I HATE YOU.” It rings clear, outright into the air, and it feels like a great WEIGHT lifted from him.  Xanatos slowly chuckles once, twice, and so on until his SICK LAUGHTER escalated into a mad chorus. His grin becomes wide, his straight, white teeth bared like FANGS at the other, yet his brows are creased, his eyes full of sorrow, anger -- EVERYTHING left unsaid between them. “---  Have I ever told you so outright, my FORMER master? I HATE YOU. I need you to remember.” (Xanatos remembered, could never let himself forget --his scarred cheek made him remember his hatred whenever he looked in a MIRROR. He knew that he haunted Qui-Gon’s memories, but it was not ENOUGH to soothe his vengeful conscience. He craved the other’s suffering.) Quickly, his grin faded as he solemnly vowed: “I will never let you forget.”

Something was entirely awkward about his standing there under the watchful eye of his General’s master’s master ( -- was he getting that right?), getting the oddest sensation that he may have somehow been under dressed or out of place or -- almost naked. He did a quick, nervous skim to make sure he was wearing his armor and felt immediately foolish for thinking he wasn’t wearing it.

Nothing good comes out of these two going on missions together, just, period. Not a surprise, considering one is described as unorthodox and the other as a maverick

They can enjoy each others company without needing to have actual conversations, just tea. When they do talk though, it’s ninety percent built up snark

Shaak braids Qui’s hair when they do hang out and have a craving for intimacy, she’s pretty decent for someone who’s completely hairless

They fit the same robe size, which leads to some unintentional rumours when laundry ends up confused. Being the trouble makers at heart that they are, they role with it to the point the council needs to actually confirm they are not sleeping together

four headcanons post, right?

one. satine never really cared for qui-gon in the beginning. it wasn’t until he told her the story of master tahl that she saw more of a human side to him. 

two. he helped her solidify her choice of pacifism. 

three. qui-gon reminded her alot of her father, just less angry.

four. after his death, she had a bronze plaque made. it sits in the courtyard, memorializing his contribution to the galaxy and the enduring rule of the kryze clan.

As a Padawan, Siri respected Qui-Gon as any Padawan respects any Jedi Master, but aside from that, he was not one of the Masters she held in the highest esteem; she thought he played too fast and loose with the Code.

She was, however, both impressed with ( and a little envious of ) the connection that Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had so soon, when it took her longer to form a similar connection with Adi.

Siri found herself thinking of Qui-Gon a lot during her undercover mission, both because of his recent death, and because his unorthodox ways suddenly became very useful for her. 

A fellow Jedi once half-jokingly accused her of turning out more like Qui-Gon than her own former Master, and where she would have been offended as a Padawan, as a Knight, Siri just grinned and nodded.

Bonus: she fully expects to be called out on the above facts in the afterlife.

@withoutpeer / @paxjinn / @soulscatter. Bri has been here even longer than I have, and is such an asset to the SW RPC ( and on her multi, an asset to fandoms outside of SW, too ). she is so kind and welcoming to everyone, and was the first person ever to come talk to me when I made Siri’s blog. it amazes me how Bri manages to write with pretty much everyone and has such incredibly diverse threads with everyone, and has such a wide range of short threads and long threads, and just all sorts of things. Bri is an incredible asset to the community.

@exitiumparit, just a couple weeks ago, tbh. ( though Haley has picked me up when I was down more than once. ) Haley is such a good friend, such a wonderful writer, and such a creative, smart, passionate human being, I’m constantly glad to consider her a friend and am also sometimes like wow how did I manage to find this human and befriend her. ( though in fairness, Haley’s the extrovert, I think it’s more that she befriended me than the other way around. @ fellow introverts don’t you love it when you get adopted by extroverts and are like ‘omg I have friends!’ )

These different ways are called love languages, and while everyone understands a little of each language, we all speak and understand one or two better than we do the others. Your love language is physical touch.

For you, love is as simple as a caress. Where ever it happens, how ever long it lasts or how it is: it could be just holding hands while walking about, having a quick cuddle once the kids are in bed, stealing a kiss here and there, exchanging touches while passing each other in the hallway, and of course making love, particularly in the warming up phase – body to body, skin against skin… Physical touch is security and reassurance for you and makes you sure that your partner loves you. You can invent a couple’s game to make your partner guess which styles of caress you like and which zones of your body are more receptive (Getting hotter, getting colder… ) If you are seriously lacking contact, begin by explaining to your partner how you operate in sensorial terms and perhaps invited them to find 5 different ways of physical contact during the day.
