that means making sure that they never starve and never feel afraid, and the people love him for it

Warrior Prince Heecho

In a far off land, not too different from ours, lies a kingdom of culture, serenity, and happiness. Home to a noble king and queen, and their seven sons. Trained from young to protect their people in both combat and livelihood, the esteemed princes are known by kingdoms far and wide. 

The heir to the throne, Heecho is the 2nd eldest son so his destiny was sealed the second Younghoon signed the declaration to relinquish the throne

he felt immense pressure, and no one hardly ever saw him out of his room

anxiety and fear about being a king plagued his mind for months

what if he was unfit to rule what if he became a tyrant what if his people didn’t like him what if invaders attacked what if he couldn’t defend the kingdom what if 

perhaps the one of the hardest moments of the queen’s life was watching her son slowly self-destruct 

but through months of healing and listening to his father’s teachings, Heecho felt he was ready to brave the kingdom again

as the future king 

out of all seven princes, hes the most different in public compared to private 

people will see him on screen giving royal addresses, or in public whenever he visits the towns, and they’ll go

“its the ice prince! hes so stoic” “i’m not sure about him becoming king” “maybe we should give him time”

when Younghoon stepped down from the throne, and Heecho was announced as the new successor, the kingdom was divided because unlike Younghoon who had a loud and outgoing personality, Heecho was reserved and a mystery

he never addressed the public on his own will, and he always stayed at the back of the pack when he and his brothers roamed the kingdom

the people only knew him as the tall, stone-faced prince

until Shunya shared a video of drunk Heecho crying and cuddling the palace cats one night

and everyone went

this is......the ice prince????????    w h at???????

but hes won the people over with his respectful character and leadership in charity and reform 

everyone loves him now

although he still gets very shy when the press takes his photos or when people ask for his autograph

the crown he was initially gifted on his 18th birthday was matte black and simple

but now that hes the heir, hes had to swap it out for a new one

his new crown is still all black but now with intricate patterns 

and its embellished with red dragons; the kingdom’s national symbol

but he only wears it for official royal family photos, or if nobility from neighbouring kingdoms visit

doesn’t mind the crown but isn’t super in love with it

likes to wear long flowy coats cause he thinks they make him look cool and dramatic 

but he has a funny habit of tripping over himself 

his weapons are two scythes that can be attached together

so he can either use one in each hand or he can connect them to make a double-headed scythe

which is downright terrifying

because when the two weapons are combined the whole thing is almost as tall as Heecho, who stands at a whopping 186 cm 

the blades are super long too

when he first got it he was overwhelmed about using it

the scythes were heavy and when practicing he had to be alone at all times because he didn’t have control over the weapon and its movement, rather it looked like it was dragging Heecho around, and when he swung it scared the hell out of everyone 

he almost slashed a few people which made his parents reconsider giving him a different weapon

but Heecho is never one to quit. he trained all day and night with his scythe. until the skin of his palms peeled, and his grip became sore from clutching so hard. until his shoulders and back pained from the weight of the scythe and he dropped it to the ground. both he and it drenched in sweat

it took him years but now he and his scythe move as one; with fluid movements, he feels like the scythe is a part of him when he wields it

however, Heecho’s greatest weapon is his voice and reasoning, for he knows that when he becomes king, he’ll need to be able to gain allies and avoid wars at all costs

Heecho may be frightened and worried about his future, but everyone knows that he’s dedicated and thoughtful to those who rely on him to protect them. He’s a kind hero to his kingdom, a loving and witty brother to his siblings, and a fearsome prince to those far and wide
