More Pax Pamir 2nd. I think I’ve mentioned that this has really exceeded expectations, and I’ve continued to really reliably enjoy this - and it’s good with 3, 4, or 5 players. Although I really enjoy Root, I do think this might be better. As much as I like Root, the Woodland Alliance is a bit finicky and can really mess with the balance (and the fun) if people don’t fully grasp the enormous hockey stick trajectory of their power level. Pax Pamir gets much of that game’s asymmetry a lot more organically.
